When we set up a customer, we assign a Main Representative to the customer.  This representative had visibility only to his customers using the CRM functionality.When we receive an order from the customer, it is entered through our customer service group.  The customer service person who enters the order is set as the Main Representative for this particular order.This means that the Main Representative for the customer has no visibility to the customer’s orders.Is there a way to automatically add the Main Representative on the customer record to any customer orders created for that customer, so they will be able to see the order?

I am unable to see requisitioned shop order orders as a load source in the Machine Load per Work Center visualizer.  Yes, the Load Source option is toggled on.  I assume there’s a setting located somewhere else that is hiding these.  Any advice on where to look to ensure everything is properly set up to show these in the visualizer?  

Dear all,does anybody know how to ship free goods thru a customer order without generating an invoice?We can of course block the invoice but the customer order will not be closed 😐Thanks for your help 😀

We are migrating inventory balances for a about 45000 records in an IFS 10 environment.The majority of these uses  handling units. The creation of the records with handling units are extremely slow. It jeopardizes our go live. Has anybody encountered the same issue? Did you find a way around it? Any input is highly appreciated. B.RPer

Do we have a functionality in IFS to distribute the shipment charges (Freight) to customer orders for CO invoicing?In our case freight is calculated by a  3rd party tool. 

Hello we have a customer is Mexico that would like ourselves to do VMI with them (we are UK based). Does anyone do this within Apps9? If yes how do they do it? We have looked at Consignment Stock but not sure that this would help in controlling the warehouse charges we will incur for stock in Mexico and clearly seeing transit stock also.Thanks in advance for any insights, Sarah

Is there a way to prevent us from shipping more than what is on the order?

Hi , we use Apps 10 and just done upd 14.IFS is allowing to add  no part lines in purchase order change order without asking for purchase groupand we can save and update purchase order without any purchase group.I remember, it should give error when we update purchase order saying line added without any purchase group . any inputs on this. Thanks you.  

Hello,I hope someone can help me 😊.This is the scenario :When a CO is for the customer XXX, I would like to create a “Purchase Order Direct” , and when it’s a YYY or ZZZ customer i would like to create an “Invent Order” . ( It’s the same sales part )Can we drive the Sourcing rules automatically du to the customer ?These are the setting I made :Create a sourcing rule : With highest rank as Sourcing Objective.Create a sourcing rules per Customer and Sales Part   And this is the error when I create a line on CO : There is also the set up “Sales Part” Sourcing Option, but i’m not interested because it will always give the same choice for every customer. Did someone  know how to setting this properly ?Regards,Nicolas.

I’m creating this post on behalf of a customer which has the following query. Is there a way to set up a Delivery Route for every two weeks for Customer Orders? If we have a Customer that has a Wednesday 4/13 delivery for tomorrow then skips next week with the next delivery on 4/27.  I have tried the Number of Days Before Route Day but that would not allow my 4/13 date.Would we have to set up a Calendar specific for these Customers?

Hi , We have 100 migrated purchase orders  in planned state,we have Released in mass by switching off authorization as this has been approved in old system.after Release , we have activated authorization so that new PO should have authorization. Now system is asking for authorization during the receipt  of migrated PO,any way to fix this ..?Thanks in advance.

 Hi Team, In Customer Order, there’s a Project Reference.   Here, I have entered a Rental Order line.  There is no Project quantity shown in reservation and I’m unable to move company rental assets to Project inventory as well.  Please let me know how I can reserve the rental for Project in Customer Order.

Hi , I have one customer order which have one non-inventory sales part.this is intercompany order and want to deliver this without shipment.Due to data error , shipment id not generated automatically when order is released and when we create new shipment manually, we are not able to connect ( system not showing this in available order line to connect and we have done all matching but still it not showing in available lines)  How to deliver non-sales part which out shipment process..?quick order flow handling also not working for non- inventory sales part

Hello,  Does anyone know what the below error means? We got it when trying to manual issue stock in IFS.   ORA-20110: ShopMaterialAlloc.NORESERVEMATERIAL2: Insufficient reservations for the component part 7000069 on the order 50265. The reserve/issue method for the component is Manual and it has to be manually reserved or issued before reporting the connected operation 1000.

Hi,Since the update from APPS10 UPD8 to APPS10 UPD13 customer order lines of released customer orders are reserved and picking lists are created and printed, although the checkbox "Release for Mtrl Planning" is unchecked.In APPS10 UPD8 these customer order lines were ignored, when pick lists are created.Does anybody know, how to restore the original behavior? Thanks and best regards,Madeleine

HiCreating parts with assortments seem to create a new node to the assortment for each part. Does anybody know what is the point in that? Just makes the whole assortment structure confusing. Matti
