Hello,Our company rents and sells modular workspaces. When we rent a module and it returns from a costumer, we use the IFS MWO to open a work order on arrival, and we use the e-forms option to answer a quick survey that reports the module situation to other departments. We are constantly having trouble to create work orders on IFS MWO. As work orders are closed throught IFS application, they would not communicate with IEE, and would be lost between platforms. Recently we had a major problem when several objects were reported through the application but only a few of them were transfered to IEE.I’ve checked on background tasks for any information about the transactions, but no error was found.On Failed Transactions I found that it didn’t went throug becaust it was deleted due to initialization.​​​​Can someone help me figuring out what went wrong and how to solve it?Thank you!

We can take pictures which attach to the Task. When the camera loads up, video is not available. Is this a limitation with MWO App, or dependent on the mobile device / OS. We’re using Android devices.

Hi, All!In IFS applications 10 we have Synchronization Rules with own schedule for each mobile entity.To make the data exchange more frequent we would like to change the schedules minimizing the execution interval.But we are afraid of possible causes for the system.What if we will change the schedules for selected entities (ActiveWorkOrder, JtTask, MobileWorkOrder etc) from once a day to every 30 minutes?Could anyone explain how it can affect the system?What about the system performance? Can it be significantly decreased?What about client/server keys mapping? Can we receive the situation with increased quantity of failed transactions due to not receiving the proper keys in time?We have about 50 active users and about 2000-2500 Tasks per month.Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI

Questions about mobile user installed apps/devices:When is a new one created/added to a user? Our users always use the mobile app on the same device yet there is more than one line on their Installed Apps/Devices tab. How is the device State (active, disabled) determined? Hi ,I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with using IFS  Aurena Scan It on android scanning devices in a warehouse? We are really struggling to provide our end users with a stream less experience and they are opting to use the PC rather than the scanning devices.  Do you get your users to log on as themselves or provide generic accounts? Is there an easier way to login rather than entering username and password every time? How do you prevent your users from logging onto more than one device?  Are you users expected to log out multiple times a day?  Do you devices auto log out after 5 minutes of idle time?  Any tips would be much appreciated, Thanks so much,Fiona :)

We are on Apps 10, and just updated from Update 9 to Update 15.Within Enterprise Explorer when right-clicking on a Work Assignment and setting the Status to Work Started, this Clock In popup now appears (and for Work Done). It did not previously.We do not use clockings, in favour of manual Time Reports.How can we turn the Clocking dialog off for Work Assignment status changes within IFS EE? 

Trying to get back to a work order from an invoice ? After creating a work order and completing the work in service and maintenance, I have then created a customer order to generate an customer invoice.  The invoice is then sent to the customer to check and pay, however if the customer has a query and gets back to the business, at the moment there is nothing on the invoice that references to the work order that was completed.  How does the business establish what work order the invoice is for? Thanks

Hello, When I use the Auto-Generate Rota function in PSO-  The Status stays at “Generating” and it looks like nothing happen after that under the Rota Provisional. I left this on the entire day and night but nothing happen even though I refreshed the page and everything. Please help me understand if I am missing any steps. Thank you!  

Does anyone have experience creating Order Code 2 Direct Delivery inside a Purchase Requisition in a Work Order?  The help shows the Order Code is possible, but it can’t be manually entered this way.  How does the system create Order Code 2, Direct Delivery?   Order Code: There are six different order codes: Normal (1), Express (5), Direct Delivery (2), Internal Transit (4), Internal Direct Delivery(3) and External Service Order (6). The Normal code is used if the purchased parts are delivered from an external supplier to your company before shipment to your customer. Express orders differ from normal orders in the way that they are handled by the system. When a purchase requisition having the order code Express is authorized, it is automatically converted into a purchase order which, in turn, is automatically released and printed. Hello community, As far as I understand when a Work Order is Tansferred to mobile, the resource can no longer be reallocated (see below)However the whole point of PSO is to dynamically reallocate the resources to optimize them.Therefore, how do they interact ? If a work order has been Transferred to mobile can PSO still reallocate it and Transfer to mobile to another resource? Thank you,

HI, We are in the process of establishing Aurena native MWO Application in IFS V10 UPD 7.As part of setup, we have configured Work Flow Configuration in Aurena Framework to disable some of the action buttons like Issue/quick issue Material etc., as this is not something the MWO User is suppose to do as per the Business Process.Apparently we have found that  the Work Flow configuration is not synching to the Mobile device for the work tasks, if the Work Task Maintenance Organization is not same to the Resource ID (Employee) - Maintenance Organization.But the system allows to transfer the Work task to Resource ID (Employee) even if his Maintenance Organization is different from that of Work Task Maintenance organization which allows the MWO User to perform some of the actions (Issue Material) for those work tasks which he not suppose to do.I am not sure whether this is a bug and any fixes are available.  Thanks in AdvanceBest Regards, Siva Ganesh M

Hi all I am trying to create a Escalation Rule in which when someone rejects a case an email will be sent to the case creator stating as such. The problem is that when a case is rejected the only thing that is changed (that i can see) is a note put in the journal. Unfortunately this is not a parameter i can use to start the escalation. Has anyone else tried to do this and if so what did you do? Please note i am using APP8 Thanks in advance.

There seems to be some functionality missing from Task Cards around the ownership of material used in maintaining, repairing and overhauling (MRO) processes.  In preventative maintenance, we can plan the ownership of materials on PM Actions which get transferred into the maintenance material requisition lines upon the PM Action generating a work order.  We have the same requirement to do this but from the Maintenance Order.  The maintenance order is constructed of several maintenance events for a serial repair, or manual maintenance event. Each of these events will have one or more task cards, each of which can have an independent list of materials.   These materials will be transferred to a work order once released, however it only considers company owned material.  

Need help for a suggested way of overwriting the default PRICE_LIST_NO value on the Postings Tab.Thought I could do it by using an event, but not sure exactly how that code would be written to function as intended.Function needed:When new posting lines is added to a Work Order in the “Postings” tab, each line pulls the Preferred Pricelist from the connected Customer, using that Customer’s Price List value. Problem is that the same Customer can have more than one Service Contract (and more than one Object / site), but with different service types depending on the Contract. Therefore we need to be able to pull different Price List No values on the same Customer, why the Price List or Customer Agreement is not fully enough to create proper sales price invoicing. So what I’m looking for is a way where the standard Price List No value can be overwritten to another one, using an Event, if fx the Service Contract Type connected to the Work Order has a certain value, and then overwrite the Pri

Is there a place in IFS IEE to see both active and historical work orders in one place? It seems you can only see historical records in one view and active records in another.

"Contract Desc" is still displayed in 21R2 as an 'Order by' option for Object Site/WO Site in Active Work Requests page.But it has been changed to "Site Description" in the latest Apps 10 Aurena.Can I expect the same changes in the IFS Cloud releases? I'm responsible for the Japanese translation quality, but it is hard to handle this "Contract Desc".
