I am doing some work on improving and reducing the number of Parts available on the MWO for Users to create PRs against.

 

I believed it was linked to the Parts available in the Users Linked Part Assortment. However, when testing, I have removed the Part Assortment from a TEST Account, Refreshed Parts via Schedule Tasks and completed an Init on the MWO Device. However ALL the parts are still showing as available via the New PR on the MWO Device.

 

How can I remove / control what parts are available on the MWO Device if not by a Part Assortment?

Hi,

In addition to the part assortments connected to the user, all the parts registered in warehouses connected to the mobile user, spare parts registered against equipment objects that have been transferred to mobile, and parts registered in tasks which are owned by the mobile user will be available in mobile device. 

You should probably be able to implement an entity filter to limit the parts if it cannot be controlled through the part assortments only.
