Insights (Business Reporter and Analysis Models, EOI)

BR reports that have worked previously are erroring stating an error in design.  Having been advised that no changes have been made to the reports.  It was decided to restarted the BR Execution Server as NO BR reports have been processed since the 3rd June.   On clicking Stop the service does not stop and the following error appeared in the Log: An error occurred while trying to stop BR Execution Server.  Reported error is.  The service cannot accept control messages at this time.   How can I stop and restart the service?   The log files appear to go back to the 06/06/2021 and there are a few reports flagged as errored. Any prompts much appreciated.

Hi,I created two Custom Fields, one in the view PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_PART and the other in PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_NOPART. They are identical.I want to display the values in one custom field in the view RECEIPT_INFO_ALT, because in the menu ‘Register Arrivals’ both Part and No Part order lines are displayed. But I am not able to display the value from the custom fields in the menu ‘Register Arrivals’.Does someone know how to make this work? Whe are on apps10 update 7. Kind regards,Simon

Hello In our environment (https://ifspsc1-d01.demo.ifs.cloud/) the Power BI reports examples are not running. They worked fine the last days but now you receive a message, it takes to long?Other colleaguers in our DACH team have the same problem

I have two reports having barcode one is quick crystal report and other one is order report with crystal layout. In quick crystal report barcode is showing in ifs but in order report it is not showing in system. Please suggest solution. Thanks in advanceRegardsPardeep Saini     

I would like to create a report in Business Reporter that pulls together GL information plus customer order information but I can’t figure out how to create a relationship between these tables so that I can use them. How do you do this?

Hi, Trying to execute an Order report in IFS 7.5 but when clicked on report preview option, it throws error as there is no XML  data Code:            ORA-20000Location:     frmInfoServiceText:            formatReport_RequestFormatting: This report has no XML dataORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.REPORT_SYS"This occurs only in case of huge data. Is there any way to rectify this?

Hello,I’m looking for help with BA Report.The user uses order report form - report opens in Excel but without any data. There are no server session details on the  IFS Business Reporter tab (“Login” button - logged on to:).What should I check first? (I suppose some important BA parameters are missing).

Is there a way I can  generate customised reports in IFS ?For Example , A quick Report is required to monitor all Cost Types. 

After we installed the new version of BR 5.0.19.0 ,one particular user gets the error “IFS BR Upgrade Utility is not installed” while loading any report..This doesn’t stop the report from loading though..IFS BR Upgrade Utility is in fact installed and we upgraded the reports using that ..Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times,however no luck..Appreciate any info on this ...

We are using App 9.4. We could not visualize the line chart with comma separation. We tried many types of data sources. It did not affect anything. In the pie chart, everything works fine. We tried to_number, round while getting data but still the same. How can we visualize with comma separation?  

Hi all.  I’m new to using SSRS for Operational Reports.   In trying to develop a new report, while trying to preview the report in Visual Studio, I receive the error “Cannot set the command text for dataset ‘dsQuoteFromContract’”   Has anyone else received this error?  What did you do to correct it?  Thank you in advance.

Basics:Navigate to ‘Lobby Data Source Designer’ and click + then select ‘Query Builder’. Add a name for the data source. Finding a view:Under ‘Search Views’, search Instant invoice. All the columns and references related to instant invoice will list down.  Adding a column and a function:RMB on ‘Invoice No’ and select ‘Add to Columns’. Then the column will appear under the columns section. Perform the same steps for the function ‘Get_Address’. Then search the view ‘Ledger Item’ and add the column ‘Cleared Amount’ as well. Adding a where condition:RMB on ‘Invoice Id’ and select ‘Add to Criteria’. Select the operator as = and insert a selected invoice id. Adding a table join (Inner):Under the joins section, select the Left View as ‘Instant Invoice’ and Right view as ‘Ledger Item’. I can see different user in my company when they access the Reporting/Ad-Hoc Reporting they can see Explore Quick Reports. However, I can see others do not see the Explore Quick Reports options.When I try to see the data Source I found tbwQuicReportsListWhen I go to the Presentation Object Grants I can see the Permission Sets granting ‘Quick Reports’Permission Set FND_ENDUSER  However, all the user in my company have FND_ENDUSER, Why other can see Explore Quick Reports and why other cannot see Explore Quick Reports?How can I make Explore Quick Reports visible to other?

Hello,I am getting following error on starting the IFS BR Server. IFS BR Execution Server (IFS BRES) cannot run in parallel with IFS Business Reporter (IFS BR) on the same host. Please make sure to uninstall IFS BR before starting IFS BRES. IFS Business Reporter is not installed on the server. I have removed related any registry entry for the sameis there any advise RegardsPankaj

Does anybody know a reason why a Business Reporter report does not get processed by the BR Execution Server? Other BR reports do get processed by the BR Execution Server.The  BR report we have a problem with doesn’t even appear in the BR Execution Server logs? Any ideas.

Is there a way to copy an existing Business Reporter design and copy design sheet into another existing BR excel spreadsheet (two separate files)?

Upon login it throws the following error (Office 365)“This Add-in is installed for all users on this computer and can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator” The addin IFS Applications don’t show up in excel Can you help please ? Thanks Shibu

When we run our BR reports we are getting the following error message appearing on the IFS Business Reporter execution Server Console: Failed to start Excel Application , Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)). ,  Template rendering Exception:  Object reference not set to an instance of an object., . Error not related to report design.
