Scenario:

A work task was assigned to a technician from Cloud to MWO. The work task was cancelled on Cloud, but the MWO technician already began travel or started work (created a clocking). The Cloud syncs with MWO and a work task is allowed to have a start time clocking and is in the cancelled state. An additional assignment is created from the existing work task and is completed.

Question:

How can the work task be in a finished state when the original cancelled work task cannot be modified with a stop time? In its current form, the work task can neither be reported nor finished because their is a clocking without a stop.

Hi,

I believe what you cancel from Cloud after transferring to mobile is the work assignment (not the work task)?

And where did you cancel the work assignment from?

If the work assignment has been downloaded to the device (Downloaded Date has a value), you shouldn’t be able to cancel (change the status) the work assignment from  Work Assignment page in IFS Cloud.

If there is a bug in that process, please report a support ticket.

Thanks
