HiIn the current view of the MWO we have (on Work Step level) an Object to which we may add description of the work and Remarks.However often we’d need other input. Below is a fictive example. The main problem is that we have more types of input. It could be a measurement, a description of the condition or something else. Adding it all into the Remarks field complicates future analysis and is btw difficult to read. Is there a way to add other fields without making them seem in all other reports?Objects Remarks Description of condition Length (m) Width (m) Weight (kg) ABC-DEF Serviced as requested In good condition 1 1,2 5              

A User has reported that his Sync Monitor is showing ‘Syncing - 1 Media Upload is waiting’ and has been in this state for a few days. how do we move it on and stop the Media Upload that his holding up his entire device? thanks, 

Hi ,Just to seek your advise. If deliveries are installed out of order does it have any any impact on other patches? for example, delivery 1070 was installed before patch 1067 - 1069. or must delivery be installed in order they were received?Thanks 

In IFS APPS 10 V8, we are trying to add an external line to the planning tab of the Prepare Work Order screen. We are able to add the line and save. When we right click on the line and choose Report Manual Transaction we enter the Quantity, the cost and possibly the cost category. We receive an error message that Manual External Reporting is not allowed. How do we enable this?

We recently moved into IFS 10 and still shaking out some bugs we might have missed from the testing. We have two sites for one company. Most of our inventory and supplies for sending out equipment is at our 210 location. We have work orders started for technicians on site connected to the original customer order and project in which the original NO order was a 215. Therefore the Work Order is a 215. I want to consume the material from 210 on a new work task and sell it from 210. We create a customer order for service before we issue our parts as a placeholder of where to send the parts etc. When we try to create the customer order we get this error:BUT on the other hand if we issue the parts, create the invoice preview, and allow the system to then create a customer order for the parts it does everything correctly for 210 as requiredIs this a bug? Is there a patch for it? Has anyone else seen this or have input?

When trying to login to the Touch apps Server using system ID, we are presented with an ‘Invalid Redirect URL’ error: We have the correct URI redirect setups here (which matches the external URL provided in TAS setup):  Does anyone have any ideas on how we can resolve this? Many thanks

We are testing handheld in Europe and latency is high, resulting in poor scanning experience.We would like to test scanning with TAS server built in Europe to see if this improves the response timesCould you give me a little more information around the Handhelds scanning so that I can try to help troubleshooting from an Infrastructure perspective? Hi, We are in the middle of IFS Cloud 22R1 deployment at customer site with MWO Maintenance app. Customer is planning to use MWO Maintenance with android tablets and setting MWO app to auto update. If there are any issue, is it possible to uninstall the update and go back to previous version. Is the MWO Maintenance app backward compatible? Regards,Dasun

Hi all,I need help to clarify the Pool concepts because we have a new scenario.The scenario consists of planning and sending a Work Task with Demands to two Resource Groups where only one will accept and execute the Work Task. In this case when one Mobile User accepts the Work Task, a Work Assignment is created and the Work Task is removed from all other Mobile Users in the Resource Group. The other Demand should be cancelled in Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments.This scenario happens because of the unavailability of resources and because the Work Task can be performed by any of the related groups and not by others. The Customer expects that the unaccepted Demand will also be dropped from the Pool when the Work Task is accepted by any Mobile User.The same scenario can happen with Tasks sent to Pool-Keep.What is your recommendation for this scenario?

A user, via MWO, has reported ‘Work I have Completed’ but has incorrectly reported the Start and Finish Dates meaning the ‘Actual Hours Worked’ on the Work Assignment are 100hours more than they should be.How can I correct this? Thanks, 

Is it possible to prevent users typing in specific characters into a field?This is in the Aurena Web ClientWe only want alpha-numerics in a field. e.g: 123546AAABBBCCC 

I have implemented the IFS 8 Print agent on as windows server. The print agent starts and the log shows no errors. It successfully connects to the application but does not see the print jobs in the queue. The queue shows all jobs in  “remote waiting” status.When I turn on debug in the print agent it shows it is “getting remote job” followed by “no jobs found” even though there are jobs in the queue. 

Hi, All!Our customer has issue on windows mobile client, when user made all the necessary actions with the work task and closed it, but there was no any progress appeared in IEE.None of the failed transaction can be found for this user in IEE.Also, Sync monitor page on mobile client shows "Idle” and the transactions list doesn't contain any. After the investigation we see a lot of Out messages (~11k for about a week) accumulated in IEE and not sent to mobile client back.We, together with customer, restarted the tablet, closed and started the mobile client, but without any success.Is there any suggestion what to do to move forward such amount of accumulated and not sent Out messages? Is it normal situation? How can we force resending these messages?Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI

Hi Community.  I have looked in IFS today and found that a PR cannot be connected to a Work Order through the Aurena client.   Does anyone know if this is by design?   It doesn’t look to be hidden at all, it just isn't there.  I cannot find any information about this in the release notes for its depreciation or inclusion in future updates.

We are implementing MWO for our Cloud customer (21R2). Accessing MWO from outside the company network is of course necessary, but we have not been able to establish a controlled access. The documentation we followed is here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/070_remote_deploy/090_exposing_to_internet/We enabled the following endpoints at the network administration side:Aurena Native    /mob/ifsapplications/projection/v1/MobileClientRuntime.svc/*Aurena Native    /mob/ifsapplications/projection/v1/MobileAttachments.svc/*Authentication    /authHowever, this was not enough. The MWO Maintenance application was not able to connect. Only after we enabled also the root directory (“/”) we successfully connected using the MWO app. But that also exposed the entire IFS Aurena client to outside network, so this is not acceptable.Do you guys have experience of a clear set of endpoints that needs to be included so that MWO apps can access the environment?

After upgrading from 21R1 to 22R1 we have two applications versions for MWO apps : 2.3 and 22.1 In 21R1 we only had version 2.3. What are they for and what is the impact ?  Thanks !

Hi, 1. Create a workflow configuration and switch off 'Allow Accept' Status2. Create a Work Task and Transfer to mobile (the previously created workflow configuration should apply to the assignment)3. In mobile you will see the Accept button is hidden4. But the status of the Assignment has been changed to AcceptedThis is contradicting because the intention is to hide Accept button and the Assignment should be moved from Assigned State to Work Started when the user click work start button. Also this behavior has impacts on PSO planning as well.If we keep the button and skip clicking Accept and if we directly click on Start Work, the Assignment Status will be changed from Assigned to Work Started. But in this case by removing 'Accept' button, it removed the ability to keep the assignment in Assigned status. This is contradicting. If it is needed to remove Assigned status, the status Assigned should have been removed via the workflow configuration.I believe this is a bug, but if not can y
