We’re trying to figure out how to manually push GPS coordinates into a location to be able to pick them up by map position and transfer it to the mobile client without an equipment object or customer in order for a pipeline company to be able to fine locates.

just to make sure I understand the setup. You have a work task connected to a work order. The work task does not have an object nor a location set, or you have a location set (Location ID)?
Yyou can just add Map Positions on the work task itself, and the work will show up on the map in mobile when you click on the “Map Position” button, or if you have a location, you associate the map position with the location, and that will be added to the work task when associated.
+13We’re interfacing with JDE on a pipeline job and we need to bring in manual GPS coordinates that aren’t associated with an address, customer or equipment object for locates on the pipeline. So, we need to drive them into the locates to be able to be picked up by map position. We’re only using service mWO and PSO...not the ERP at all.
