Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

Recently we noticed our image attachments connected to Work task steps from mWO Service 10 app are not saving properly. We can see the entry in the attachment pane, but when tried to view it gives an error saying the entity instance not found.In the mobile device the attachment still says ‘Waiting for Upload’.In the device log we found below entry and therefore suspect this is somehow related to document size.Exception":"<Ifs.Cloud.Client.Exceptions.CloudException><Message>ORA-20105: Max document size exceeded.<\/Message>However a picture we tried to attach is 4MB whereas the Doc Class we use allows 8MB.Is there anything else we should look at? 

We are noticing some MWO failed transaction stating; ‘ORA-20110: An error occurred when checking object-controlled document access via method WORK_ORDER_API.Get_Document_Access. Contact your system administrator to verify the methods defined under 'Object Types for Access Control'. It seems to be when an engineer creates a work order on his device. There appears to be no pattern between either engineer our customer site. Has anyone else seen this error before and any ideas what the most likely causes are?  

When the work is transferred to the mobile, the address is synced to the my work screen and it is possible to open it externally in maps by clicking the map icon by the address. The WO is connected to an Object which has a location as shown below. But the addresses are not shown ‘Show in Map’. It is always empty. The embedded maps parameter in Application Parameter window is enabled.How can I get the addresses to appear on the show in map screen?

Hi Community, Our mWO users are experiencing this failed transactions ERRINV: ORA-20110: PscContrProduct.OBJCTIDREQUIRED: Object ID is mandatory when entering Service Contract Line information"  because of the scrapped Functional Object in the system.  Please kindly advise on how to remove the scrapped functional Object from the Object ID list in MWO so that users can avoid this crazy failed transactions that is causing frustrations for users? your help is appreciated. Thanks,Mesh 

Hi All, In the APPS10 versions we had ‘Report In Work Order’ and where you had the RMB option to ‘Print Serviceability tag’. In the cloud version, ‘Report In Work Order’ seems to have been renamed to ‘Conclude Work Order’, but I can’t seem to find the ‘Print Serviceability Tag’ anymore. Anybody have a printscreen where I can find it? Or was it removed? Best RegardsRoel  

Hi All,Is it possible to remove authorisation for a Work Order which has already been authorised. Getting error 'Not allowed to remove authorised or transferred codings' in IFSV 7.5  application instance. We have checked in Single page report in Work order but there is only option to authorise any WO but not to remove the already authorized WO.Any suggestions would be helpful to further deep dive into this.  Regards,Venkat

Im trying to set up an event i IFS App9 to send an email to the person whom added the resource to a work order. I can trigger the event when a new resource has been added in the table RESOURCE_BOOKING_INFO_TAB. But im also trying to get the person whom added the resource. I can activate the history log to get the correct person but is it possible to include the history log so I can send the email to that person?

Hi Everyone.Is there an option in MWO Maintenance Aurena App to put the same functionality of the mWorkOrder app? Tried to find a solution in App Designer but I couldn’t. I’m using UPD12 latest version of the app> 10.14.1362.0 The buttons inside the work task step to navegate from one to another. Please see prints bellow? E.g.: In new app, I need to enter into the step, write a remark, set as Done, go back to the list and enter into the second step and so on.  From UPD8 I think, Rnd has created two buttons Previous and Next inside the step to avoid do that.Tks a lot.mWorkOrder app: MWO Maintenance.

A customer has experienced performance issue in 'receive shop order' function for specific shop orders. However, if WADACO process is used in Android hand-held devices, this performance delay has resulted in a connection timeout. So as a workaround, is it possible to increase the timeout in TAS?

In MaintEngApp, I am trying to create a planned return line in mobile for a part that is currently in InFacility.  When I go to my part selector, I am unable to see that part # I am looking for.  Looking at the InventoryPart Entity I notice that it only sync’s parts that are in stock.  Is that correct?  Since the Refresh All Inventory Parts builds the Mobile user inventory part table, and the sync entity for InventoryPart has a where clause of (part_no, contract) IN (SELECT muip.part_no, muip.contract FROM mobile_user_invent_part muip WHERE muip.user_id = Fnd_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User)  How do we do a return of a Part Number (and serial) that is not part of out In Stock items?

Hello all! I’ve recently taken over as admin of our IFS system, and have been tasked with getting the TouchApps working. We already have some installed to the system from  a couple of years ago, and I’d like to get the rest of the them but i keep running into a brick wall.I’ve found a lot of the documentation provided by IFS and by the team that installed the TAP server and connected it, but i seem to be missing where to find the rest of the apps zip files to get the required .dll I’ve looked on the different servers, but can only find the zip files for the apps that are already installed. I’ve opened a support ticket and am in the que, but any additional assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!Doug

The TouchApps server itself is set up and works for other instances. I’m deploying it for another instance.First, I ran the “PrepareTAS.sql” job. It ran with no errors. I checked that the user accounts and table spaces were set up.Then, I ran the “IFS Touch Apps Server Installation Package 1.15.1.672”. Hi,  does anyone ever seen the following error message? We have connected the Certificate in the Bindings.As a Local Admin the Login is possible.Also the Login via the openid connect provider is working but after that this error message is coming. Best RegardsLorenz
