We are using IFS 10 and are using the customer party type locations for the stores that we service. I am attempting to figure out the best way to utilize and update the contact information on the locations. It seems to pull from the customer record, but I don’t know how to get it to update.
Here is a location we connected as the visit and tax
The address pulls in perfectly to the work tasks created. And when you update the customer record for that address, that works perfectly to update the location address.
Our only concern so far is that this contact seems to have pulled from the customer record comm method. The line in green is what it pulled upon creation, but I have added the line below for that address record to be defaulted to that phone number.
I cannot seem to get the location to update the data. Am I missing something?
Also, I cannot update on the location itself either for contact information. And I also tried invalidating the original contact which also did nothing on the location record
