When an order is created from a service contract but we determine it was created in error, what is the best way to back this out? Right now the only thing we can do is post the invoice, then perform a credit and then re-enter the service contract. Thanks!

Trying to add an attachment to the RMA logical unit and getting an error

I’m in Apps 10 IEE Update 13 and I need to set up the ability to add an attachment ( PDF ) to the return material logical unit and it isn’t set up. When I go to object connection transformations I get the following error( see attachment). I went down the rabbit hole...can someone get me out?

Unable to Approve Invoice Preview from Work Order

We have an Invoice Preview created from a Work Order and when trying to Approve we get a background error of “Field [WANTED_DELIVERY_DATE] is mandatory for Customer Order and requires a value.” Where do we set the Wanted Delivery Date? Using App10 Update 9Thanks,Gregg

Service Technician Portal - Completed Tasks APPS 10

I have been testing the Service Technician portal in Apps 10 and processing assignmnets through to complete. The Completed number increases. I have finished the assignment, the related task and the Work order so it is now historical - but the Completed number on the portal doesnt reduce. Is it just an ever increasing value of completed tasks for that user?

our staff created 2 new customer orders. number X1 & X2the accountant can see all orders, only those 2 orders are disappear !user can see other orders for the same customer and other orders for the same project ! what shall i check.

Hi, would it be possible to get the APK file for the IFS Time Tracker 9. It keeps disappearing from Google Play. As I understand it, this is because Google play think it’s a duplicate.

Hi FolksHow to handle RFI requirement according to qualified electronic signature in MWO >> "Digital signature of documentation directly from the mobile device at the customer's site. We require options to integrate to an internal authorization component with signing of documents/orders directly in the application".Can we support this in some way in the MWO? Any experiences?

Aurena Notify Me: Synchronising Rejection Reasons.

We have managed to get Absence Requests to appear on the Aurena Notify Me app from Apps10 Upd 12. We can approve OK but if we try to reject, it asks for a rejection reason. It offers a search field but we cannot click in it or type in it.I believe that the list of rejection reasons have not been synchronised with the device.Does anyone know how to make this happen?ThanksPaul

IFS 9 vs IFS 10 Work order posting transaction status question

In IFS 9 service we are currently using the RMB to Hold a transaction for a manager to approve if we feel they need to approve if it should truly not be charged to the customer or if it was approved the correct account. Once the manager approves it was correct, they move it to To Not Invoiceable and close the work orderIn IFS 10 there does not seem to a be a hold transaction in the invoicing processThis also means in migration everything that we did have held moved to invoiceable. We do not hold all things for managers, but just some. What are some suggestions for what to do instead now?

IFS Report Rule - Check In To Document Management not uploading to shared Repository

I have created a Check in To Document Management report rule in IFS that stores a copy of a customer invoice pdf file to the logical unit CustomerOrderInvHead.This feature successfully attaches the customer invoice pdf in our DEV10 UPD10 environment which is using a repository type Database, the attached file can be opened and viewed.After implementing this feature in our PROD10 UPD10 environment which is using a Shared repository type the report rule feature does attach the customer invoice pdf file but users are unable to view or open it. The pdf file is also not being added to the shared repository. The error message they receive is “Failed to read the file from the file system repository \\example\path_name_here\invoice.pdf (the system cannot find the file specified)”

Condition Based PM Actions

HiI have a query around Condition based PM’s in Apps 8. We have a number of PM’s set up for run time hours on engines, with an interval of 250 hours connected to a test point with an accumulative parameter. This is working fine and producing work orders every 250 hours, however, what we would like to occur is a work order to be generated with a planned value of +250 from the last recorded reading, for example if the last recorded reading was 12513 the next work order planned value would be 12763. Whereas at the moment it creates a work order +250 from the planned value of the previous work order.Is this possible to achieve in Apps 8? Below is the condition set up we have:

Connecting media and documents from Objects to Work Tasks - MWO Aurena

Hello All,A customer in IFS Cloud 21R2 has an object connection transformation that connects the media and documents from equipment objects to the work task level as below: They have setup this correctly as when they create a work order and add an object, if we go to the task, we can see the images and documents of the object in Aurena. This means the object connection transformation works fine.However in the mobile, in My Work they do not see these attachments. This should be because in the mobile application we are dealing with JtExecutionInstance not JtTask.I understand that this was a limitation in Apps 10. Is it still the same for IFS Cloud? Are there any workarounds for this?Should we create object connection transformation for JtExecutionInstance as well?Thanks and Best Regards,Ibrahim

mWO synchronisation error

Hi, One of our customer has recently reported serious problems with mWO synchronisationBelow is a log from one user In details you can see:Initialize data failed: Error when distributing INIT transaction: (ORA-00001: unique constraint (IFSAPP.MOBILE_OUT_MESSAGE_DATA_UIX) violatedORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.MOBILE_TRANSACTION_PUBLISH_SYS", line 2557ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.MOBILE_TRANSACTION_PUBLISH_SYS", line 656) Same errors have been reported previously - in log we can see the number of occurence in different days From users point of view - they get an error on mobile device and just can’t work After 29.01.2022 seems like backup or restart solved the error but probably only temporarily. What can cause such error? How to diagnose it? Maybe something in configuration is wrong or needs some adjustements? It happens for many users including IFSAPP, not only one user, so it seems like a global problem. Best regards,Hubert

Wrong time in the TAS application

Hi Im having a strange issue in my TAS application, it seems to have an wrong time in the applicationIf i look in the trace log the timestamp is 2 hours after the application server timestamp.Is there any settings to correct this, when i do an counting in the inventory from the Scan IT mobile app i will get an error that its says session corrupted. /Kent

MWO MAINTENANCE 10 SOME FIELDS SYNC NOT WORKING

Hi,USING APPS 10 UPD12 - MWO MAINTENANCE 10 - 10.13.1360.0 after press complete button on mobile, fill out the fields, fault desc, Error cause desc and Performed work, the info does not sync to IEE and there is no transaction failed. If I fill out those fields from debrief screen, it works well.Any ideas what may it be?Tks

Hi all,In IFS Cloud 21R1, I am looking for the required set up to make visible planned working time for a person resource in "Allocate resource" page.From the legend, I can see color codes corresponding to Calendar Details so it should be possible to have them displayedWhat I have done so far :create a day type dependant schedule in HR and assign it to the employee with time base = generated results the employee is linked to a resource with “use of HR schedule” activated I executed 2 background jobs : Generate Timrep intervals and hours + Generate calendar for Gantt I selected the option “Show working time” in the settings of the “Allocate resource” pageAnd yet I have a grey line throughout the day : What am I missing ?Is there anything else to do ? Account Manager app error

We have an issue with MWO Maintenance 10: Error Message:Sorry, but we’re having trouble with signing you in.AADSTS50011: The reply URL specified in the request does not match the reply URLs configured for the application: ‘20b9c03e-28c2-429e-9f5a-fea6d1b27c6c’. If I download the Account Manager 10 and try creating account:enter the System ID and then the TAS URL then click Done the Microsoft login page appears where we enter the email and password then Verify identity with a text message number which is then entered, finally click Verify, it is at this point with either the MWO Maintenance 10 or Account Manager 10 that the same error message appears, shown above appears.
