Could someone please let me know if there is a possibility to make Survey Answers visible to a large group of employees in IFS?If it is possible, how can that be done? 

Hi,I’m trying to grant a user the ability to see the full list of employees under HR → Employee Management → Employees. When they search they get nothing, and when they populate they only see their own name in the list. I copied the permissions for this user from another user that can see the whole list so it’s not a permission issue. Does anyone know where I go to get this user the ability to see all employees? ThanksMike

I haven’t been able to find any work instructions for the actual app as well. Hi I'm trying to work out the best way to send an email event to notify mangers/supervisors to authorise expenses. I have tried to trigger from the existing event ‘Expense state change’, the streams Table, expense header table but I'm struggling to be able to define the intended target email address. (it works if i hard code an email address in).  i get the error message ‘To’ field is not specified.The stream works as intended We are using Apps 10 UPD 8 Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

May I ask how “absence plan” and “absence request” function in IFS Application??Are they different from each other??If possible pls give me the real example in HR activity. Rungtip M. 

Hello We are running into an issue where the Specific Sales Price for a particular employee on an activity has a specified price, but the project transaction isn't reflecting the price - it is showing the Specific Sales Price for the project. We've checked everything we can think of in the set up and don't see what's missing. It worked as expected in Apps 8 but hasn't worked as expected since the upgrade to Apps 10.Has anyone experienced this issue and been able to resolve it?Thank you,Joann  It seems to ignore the employee specific price no matter what combination of project, sub project, activity, report code and employee ID. 

Hello, I have an issue where associates forget to clock out of Time Clock at the end of their shift. This causes an issue with the Time Card and reporting. Is there a way to have IFS automatically clock a user out after a given period of time (ie - after 15 hours)?I believe this would also resolve the issue of users forgetting to log out of Shop Orders in Workbench as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I am facing strange issue for one the users, He's not able to confirm his timesheet on Fridays and needs to wait Saturday or Sunday to confirm. When doing it on Fridays, he gets a 'Partly Confirmed' status.  Is it related to some kind of setup ? ThanksAvinash

We have many processes in our organisation which have long approval forms which currently require either a wet signature or a digital Adobe Sign signature (which many people have been resistant to adopting so far...).The forms have varying level of approvals and escalations etc.We are looking to see whether there is any built-in mechanism in IFS we could leverage to replace these cumbersome forms.Some examples:CAPEX applications Labour hire applications Authority for Contract Execution

Pls advice me how to enter leave quota in APP10. I used to use Balance start value in 7.5. But it seem that APP10 using different way to enter leave quota. For example in my company we have 30 days for sick leave, and 13 day for annual leave. I want to know which screen to enter this quota.Thanks for your help

IFS 10 UPD8:  We’ve created many RMB’s without issue (Create Window with Transfer).  However, jumping to “Time Registration” has challenged us.  Asking if this is possible?  Our Custom Menu settings:Window:  tbwJtTaskReportTime Destination: frmTimmanReg Presentation Object:  frmTimmanReg, frmTimmanRegUpper  (tried both) Key Trans:  (Employee_ID = Emp_NO) and (COMPANY = COMPANY_ID) and (TRANSACTION_DATE=ACCOUNT_DATE)Our error:  “Using ‘cDataTransfer’:  Requested item does not exist”.  Then we get an invalid date format notice.We can work-a-round with a “Create Window” and then query but it would be nice…….  Help/advice greatly appreciated - Cheers

We are experiencing problems with the IFS Time Clock Client.   A few of our users have reported seeing the following message when they went to the Time Clock Terminal   System Exception Error object reference not set to an instance of an object Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.PLSQL.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReader.get_count() At Ifs.Fnd.AccessProvider.PLSQL.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReader.FndPLSQLSelectCommandReaderEnumerator.System.Collections.IEnumerator.MoveNext() We stopped Automatic Windows Updates months ago as we thought that this could have been the issue.   Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hi,I need to disable showing the middle name of my employees in all windows. This was the behaviour in APP8, but in APP10 the middle name appears in all windows. How do I do that?TIA

Payroll > Payroll Calculation > Payroll When trying to process the payroll user received the error message: The server transaction has expired.  Please redo your changes. After reporting it to me I asked her to retry and it went through without any issues.Has anyone come across this before and if so what was the issue? Thank you. John

Hi, I've got a question with regard to IFS Aurena. In the time registration UI, in the side bar of the list of employees, the employee's name is not visible on each list item. However, an icon is visible denoting the initials of the employee. Is the is the default behaviour? How can I make the names visible? I also noticed the same behaviour in other UIs such as expenses to manage. That's why I'm uncertain if I have set up the system correctly. Can you give some hints to fix this?

Hi, we would like to be able to enter time cards on behalf of other employees.We know already how to do it if we are in the same project team. But how to do the same if we are NOT in the same project team? We systematically get this error message: “You are not allowed to enter Project Time/Cost Reporting for this Employee of company XXX.I guess there could be a way via Access Attribute, but i can’t figure out what should be changed to grant this right.Thanks to help if you have any clue ...
