Search Custom field response very slow

Can you provide some more information? Where are you searching? What type of custom field is it? Which version of the application? 

Field type is read only and IFS APP10 upd13.

Searching on read only custom fields in LU’s with large amount of total records is not recommended.

Technically the read only custom fields are function calls and searching on functions in WHERE statements is not good and can lead to full table scans.

If you are using IEE client I instead recommend using an advanced search where you write the condition without any function calls.

If using IFS Cloud I suggest creating a customization if you really needs to search for it or some other way with lobbies etc.
