Payables user has notice that they can go to the a manual supplier invoice screen, hit the “+” to enter a new invoice and enter the PO number, but the system is not warning that the po has been cancelled.  Is there a way to prevent the user from entering the invoice or at least warn the user that the purchase order and lines are cancelled.

Is it possible to connect a work time calendar when creating Customer Reminder Proposals?This is for using working days instead of Accepted Delay in the Reminder Template.

Hi I have had a request by IFS Support about a new supplier payment format for SEB Bank.I was told that I could use any of the system defined payment formats and customize it, if the system defined payment format does not match according to their requirement.I have tried to copy a format and change it, but I did not get all the way. Does anyone have information they can share on setting up a new payment format with an outgoing File Template. We are running IFS Apps10 UPD8.I have a request to support a Nacha 94 IAT file format to do supplier payments.  Does anyone know if IFS has this file format?I tried searching the IFS online help for Nacha but didn’t find anything.

Currently pulling together supplier statements of open invoices, however when we try and pull in invoice status we are losing any open payments on account because of the rowstate missing Is there any report that gives us a list of all open/unmatched supplier statements that are on accounts?

Is there any way of paying a proforma invoice for a deposit and leaving that payment on account and marking it to not be included in any future payment runs?

We are getting “Balancing invoice amount postings after rounding - Shortage/Excess Found” general ledger entries that are causing Received Not Yet Invoiced and Purchase Price Variance to be wrong.  Sometimes these entries reverse, although in different months, and sometimes they don’t.  I have not been able to determine what causes this entry.  Has anyone else come across this?  It did not start occurring until we moved to Apps10.

When Using Mixed Payment for Supplier payment , System allows  to pay more than invoice value. For example if PO value and Invoice value is 100 USD , in the mixed payment window through that invoice user can pay supplier 120 USD. Is there any standard configuration to block it??

Our invoice routing rules are setup as routing to groups, not individuals. Up until December, users had no issues viewing invoices in their queue. However, we’ve now noticed that they can no longer view invoices in their queue if the invoice is automatically routed to the group. They can view the invoice if it was forwarded directly to their user ID. Has something changed recently with the mobile app?

The IRS has added an new tax form 1099-NEC.  We need to get this new form and understand how to set up IFS to get supplier income to report on the correct for and in the correct box.  Current functionality only allows for one 1099-Misc form. Going forward we will need 2 forms, 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. Has anyone us run into this yet? This would be for Apps 9 and Apps 10 as we are planning to finish our upgrade soon.

Having a look at at the automatic account matching, but when testing it my background job is returning a warning. How does this process work, how do I know whether to select invoice or PO nummber to match when it is GL entries that have neither?

Is there any good processes available to show AP KPIs? Like number/value of invoices processed/overdue/not cleared etc?

Since recently one of our major customers, have started raising RCTIs and we need to match them with the project invoices we raise in IFS. So far I could not find a functionality in IFS that caters to Recipient Created Tax Invoicing (RCTI). Am I missing something? If it’s currently not available in IFS, is it something that would be considered in the future? Have there been any requests from other customers to have RCTI functionality or anyone here in the forum having such requirement?TIA

We use APPS 10 and IEE.  I am a new IEE admin.   I have a user that is requesting to have a couple of additional columns added to a view.  In this case it is the Fixed Asset “Object Balances Analysis” view.  The Columns exist in 2 other views:  “Depreciation Method” and the Fixed Assets > Object “Estimated Life” column.   The IEE Admin training did not cover this.  I am looking for any good information on adding data (columns) that already exist to other views.Thank you kindly for any info you can provide.

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD8 (planning to go to UPD10).  I’m looking for some ideas on how we can get IFS to support both the Canadian EFT format and the US ACH format for supplier paymentsBackground - we are in Canada.  And the Canadian EFT file format does not match the US ACH format.  The 2 do the same thing, but have different file formats. When we implemented IFS Apps8 SP1+, we needed a way to build the bank’s EFT file to upload to their site for electronic payments.  At that time, the recommendation was to write logic to redirect the ACH selection to our defined EFT format.  We uplifted that code to Apps10 when we upgrade.Fast forward - our finance department now has a need to do both EFT and ACH payments.  Our current solution is an either/or (either EFT or ACH, not both).I’m looking for suggestions on how we could design a solution so thatWe can revert to standard IFS ACH We can continue to create EFT payment files

HelloWhen you try to Cancel and Create an existing Manual Supplier Invoice which is in PostedAuth status there’s a message that appears informing the user that they are not authorized to cancel the invoice.It seems that in statuses other than PostAuth that the Cancel and Create functionality is available.Can anyone confirm that this is the case?ThanksAlan
