Hi allafter having this error message “This Add-in is installed for all users on this computer and can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator”, I was no longer able to open my IFS BR Reports created.I uninstalled IFS BR 21.2.0.0 (installed before with the MSI) … and I installed again IFS BR .. but I always have the same issue.I follow the topics named “IFS BR issue with Office 365”.I have installed IFS BR as administrator but I always have the same message : Operation Cancelled (Exception of HRESULT : 0x80004004 (E_ABORT)it’s very strange because 1 hour before it’s running well, but after a Microsoft Crash, … I have this issue.Please contact me asap I really must use IFS BR and reports for an important presentation this week./RegardsERIC 

Hi all,is it possible to fetch the value from any text field in IFS with the PL/SQL developer?Not the value from data base: Because I need an event which prevents to enter more than 35 characters in the address line 2 field.My idea is: count all entered characters in a field. If > 35 then do not save and error message in IFS. Thank you

In an excel BR report a user got the error message “Error occurred creating zip file”. As the designer I do not get the same error when running the same report.   Any advice or thoughts? Thanks

Hello, All- Trying to create a single supplier payment file for check & ACH (paid via 3rd party - Paymode).  The required file is a csv mixed with a pipe separator.   Any suggestions for creating a mixed output file type? Best-Christy

I have created a complete custom report (.Report, .RDF, .RDL, .XML) through IFS Studio Report Designer to replace the IFS PO Report.  There were just to many things we wanted to change to make it economical to change the inherent IFS Report.  Is there a way to change to the custom report so that the inherent IFS calls (like the RMB on the purchase order to print the work copy) calls the custom created report rather than the IFS Canned Report?  We are using IFS10.I am not talking about going to the report definition and just swapping in a new layout, that question has already been answered.

A collegue of mine accidentally placed their favorites folder within another folder, and it doesn’t seem to be a way to move it back outside and be a freestanding folder together with the rest of the folders. Basically the favorites folder has become a “sub-folder” of another folder. Is there a way to move it back outside and make it freestanding again, together with the rest of the folders in the “main” hierarchy?  Possibly I could just make a new folder outside, and drag the content into it, but in this case I would like to keep the “star” icon for favorites. I should probably mention that I haven’t been using the IFS app9 for too long, and are not 100% sure how all the function works yet. I’m adding a picture in hopes it will make the question easier to understand. Just imagine that the green highlighted folder is the “favorites” folder and I want it out of its main folder to be its own without being a subfolder anymore.

Hello Dear Community Users, I have a question regarding the following topic.I need to add the current operation state and the state of the operation before the current operation as parameters. When the parameter popup window is opened, 2 pieces of operation status (Oper Status Code) field are displayed. Prior an individual was able to open a report without installing IFS Business Reporter.  Now if they open a BR Report it is blank.  Once BR is installed they are able to review the data, so not sure if there is a configuration that I can not seem to find that possibly changed.Thanks so much for your assistance.

Filter criteria of BR generated different code for different users in same organization. So, it is difficult to share the report among the organization. Is this known bug, limitation or are we use it with wrong settings? Could some one help.Ex User A: In operation request comma separated list  User B:  In operation request semicolon separated list

Hi all,  I have a issue with the IFS business reporter in IFS10 UPD11. We moved from IFS 9 to IFS 10, When saving or publishing reports i got the error message below about folder patch is missing. How is the folder patch set in IFS business reporter?   

Hi I Is there anyone that can explain the manage report structure view in IFS business reporter? How to move reports, i only manage to move reports from unconnected to the folders but not the other way around. What happen then is that the reports are not accessible from order report function inside IFS. What is this used for?   BR Andreas

HiI have made a Profit & Loss report in IFS business reporter, only with actual figures.Now I have created a Budget version with some test budget data, which went OK, but I have problems getting them included in my P&L report. I want to make columns with Actual Data, Budget data, Deviation.But I can’t figure out how to include the budget figures in the P&L report. I can’t find any budget measure, no measure to select budget version etc.Are there no budget figures in Business reporter? ThanksSøren

Hello, Is there a way to pass multiple values in a given parameter in report designer (apps 10)?  For example, if we add ‘supplier id’ as a parameter and the user wanted to get three suppliers (2654, 1759, 1953), is there a way to pass all three values in a single parameter that the report could then parse out to get the results?  If yes, is there an out-of-the-box IFS report where I can see it working?Thanks,Tom Bowe

Hi,Did anyone face such error when performing Zoom In function in a BR report?The Oracle error "-1691" occurred when inserting report data into the report table - " unable to extend lob segment IFSAPP.SYS_LOB0000070775C00005$$ by 1024 in tablespace IFSAPP_LOB" That’s a quite simple report that queries the GL Project Transaction aggregating values by Code C for a specific project and specific period. If i try to zoom in it generally produce this errors, however it actually worked a few times with some lines. It seems that it works if only very few data are within the Zoom In (= only few lines).

Is it possible to create an ODBC connection to IFS Application from within Excel?

We want to remind the suppliers of the deliveries on a daily basis and to come to us as an information report on who the reminder was made to.We did this with 3rd party apps. But I know that IFS is capable enough to do this as well. So we don't want to depend on 3rd party apps.But in order to complete this, I have many questions and problems in my mind.How to send the report sent to each supplier to me as information (e.g attachments)? How do I attach the excel report to the sent emails? How do I send email body as html with "Operational Report -> Report Formatter". How do I send the email sender from our email address like supplier@xyz.com. Or how do I make the sender header "Reminder for Pending Purchase Part"? Can I insert graphics such as lobby elements into the email?We are using IFS 9.4. And we couldn't find answers to most of our questions from the community and the help document.Your every i
