Hi,I have a requirement in Aurena to add an action which will output an Excel file with sheets.Action should be added to the parent and when clicked all the child elements should be added as sheets of that excel file and excel file should be downloaded.Any suggestions? 🤔ThanksRegards,Tharindu

Hi - I have  a report rule created on Apps 10 upd 9, which creates a document revision from the report and create an attachment - in my example for Sales Quotation.But for some reason the attached document is not visible in the attachment from the object itselfHave anyone experienced this before?attaching some examplesMy key refs on the report rule are:  QUOTATION_NO=[@ORDER_QUOTATION_REP/QUOTATION_NO]I have a sneaky feeling it is relating to the key refs, but I am not sure how to correct it, and in the document object table, it seems to find the quotation alright..(ref attachments)

Hello, How does IFS10 installer validates the SSL certificate at the new installation/ reconfiguration of the MWS?   One of the installations I have done failed at the reconfiguration after a delivery installation and the certificate validation step failed with below error. And note this environment was using the same certificate before the reconfiguration without any issue. Certificate valid till 2021 If I enter a wrong password it detects it as a wrong password and outputs a more informational message. Internet access for this server has been disabled from the beginning there is no way the certification validation can be done (or has happened earlier) over the internet at the moment.  Then I looked in to the firewall logs and found server is trying to communicate using TCP port 135 time to time but there’s not

Within PSO mapping, we can see the home location of the technician as an icon on the map. Is there a way to get it to show the latest location (latest GPS fix) on the map as a large visible icon, instead of showing the home location?  

Trying to add more options to the screen heretried updating this via the Lists but whatever option we add or remove, doesn't affect those optionsIs this screen modifiable? PSO 6.7030

somebody know if on IFS, I can change the form or structure of the bill of lading beacuse i just appear like this and there isn’t any information. We create one manually from excel but we would like to create a bill of lading from IFS. when I am on shipment module and i want to print it just appear like the picture that i attached. somebody have an idea to create a bill of lading with more description of the parts or customer? 

Hello all,I have a report rule in Apps10 Upd 8 which creates a document revision from the report and creates an attachment - in my case for Customer Invoice:The document class used in my report rule is setup to store the file in an FTP server: When I run the report, the document revision is created and attached to the customer invoice, as per expectations.However, the PDF file is not transferred to the FTP server. Then, it is impossible to open the file from the document revision.I have checked the logs on the FTP server, but no connection is opened, and there is no trace of file transfer.Note: if I change the EDM repository type for this document class from FTP

Hello All,is it possible to hide lobby element for one user and show it for other on same lobby? We have one lobby for 4 users and I’d like to put 4 lobby elements and display only one for specific user. I tried to hide it by specific rights but it not working properly. Best regardsBartosz.  

Our company is utilizing IFS9.Our company utilizes external software to help to combine several documents into one PDF format. The software name is (KOFAX).After we have one file with the PDF format, the user attaches the PDF file into the (IFS) Document Revision.However, after we try to open the file from IFS, some fields disappear from the document. In other words, some data from the PDF file attached in IFS  miss information.The file before be attach to IFS. It looks normal with the entire data. The problem happens after the file is attached to IFS.Any Idea what is happening?

Hi, I noticed there are several lines in the Work Task Posting Analysis window with the following error:The period 4 is closed in Company 200I would appreciate help to determine what is causing this error.  Period 4 is a future period, so there should be no transactions for period 4 yet but I’d like to know what/why this is happening so we can prevent it from happening again.  

Does anyone have a permission set designed for TimeTracker 2.1.XX? We have 2.1.10 installed on our Apps9 on-prem instance, and there is no “Generate Role Script”. I have an older permission set from 1.4.0, but it is missing a lot. I was able to glean some of the missing information from errors in the log, and now I can login to TimeTracker on my android phone, but get an error that I’m missing “basic data “ and I can’t do anything. It isn’t missing any basic data, as when I login as the app owner, there is no such error. Enclosed is a screen shot of the config screen showing that there is no option to generate the permission set.

We use eforms as part of surveys to capture data from field techs in the field.Recently we began seeing delays in mobile syncing and I am wondering if there are limitations to the use of eforms on mobile.We use multiple pools and can have up 4000 work orders in various pools along with objects syncing to the mobile devices.We use a Windows Surface Pro 8G RAM Windows10 mobile device. I tried to find how the TAS on Prem works with the MWS and DB and cannot find any specifics as to properly tuning or sizing recommendations.We are on APPS9 UD14, mwo 2.8.0.215 I appreciate your feedback.Thank you

We have created a customer service contract with an invoice rule to add a 4% markup on the items we’re buying for a customer.  We would like to know if there is a way to configure the service contract and /or work orders so that if we’re shipping a specific sales part to a customer there is no markup.ie  Sales Line 290 below should have 0% markup instead of the default 4% derived from the Invoice Rule on the Customer Service Contract 

I need to make the technician signature as mandetory in debrief workflow summary screen, without which task wouldn't be completed. Can anybody suggest on this?

We are currently on Apps8 going to Apps10. The workflow I describe below works in Apps 8, but not in Apps 10.Our installation workflow begins with a Customer Order (Sales) and ends with a Work Order (non-billed Service).The Customer Order is created and completed for one Site and the related Work Order is created and completed in a different Site. Also, Customer Order has one Customer Number (distributor) and Work Order has a different Customer Number (end-user). IFS 10 is requiring a matching Site and Customer Number between Customer Order and Work Order, but this won’t work for our business practices.Any suggestions or ideas? Open to IEE10 and Aurena for possible solutions.Thanks.

Hi, I’m trying to use the IFS Outlook Add-in, but every time I try to add an email, I get the error Could not find local file.  Any ideas of what would be causing this? 

We create work orders for re-active jobs and enter the customers purchase order number in the ‘Reference No’ field under the CO Information tab.To invoice, we create an entry in the Postings tab and Transfer it to Customer Order. When we create the customer order from this posting line, we wish the value in the ‘Reference No’ field of the work order, to automatically populate the ‘Customer PO No’ field on the header section of the Customer Order.I have created a custom event to fire once the customer order is created, however I am unsure if a custom action (Execute Online SQL) could be used to add this value to the field. Can anyone advise if this is possible and point me towards the correct syntax for such an event?

When logon in the app, the temporary picture folder is deleted, independent if it was uploaded to database, the picture is lost.  

Hello,When we create a Shift template and attached it to a resource in Planning section (ARP) and as the next step we go to Resource Planner > Generate Shifts , the side panel open up and it gives you an option to select the shift templates again.Could someone explain why it is not taking the previously attached Shift Template via Resources is not enough?
