Hi all,

Are there ways to connect with customers when technician is in a work. Such as updating the status of the work task with a customer, sending a message to a customer. Other than contacting via a phone.

Let me know any possible ways. I heard about contacting via MS Team. Like to know are there any other ways.

Who should contact the customer? The technician using MWO or the backoffice user using the web client?


Technician who is using MWO.


You could use a Mobile Integration of type Work Task and construct an email URL such as

mailto:<email>?subject=Hello&body=This is the email body.

In all 3 parts you can use field substitution to insert task no, description etc.
