Hello AllLobby help again needed please. I’ve got a date field in the data and in the element I’d like to highlight dates that are passed today’s date. The system doesn’t like me putting in ‘TODAY’ as the value but it works when I add today’s actual date - any ideas on how to get this to work?Working when I added a dateNot working when I add ‘TODAY’ 

This regards the IFS Business Reporter add-in for Excel, specifically Excel in Office 2016, 64-bit. There is one specific BR report we run which I’m having these difficulties with, doesn’t seem to occur with any other report and, strangely enough, running this same report works when done on different computers. The error we’re having occurs when trying to “Run Report” once IFS is loaded. We pick the standard parameter values, press OK, then in the Report Execution Progress window, it seems to go through everything (goes through steps 1 - 3 , fetches data) then it crashes Excel, Excel restarts, and it opens to a blank worksheet. I’ve checked the event logs and found the following pop-up at about the same time it crashes, so this should correlate: Event Log Error #1Event Log Error #2I’ve tried many things, like running .net repairs and running as admin. I’ve officially run out of ideas, so I’ve come here, hoping I can be pointed in the right direction if not have the problem solved entir

Hi am new to IFS and I was wondering if any one knew where to find the IFS report designer, when i search for it in the navigations pane nothing comes up

Hi Everyone, We’ve recently upgraded to IFS Application 10 Update 8.  I was asked today to create a Business Report that generated the results in a pivot table format.  In IFS Application 8 with Business Analytics there was a button where I could choose a pivot table but I do not see this option in Business Reporter included in IFS Application 10 Update 8. Has the feature been removed?If so how do we generate a pivot table output using Business Reporter. Thank you,William Klotz

Is it possible to filter Reports on Project Invoice screen?Suppose I have 12 reports for project invoice screen and I want that for a given company it should only show me few reports that are related to that company. Any suggestions would be appreciated. !!

My company is wanting to set suppliers inactive and we know how to set the expiration date on the Purchase Tab > Misc Supplier Info sub-tab but the definition of the field says “The date after which details of the supplier are not to be retained. The expiration date only controls the creation of new transactions in the system for the supplier”. The first bit is what’s throwing us through a loop. Does this mean that IFS will purge the historical records of the supplier (e.g. purchase orders, invoices, etc.)?

Let me join the IFS community with this very first thread! My issue is how to e-mail report (invoice or order confirmation) but under attachment file name different than default (ReportID || ResultKey). I have tried with Report Rule where action is Set Property, then set DocumentFileName to WhateverIWantTo.pdf but it doesn’t seem to be a solution. Next i have prepared Rule with Action SendEmail, then set Attachment Name to new FileName, but it came to me with above mentioned standard filename. The same for Route To Connect action with Output File Name set to new one. But, it didn’t change file name either. I assume, the best way would be to define under which name report should be created, so in earlier stage than e-mail it. However I ran out of ideas how to achieve it. Hope that anyone here can help me.

Hello everyone, How can I give permission for this window?  I’m using IFS9 

In Company master How can i set Different customers using the same company name, use English or Japanese or other language ( Invoices,or other reports)in under screen  or other set up screen ? 

I’m setting up a BA report (or SSRS report), but users want to see invoice details and have a link that leads them back to the invoice screen (or opens up the PDF attached to the invoice). Is there a way to do this from a BA report or SSRS report? What does that link setup look like and what are the dependencies?

When I have a measure like “Price”, i don’t want this to sum up when in a BA or BR report, the summary happens based on repeater fields. If it was “Value” or “Qty” , Sum makes sense. Is this possible? Is there any way the Min or Max value (like in Oracle Grouping) can be displayed?

Hello - BR comes with a standard list of “information sources”, how do I add additional sources from within IFS?My current specific example: I am looking to add the source “Inventory Parts Unit Cost” from the Warehouse Management-Financial Control path…Have few other needs so this would be very helpful!Thanks

Hi There,   I am trying to create report through business reporter for GL balance analysis using the filter criteria as Cost center , ICP and Year but on row level my repeater and filter is working but at column level where I have given company and other parameter its not working . Hello, I created several quick report from crystal report from personal views. All is ok in Crystal. In IFS I have no data on the reports. I done grant acces to IFSPRINT and IFSSYS on all views, but I have the same issue. I found the problem, should come from the user control : For exemple : person_id NOT IN (SELECT person_id FROM customer_info_contact_public ) AND person_id NOT IN (SELECT person_id FROM supplier_info_contact_public ) If I use the _TABs, I have data, but it's not a good solution, because sometime I have to use IFS view and it's not very clean. I granted all acceses to sociéties and sites to IFSPRINT. Always the same issue. How could I resolved this problem, I can’t add WEB_UTIL_API, I have an error when I try. I don't know what I can more test. If anyone could help me, that’ll be very fine. Thanks in advance Regards
