Application Configuration Package Export Containing Aurena Page Group

I created a custom Aurena Page and added it to an Application Configuration Package. In IEE on the Application Configuration Package screen one of the items in the ACP is of type Aurena Page Group. When I right click on the Aurena Page Group item and select Export Item I get an error message stating: “Error occurred in XML processing”. If I View Detail on the error I see: “Failed executing statement (ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processingORA-00904: "T"."NAVIGATOR_VISIBLE": invalid identifierORA-06512: at line 15ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 237ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLGEN", line 271”If I remove the Aurena Page Group item from the Application Configuration Package then the Export function for the ACP works. While the Aurena Page Group is an item in the ACP the export fails. I am on IFS 10 update 9. Any thoughts?

Create New Background Job

Hello,A new fellow here with some questions. Your help will be highly appreciated please:1- I am new to creating Background Jobs. The task on hand is to convert all ‘Database Processes’, that are running successfully currently, into Schedule Database Tasks. IFS8.Is there any documentation you can point me to it so i can get started. Scheduling Task looks easy but I am not sure how to connect it to Background Jobs. how can i make this highlighted hyperlink working for my new tasks that i would like to create2- Do we have some fellows around who automated the process of Activating and Deactivating Scheduled Tasks. we have several tasks, about 20, that we manually inactivate in the end of December and Reactivate all of them one by one on our first working day in January. Sounds tedious to me. 3- I see ‘Custom’ in Schedule database task screen. we are not using it at the moment. Is there a formula i can use to Schedule a task to run all 5 days of week every hour from 8AM to 6PM. At present

E-Invoice Invoice Attachment MimeType

Hi, Can someone please provide list of valid mimetypes for the E-Invoice Invoice Attachment. The e-invoice is working fine of PDF attachments, but I cannot get it to work for JPEG or PNG. These are defined in the Document Management base data. Would also like to know the correct values for Document Type. Regards,Kevin

Automatic backup / export of profiles, permission sets, etc?

Hi, Has anyone discovered a way to schedule automatic backup/exports of permission sets, profiles, and/or anything else that might be relevant in Apps 10? I’ve been doing it manually, and it’d be really useful if we could find some sort of automated process for this.

How can we enable aurena bot? When trying to use it we get a message saying IFS aurena bot is not enabled for our environment. I heard that it require a Microsoft subscription to a AI, but where do we set it all up in IFS?

Postpone line close until background job is done

Hi,I often make changes to objects with background jobs.Some times for some reason a job takes a long time from posted to executed.In the mean time the line is closed, and the job fails.Do you have a good solution for that?BR Kresten

Error on exporting Quick report results to Excel

A user is getting an error when exporting the results of a quick report to Excel. The error is “Column COMPANY is not part of”. “COMPANY” is one of the parameters that is passed in when the report is executed.The query executes and returns the resultset to the Quick report screen but the error appears on the right-click “Output-Save As” and “All rows”There are other parameters to be entered to the report also. I have ran the report with the same parameters the user is entering on my own PC while logged in to IFS under his credentials and I am not getting the error. IEE for IFS 7.5 is very slow for one user

We still have an instance of IFS 7.5 SP6 where I have one user who is experiencing extreme slowness with IEE in the production instance. It can take 30-60 seconds to merely open a screen or to open a query after the screen opens. He does not have the problem in the test environments. No other users are experiencing any slowness in the production instance. It seems to be limited to just the one user.I have had him clear the IFS cache on his desktop (c:\Users\id\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0), but after the individual modules load, they continue to run very slow. It is not limited to a particular module either. I am looking for suggestions on what to look for, or how this could be fixed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Even in later versions of IFS using IEE.

Bizapi not showing in Soap Gataway

Hello, The situation is: There are 2 IFS 8 systems running. I don’t know the level of service packs, but i don’t think it would change something about it. The Problem is: I gave a development proposal depending on the Soap Gateway BizApi List at system A (The list under http://domain.port/fndext/soapgateway) suggesting the use of the handle InboundDistributionTransactions. Now the development should take place at System B and there’s no handler for the InboundDistributionTransactions. Is the list that the soapgateway is providing depending on the configured routing addresses ? Or is there any other step necessary to “activate” this handler / BizApis ? Thanks Michael

Apps9 Migration file path error

I have added a new file path but when I try to use with IFSAPP am seeing the following error message:Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.security.AccessControlException: the Permission (java.io.FilePermission \\vm-ftp-02\HORIZON$\TEST\Outgoing\Customer read) has not been granted to IFSAPP. The PL/SQL to grant this is dbms_java.grant_permission( 'IFSAPP', 'SYS:java.io.FilePermission', '\\vm-ftp-02\HORIZON$\TEST\Outgoing\Customer', 'read' ) Using SYS, I have run the PL/SQL as the message suggests but its still not working - any ideas?

Error 502 - Bad Gateway

Hello,In IFS V9 UPD10, since we have activated the SSL, sometimes we have error message :Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Unexpected error while calling server method AccessPlsql/Invoke ---> Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Error occurred while calling https://ifsaddress/fndext/clientgateway/AccessPlsql/Invoke?frmProjectInfoNew. Please contact your system administrator.Error 502 - Bad Gateway After click on Close in the message of error window, IFS seems ok, we can still to work, but it's not It’s same case when a quick report (with Crystal Report) is too long to displaythe message is : Error 504 - Gateway Time-out Someone could help me to solved this problem ?Thanks in advanceRegardsOlivier

Failure of web server bridge

“Failure of Web Server BridgeNo backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent.” Has anyone encountered this message? The environment comes up and stays up for a brief amount of time (anything from 5 mins to 45 mins) before it fails with the error above when trying to connect.Nothing obvious in server monitoring tools. This is a test environment which isn’t heavily stressed. RegardsChris

TOP-N Function in list element

Hi allI am strugeling with the TOP-N Function. I have a list with the quantity of some product families orderd by the highest quantity. The hole list is also filtered to different sites, where the parts are available. Sometimes there are mor then 10 product families per site. But I want to show only the 10 product families with the highest quantity. In a bar Chart or a pie Chart it’s possible to enable the TOP-N function. I have tried to get the wanted result in PL/SQL. I’ve found two ways to set the TOP-N function correctly in PL/SQL. Both of them won’t work in IFS.In the first Option i’ve put the hole query in a SUBSELECT and set a filter on the ROWNUM. In the Datasourcedesigner I havn’t a Option, to enter a SUBSELECT over the hole query.In the second Option i’ve use the FETCH command at the end of the query. But I can’t add this command in IFS.Are there any other Solutions, to select only the 10 product families with the highest quantity and display the hole result in a list? Thanks

Hi,I would like to receive a price list from a supplier.I have a BizApi for that, but I think I need to receive XML as a message.Is it possible to get that incoming message from an e-mail? SSRS Extension DLLs not configured as WIA for Operational Reports

when SSRS Extension is installed for Database Authentication or LDAP; The IFS SSRS DLL for IFS Operational and Quick Report are installed. Created New SSRS Site installed IFS SSRS Extension using WIA authentication option. The IFS SSRS Extenstion DLLs for Quick Report was installed and NO dlls was configured for Operational Report. No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service

Apps9: How can i add a new file path to a mig job??

I am creating a scheduled MIG job, which I want to output onto a particular server folder. This doesn't appear to work as I expect and I have noticed that you can perform an LOV lookup and I have some file paths already set.How can I add a new one to that list? I cant seem to find the screen in IFS to do this?

Question about Mail Recipient as Link

When user is in Business Opportunity 120 and carries out RMB > Send To > Mail Recipient as Link The email created has the Subject Business Opportunity 120 - 120. Would it be possible to change this so that instead of the 2nd 120 (after the - ) the Description is used instead e.g. if Description = Supply Pipes the email subject would display: Business Opportunity 120 - Supply Pipes Thank you.
