Is it possible to prevent users typing in specific characters into a field?This is in the Aurena Web ClientWe only want alpha-numerics in a field. e.g: 123546AAABBBCCC 

I have implemented the IFS 8 Print agent on as windows server. The print agent starts and the log shows no errors. It successfully connects to the application but does not see the print jobs in the queue. The queue shows all jobs in  “remote waiting” status.When I turn on debug in the print agent it shows it is “getting remote job” followed by “no jobs found” even though there are jobs in the queue. 

Hi, All!Our customer has issue on windows mobile client, when user made all the necessary actions with the work task and closed it, but there was no any progress appeared in IEE.None of the failed transaction can be found for this user in IEE.Also, Sync monitor page on mobile client shows "Idle” and the transactions list doesn't contain any. After the investigation we see a lot of Out messages (~11k for about a week) accumulated in IEE and not sent to mobile client back.We, together with customer, restarted the tablet, closed and started the mobile client, but without any success.Is there any suggestion what to do to move forward such amount of accumulated and not sent Out messages? Is it normal situation? How can we force resending these messages?Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI

Hi Community.  I have looked in IFS today and found that a PR cannot be connected to a Work Order through the Aurena client.   Does anyone know if this is by design?   It doesn’t look to be hidden at all, it just isn't there.  I cannot find any information about this in the release notes for its depreciation or inclusion in future updates.

We are implementing MWO for our Cloud customer (21R2). Accessing MWO from outside the company network is of course necessary, but we have not been able to establish a controlled access. After upgrading from 21R1 to 22R1 we have two applications versions for MWO apps : 2.3 and 22.1 In 21R1 we only had version 2.3. What are they for and what is the impact ?  Thanks ! 

Hi communityWhen one of our products return from a client, we use IFS MWO to answer surveys that will record any damages that took place during the lease.I couldn’t find any options on the survey creation window that would allow us to add descriptions do the pictures we take.Does anyone know if that can be done?Thank you!

Hi, 1. Create a workflow configuration and switch off 'Allow Accept' Status2. Create a Work Task and Transfer to mobile (the previously created workflow configuration should apply to the assignment)3. In mobile you will see the Accept button is hidden4. But the status of the Assignment has been changed to AcceptedThis is contradicting because the intention is to hide Accept button and the Assignment should be moved from Assigned State to Work Started when the user click work start button. Also this behavior has impacts on PSO planning as well.If we keep the button and skip clicking Accept and if we directly click on Start Work, the Assignment Status will be changed from Assigned to Work Started. But in this case by removing 'Accept' button, it removed the ability to keep the assignment in Assigned status. This is contradicting. Hi community, Customer is upgrading to Apps 10 UPD 12. During the upgrade following DB Locks has prevented the upgrade and took around 5 hours to complete.   Upon a knowledge search, and confirmed with customer that,no modifications made to the Foundation role “TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME” 'TOUCHAPPS_RUNTIME' role has not 'Fndmob_Installation_API' granted  Customer has seen this on all upgrades made in Apps 10 for them so far,Does anyone know a possible reason for this and possible solutions?  

Hi community,Using Azure AD for authentication.I have two questions.What’s the behavior of the system, after expiring the session ID which has a limit of default 30 min? Will a new Session ID generated and client stay connected or should the client/user has to login again?  Is there any way to extend the lifetime of 30mins session? Appreciate any input.  /Nimesh

Hi, Since IFS Cloud will be the new service management application instead of IFS FSM, what mobile application will be used by user for service management? will it be IFS MWO Service? if so how can I activate the mobile device and where and the endpoint can be found in IFS Cloud.

Is there a possibility to export Work Order Planning Gantt to MS Project?

HiWe have a couple of employees who are getting this error message when they go to their personal portal in Apps8:Object 'ifs.fnd.asp.ASPPortalContext' (page 'ifs.timrew.portlets.AbsenceRequestEmployee')is not in DEFINED state!Can anyone shed any light on what the cause is? I thought it may have been profile related but others on the same base profile can access the portal with no issue. Thanks,Hayley

We have maintenance work orders created with no operations or allocations. When they are transferred to MWO to a pool, the work orders are showing in the mobile app as allocated . How/why does that happen? IFS Apps 9

Is it possible to enable rich text markup for text fields in Cloud? The request is specifically to enable it for the Work Description field on Task Cards in MRO, but it would be nice to have the functionality to enable it for multiple text fields.

Hi Community,A MWO app user cancelled a "Work Order" and received the below failed transactions. HiIs anybody having experience with Time Registration using Service Management and Time Registration on Work Orders?I would like to know more on how to handle it.A major issue is how to handle it when somebody in Denmark works on a Work Order connected to a projected in another country. In such cases hours are registered in other countries despite they actually belong in Denmark. How do you handle this?  

We have created a test server and installed Oracle and IFS.     When opening the link to go into IFS we are receiving a Security Error:   Your connection is not secure. The certificate ‘xxx.xxx.foil.local’ could not be validated.  To protect your information from being stolen IFS Enterprise Explorer has not connected to the server.   Log in anyway?   Yes (Unsafe) / No   Can you please advise.

Is there a possibility to add employees to a maintenance survey when specific “employees” need to be allowed access and together work tasks in status “Work start” as parameters in mobile eforms? This is in APP10 environment . Thank you
