Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

I have an automated process to create Serials From Inventory after a shop order is complete. Sometimes when there is a mistake in the shop order we need to unreceive it but it requires me to Remove the Serial from Manage Serial Structure. I get this error when using Aurena but I do not get an error when using IEE. Any insights?  

Hi everyone,I am testing the Service Management in Cloud (R24.1.5) and I have created notes to see in MWO. However, although they are apparently syncronised to mobile, they are not displayed in MWO. I am able to see the Service Notes per Task but not the service notes for the whole Request.Any idea?Thanks in advance.Regards,Irene

In IFS Apps 10, we have made Page Designer modifications to MaintEngApp (for Mobile Work Order) and associated them with a specific context in order to map them to a user group. Now we are looking for a way to duplicate these changes, but associate them with a different context/group. What would happen if we placed these in an Application Configuration Package, exported them to XML, then modified the XML, changing the context values (SCOPE_ID), then import the ACP back into the same environment? 

Hi All,I’m encountering the following error when trying to log in to the customer use place environment via the Scan It app:"An error has occurred. There is no active application version for [ScanIt]."All the necessary Wadaco client settings have been correctly configured, and the required permissions are granted for my user. Additionally, I have downloaded the latest version of the IFS Scan It app from the App Store.I’d appreciate it if you could provide a resolution or guidance to resolve this issue.  

Hi everyone,I have an issue on MWO when I try to handle purchases, here are my screenshots :My Supplier for purchase part, with the receive case “Receive into inventory”. It’s a stock part.I create a maintenance PO :When I try to receive the PO from MWO, I can’t choose the receive location :After that, when I receive the part, the Receipt says that the part has been received into Arrival The problem is :My part isn’t in inventory I can’t issue it on my WT Thanks

I have created an OCT that associates the equipment image with newly created tasks.This works well, and the assignment list in MWO shows the image.For some tasks I would like to replace/override the inherited image with another one to let the user distinguish between normal jobs and component replacements. Is there a way to remove/un-associate the inherited image? When I upload an additional one, MWO still shows the inherited, not sure if it picks the first one based on creation.

We are on 24R1SU5 and we are primarily using Trip Tracker to submit expenses. We have noticed an issue in that when an expense is confirmed in the app, it is not confirmed in IFS. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, was there anything you could do to remedy it? I’ve tried running the sync job on the phone with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,I am looking for help to get a clear set of instructions on how to get MWO working with IFS Cloud. I have noticed there is a lot of documentation that depends on which version you are installing. I am looking to setup the most recent on Aurena Native. Following Questions:Am I to follow the Regular Set of instructions for installing the Touch Apps Server? - IFS Touch Apps Server Installation I am having a hard time understanding how to get data to be sent between IFS Client and MWO, is there a clear set of instructions for this? I found the following Mobile work order pages: Mobile Work Order - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud IFS Cloud DocumentationBoth of these pages mention different permissions that need to be setup. Should I be referencing both of these pages?I also noticed the one page mentions Group Push and that Users need to be connected to sites. Is there anywhere that clearly explains how this can be setup? Any help is appreciated.

Hi all, I have a service contract with a service line with the invoice type resources used and with a cap of 5000. I then create a WO and connect the service contract and line to the WO. In the invoice I report personnel, material and expenses. When I invoice to the customer invoice all of this costs appear their. I can’t understand what are the costs that are considered being the resources. Can anynone help?

Hi all,All of our new Synchronization Tasks have been going to Posted state in both Service Engineer and ScanIt apps. The users can’t log in due to sync failing. We have tried restarting the pods, restarting MWS and the DB but with no luck. We have been using these apps for about a year now. We are on Cloud 23.2. Many thanks for any advise.

Has anyone ever seen this error message before when trying to initialize an Aurena Native App? The app was working fine, and we were doing some work with Custom Fields and went to re-initialize to test the changes and I can no longer initialize.  Any suggestions?

 Hi Community,MWO user is trying to initialize his device and received this message “initialize data waiting for Grouped push”. Now the device is taking hours to initialize. Is there a way to bypass this so that the device can complete initialization?   Thanks for your input or suggestion Mesh 

From our help documentation regarding the sales part on a maintenance org:  The connection of a sales part to the maintenance organization has the same purpose as the connection of a sales part to a resource group.  However, the sales part (and hourly rate) for maintenance organization will only be used if a resource group is not defined on a work task line or time report line. The Time Type also has a Sales Part Number and detail that allows a Resource Group to be assigned with a different Sales Part Number.  Does anyone know the hierarchy for this?  Maybe this is the hierarchy:Time Type with a Resource used the Sales PN define on that detail. Time type, no resource in details uses the Sales PN defined at the header of the Time Type. No Time Type is used but we have a Resource Group, that PN will be used. Sales PN of the Maintenance Org is used if there is not time type or resource group defined on the time repot line.Does anyone have some information that might help me?ThanksPatrick

We are having an issue with getting the new revision of a document to to MWO client.What we do isCreate a Work task and attach a document to a Work TaskTransfer the work task to MWOWhen the technician open the task, the document is visibleThe coordinator create a new revision of the document, now the new revision gets attached to the task in cloud, instead of the old one. However in MWO app, it is the old version still visible to the technician.We have setup the document class as a Mobile Document Class and Push to Mobile has been set to Yes.We are running Cloud 24R1 SU2.Thanks.@kathlk

Hi everyone, my customer is extensively working with the maintenance surveys. Throughout the implementation of them, we have noticed a couple of things, I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar requests/situations to these:Sometimes the question flow seems off when having a dependency on Yes/No questions, especially if the dependency is not directly after the dependent question (e.g. Q1 = Yes/No, Q2 = no dependency, Q3 = dependency on Q1).  Is this a bug that we're encountering or is this a design thing? Seeing as our customer is working almost only on a mobile phone, they were noticing that the "Maximum x item(s) can be selected" for multi-choice questions are taking in a lot of screen space.. Does anyone know if this sentence can be removed? On open-ended questions one can add a mask, but that removes the ability to scan a value. Has anyone found a way to make both of them work?Customer is on 24R1 SU3

I have to add more conditions to a command in a assistant and set a field as required. what is the recommended step configuration or customization and why?

I have a requirement to translate the "Complete" command for WT in the My Work Tile (MWO) app.In the translatable text, I only see the following two paths for "Complete Prog Text" under the path %ServiceEng%. However, it seems like these paths are not related to the "Complete" button for WT in My Work Tile. Does anyone know how to add a new path, or if I am mistaken, how to translate the "Complete" button for a WT in My Work Tile to any other language? adding language translation to below two paths did not translate the Complete command   

We have been building our Maintenance surveys for Aurena in a test environment. I am not able to find how to add those to an app package or be able to export them for importing into the production environment. Is this a possibility to do? We have a lot of layers developed and would rather not do them manually again. 

Hi All,Created Event Definitions and Event Reasons are not appeared in MWO app when Task Event is being added.  Tried to add an manual event via “Add Task Event”No events can be created since nothing comes for the “Event” and “Event Reason.” Those are created in the web and connected via “Event Entity Configurations”.  Any possible reasons?TIA.
