Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

We wanted to get some direction from the technical side of setting up Mobile Work Order in IFS Cloud. We want to make sure that logins on mobile go through two factor authentication. That means they need to use AD authentication or limit the devices that can us it.  We are looking to either disable mobile login from nort1app or for a reverse proxy solution that will limit access to specific devices. Or any other option that forces two factor authentication.  Are there other technical documents that could assist us with this? Thank you.

Hi Experts,In Above app when we generate service report, we can see all the reporting details including Tech/Cust signatures, which is great. However, one of our IFS customers who started to use ServiceEng app, has their own customers do not sign, until they see the invoicing amounts, after technician do the service (That is their normal practice). As we know we don’t have sales information in this app, we cannot display sales amounts in the service report.I wonder how such scenarios are mapped who uses ServiceEng app without any modifications? Any thoughts or have similar experience pls share.Thank you,Roshan

hiwhere is ‘employee’ workflow configured for MWO? I want to enable the visibility of ‘Finished’ task (NOT completed task) as a tile on MWO dashboard if possible. I have seen that once the task is marked Finished on cloud screen, it disappears from MWO screen for a technician.ex all such tasks are assignment completed by MWO technician but it no more exists in MWO because it was marked finished in cloud browser. 

Good Afternoon All,   I’ve created a workflow configuration, linked the maintenance survey and set the maintenance survey to trigger upon work start.  When I transfer the work order & task to the mobile,  start the job.  The survey doesn’t appear nor does it show in the eforms section.  I also tried in the technician portal and had the same issue.  This is within IFSCLOUD  Any support/feedback appreciated

Hi All, I have installed Service Eng App in my laptop (windows 10) and testing a MOD.The date format in the app is US format (MM/DD/YYYY)How can I change this to UK format (DD/MM/YYYY)?I could not find any option in the Service Eng App/Settings. My laptop date format is UK format.

During the creation of a Service Quotation in mWO, we only create them from a Work Assignment, we never create them raw from the home screen.  When doing this, the default value of the Service Quotation Work Type is equal to the Work Type of the Work Task from which it was generated.For our purposes, we wish the Work Type field to always have one specific value.  Currently we wish this in every scenario that we will come across without fail.  But, these will be generated from as many as five different work types. If the technician does not change the value on the initial creation screen, then he is required to change it on both the Work Order and any Work Tasks on the Service Quotation prior to submitting.  If either of these is missed, and the estimators miss it as well, then pricing is incorrect in the end.That scenario does require a minimum two different people missing this value, but if the value should always be the same anyway, then I should be able to de

Hi,We are getting an error message when trying to log in Aurena NotifyMe 10. We also use Aurena ScanIt 10 and this one works fine.   

Summary:When uploading a Revised Document via MWO it will create new Document Revision in IFSDescription:As MWO users are supposed to fill in document templates attached and sent from Aurena. Modified documents are uploaded via Revise Document section of MWO. When MWO users upload revised document it will create new document revision in IFS.However if a user wants to upload a modified document in Aurena client (without Aurena Agent) it does not create new document revision and same document revision will be holding the modified document file.Therefore this is an inconsistent behaviour in IFS Aurena and MWO.This issue is reported to MWO RnD via SMZMWO-7678. Also, refer the attached document for more information on this.

Hi Experts,I have run into an issue when I check my stock in above app. I can still see parts which are blocked by availability control (NOT ORDER ISSUE) in my stock. If I issue them in device I get a fail transaction. My question is how did I get these parts sync to my device ?. I checked the default where clause of the above entity and I can see it clearly block parts with NOT ORDER ISSUE.Can someone please let me know where I have gone wrong? I tried to check tas configuration panel, but there I cannot even see serviceeng app, I can only see old app mWorkOrder. Is there a way to override default where clause in our system which I could not figure out yet ?Thank you in advance for your support!Roshan

Community,we have a sister German company, and they buy product from us, sometimes it needs to return to us and we will do some upgrade and ship it back to them.my question is, what is best solution in IFS to map this business model? currently we are not using CO RMA, Supplier Warranty, Work Order, currently we are doing CO/PO return, shop order using the returned part as material and shop order to manufacture a new part no and CO/PO ship back to Germany. this is not a best practice.What is the best practice then? Thank you.

I am unable to open Page designer in IFS Aurena underApps for Page Designer > Maintenance Engineer > My Work.Tried with normal user ID and with IFSAPP as well.  It took lot of time to load the page and finally nothing displayed in the page designer section.(left side panel)Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi All, We are currently using MWO Service 10 (UPD 9) and we use the Maintenance Survey functionality by having E-forms triggered when se use the ‘Start Work’ button after accepting Work from the Pool Work. And we have noticed that some Answer IDs are there without a Task Sequence and WO number in the DB side and the Survey Answer page. Would you kindly advise if that could be fixed? Many thanks.-ISD- 

Hi!Recently we uncovered that an user was adding new reading values for an object into Measurements for Object window, and all the readings inputed were not being recorded, as seen below:Measurement Type as Preliminary Reading Even using the Manage Preliminary Reading option I can’t make the Measurement Type change into Recorded Reading.Does anyone had the same problem before or have any idea how to solve it?Thank you!

mWorkOrder 3.9  lags push data back to IEE after Oracle 19c upgrade from Oracle 12c.We are experiencing more lags in data writing back to IEE from mWorkOrder 3.9.We are using APPS9 UD17 and prior to the Oracle upgrade didn’t have this consistent lag. Our biggest obstacle is when a survey answer includes a photo and the photo often gets stuck and we end up with errors or no pictures. During the Oracle upgrade permissions were changed remvoing sys and system access from appowner. I was under the impression the mobile app uses IFSSYS for all mobile transactions, however maybe this isn’t the case. We were planning on deploying mworkorder 3.14, however am afraid I may introduce yet other issues moving to the newer mworkorder version prior to resolving the issues at hand. Where can I begin looking to determine where this lag may be occurring?Is there a set of permission standards deployed with APPS9 noting which
