Using IFS 10, Update 6. We used the Estimate screen to develop product estimated material cost.  Each component has a direct material cost per unit.  We used Transfer Estimate Products to generate Inventory Parts.  Is there a standard method in IFS to set the estimated material cost for purchased Inventory Parts equal to the direct material cost per unit from the product Estimate?  If not, how do you do it? (Circled field is what we are trying to populate via the Estimate screen) Thank you in advance for your responses! Marty

Hi,Does anyone know if Apps 8 is  OLE DB compliant? There's an API within another programme we used which is a standardised MicroSoft OLE DB API. We would like to know if its possible to link to IFS via that API?Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Many thanksHayley 

Data synchronization related FNDRPL component is installed in an environment. Data Synchronization functionality is not yet used, but hoping to use it in future.Since FNDRPL component is installed, custom objects related database packages contains data sync related code segments and any custom objects related data manipulation will create data sync related messages in repl_buffer_tab.   As message queues are not setup, these messages will be there in the repl_buffer_tab consuming excessive LOB space. They will not get cleaned up as the message status is ‘Released’.Please let me know whether there is a configuration to disable data synchronization to prevent above mentioned situation. 

HiI have a scenario where a Customer wants the Purchasing Dept to be able to add Supplier Header information, but only the Accounts Dept to be able to add the associated Invoicing Information.In Enterprise Explorer, this was possible as we could grant presentation objects for the header to one permission set for Purchasing Dept but not the Invoice tab.  The permission set for the Accounts department would contain presentation objects for both.Both of these LUs are now linked to the projection SupplierHandling.  Does this mean that it isnt possible to create permissions in this way and we cannot grant RW access to Supplier Header information but not Invoicing?  This seems like a bit of an oversight.ThanksGareth

ifsapp/ or ifssys user can not alter user passwords due to below error. I want to create a new FILE_READER in IFS Connect, Connector Readers.  I would like the “IN_DIRECTORY” to be on a different server than the application server.  What is the proper syntax for the path and what permissions need to be added to the new “IN” folder?

Hi All, We can use SQL expressions in IFS EE advanced option Seems this type of search expression is invalid in Aurena and it doesn’t like the SQL part. Is there a way to use SQL expressions in Aurena queries? 

Hello,We have like many other customers developed our own Oracle objects including PL/SQL APIs to be used alongside the IFS Customisations.For example, we have a custom event that fires on a specific action which then submits a background job to call and process code within a custom PL/SQL API. If we need to perform a modify or creation of data within IFS, then we ensure to use the standard IFS API calls wrapped within the custom API.No one seems to be able to give clear guidance on what is and isn’t allowed with regards to the IFS licensing options. For example, if we were to use ASFU license from IFS can we continue to utilise our custom Oracle objects that have been developed over the years?We understand if we were to go down the Oracle Enterprise route, all restrictions are effectively removed.Please can advise be provided Thanks in advanceShaun

Hi, We have a scheduled migration job that suddenly stopped working about 6 months ago. No changes to the system were made.It works fine when you run it as an on-demand job. Error message is: This background job was set to state Error because the executing Oracle process was killed. ( Detected by cleanup process at 2021-01-24-06.51.56 )Any thoughts? We are on Apps 9. Thanks as always

Hiwhen we receive and IFS build spec it mentions that the SGA/PGA value should be set as a standard. We believe this is set in the Oracle template. One of our customers had an issue where IFS crashed out. Hi,I’m creating a label (ZPL) using the script report plugin using the SHOP_ORDER_PICK_LISTS_REP view. The xml data looks fine and the label prints with data but unfortunately it prints 30 times.I tried turning the repeat switch off which does only print one but with the data missing.Attached is my rpl file - can anyone spot what I might be doing wrong?Many thanks.

(Like on RMB we used to do in IEE/Custom Menu)I did following stepsIn Aurena open New Projection Configuration.  Created New Projection Configuration Added Entity Added custom action PublishedNow open the screen where it is to be added. Opened page designerWent to command group. add new/Execute action.Now on action i dont see the action i created using New projection configuration.Can some one suggest what i am missing here. would be a great helpRegardsPankaj 

Hi,   I’m getting following error while trying to import a SSL certificate to IFS Application.   have anyone has any inside on how to solve this issue.  

We can authenticate with Aurena and AurenaB2B without issue using ADFS (with single sign-on)…We cannot complete the logon to the Enterprise Explorer Native app…We use a number of alternate UPN suffixes in our Active Directory.  IEE will only authenticate users that have the base, default, domain name assigned in their UPN.  for example… the base domain is “@basedomain.net”, but my account uses “@publicdomain.com”.  when I authenticate via ADFS, using MyAccount@publicdomain.com, I receive an error from IEE “The user specified in the provided id token does not appear to be an active user in the system.”   If I authenticate with a user account that is assigned the base domain, like otheruser@basedomain.net, they can get right in…Thought I would reach out to the community to see if anyone has ran into this before as we are not seeing a quick response from our Integration partner...

Hi,Is it possible to write cursor concept in advance search of IFS 9 Application,I guess it is limited to SQL queries only.  Note:I have a subquery which returns more than 2 values and I need to display it, it can be done using cursor concept.

Why do I receive this message when trying to clicking on the application link for IFS hosted cloud Apps10  environment:It mostly happens when trying to go to the admin screen:e.g. https://<customer>-<environment>.ifs.cloud:48080/admin but also happens to some users on the main link https://<customer>-<environment>.ifs.cloud:48080 

Hello, I have a problem that for some users bookmarks that are set for their profile disappear. This happens usually when user has its own bookmarks - only his bookmarks remain. When we reset his profile to restore default bookmarks, his bookmarks disappear. Has anyone had such a problem? How can we prevent bookmarks from disappearing? Is there any other way to restore them than resetting the profile?Best regardsAdam
