We are introducing someone to a new part of the business where they’re going to be helping with creating service requests, but even after giving site access, person group access, high level graph org structure access. When they go to select a maint org from the drop down, it’s blank. Is anybody able to help me with what we are missing from their setup that needs to be added in order for this to show?
When canceling a task in mWo10 Maintenance that was simultaneously accepted by two users, but completed by one user and finalized in IFS, and the other user cancels the task, the task automatically returns to the undefined group pool. If the task is accepted again and actions are performed on the step, the following error is generated: ERRINV: ORA-20105: JtTaskResource.UPDATENOTVALIDTASK: It is not allowed to modify a Resource Demand connected to a Work Task with Finished status.I believe this is a bug and the task should not be returned to MWO.
Hello everyone, I have an issue regarding PO in MWO : I’ve created a PR and transformed it to a PO on a Work Order. I’ve assigned the WT to my resource and transfered it to the mobile. My problem is that I don’t see the PO in MWO. When I go to Materials/requested materials, I see the material request line, with the “PR connected” status :Material requisition linesBut when I try to go in the PO to receive it (“Réception Commande d’achat” in the screen shot), nothing is displayed : Purchase order receipts I’ve tried to sync all the entities several times, but nothing happened. My user is connected to a remote warehouse : Do you know if I miss something ? Thanks in advance.Simon
Hi IFS Hive Minds! We use IFS Apps 10, I’ve come across an issue where some users ID and timestamp isn't populating in the Actions Taken field in Work Task. What would be preventing this?I’ve checked user settings/permissions front end and can’t find any differences between those that work and those that are blank.Any pointers as to where to look or update settings would be helpful, many thanks😊
I’m working with a customer using mWO Service App 10.It seems that when technicians register measurements against Wort Task in mWO, the data is not tranferred to IFS until they Initialize mWO. This doesn’t seem legit to me.Scenario:Assignment transferred to mWO Technician accepts assignment and starts the work + reports time Object Measurements are registered in mWO Work Task Assignment completed in mWO → JT assignment status changed in IFS No data visible in Measurements for Object in IFS technician does Initialize mWO → data recorded readings appear in IFS.Object Measurements only come across to IFS only when technicians Initialize mWO. There are no Failed Transactions. Is this standard behaviour in Apps10? @Alexander Heinze any thoughts on this matter?
We are starting to use the maintenance Gantt, and the legend mentions HR allocations.I can not seem to find any way to define a work task as HR, and have found no help in the documentation. We would like to use this to show when resources are not available for allocation.
When reporting time in mobile work order, IFS MWO Maintenance my comments are not populating in cloud 24R2. We are not using time clock to clock in and out, we are only reporting hours worked.I can see that Cloud = ReportComment but mWO is using ClockOutComment. Since we are not using the clockings where should we map mWO?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, Do we have any possibility to see do not dispatch requests/task in IFS Cloud.
Hi Experts,We have a customer query on checking the feasibility of tracking technician location in real time (or closer to real time). From the out of the box parameters, I know that we can set the ‘LOCATION_TRACKING_INTERVAL_MIN’ parameter and get the location in about 5-minute frequency (at the latest). But the requested feature would require something more than the above setting. Is there a possibility to achieve this either from configurations or customizations? And how much of an impact it will have on the overall performance.
Hi all - I am trying to decipher what I am sure is a fairly common issue with mobile apps. Our goal is to streamline the user experience, while obviously maintaining security. We are seeing examples of field operatives having to re-authenticate with the MWO app when we wouldn’t expect them to - e.g. during a normal working day, actively using the app, then finding their session has expired and they need to re login. Before I dive further into specific details, does anyone have experience of this sort of behaviour and know where we should focus our efforts?I have raised a case with IFS, but I thought this must be something others have experienced.Any help is gratefully received.
@Alexander Heinze you’re my best bet on this matter. I’m working with a customer that’s using Apps10 and mWO for Service. They have 2 workflow configs which have:same filters same weight same sites, but applicable for different Maintenance Orgs each technician is connected to both sites but only one Maintenance Org.However, it seems like when JT assignment is transferred to mWO, the configuration is not applied.Do you know if maintenance org are also considered when the system determines which wf config to be applied? Or is just the site considered (in which case it’s obvious why there’s no wf config applied)? MWO FR - applicable for TDGN & TDGW sites, but just for 2 maint orgs: MWO DE - applicable for TDGN & TDGW sites and also for all German maint orgs:
Hi All,If is it possible to change the dashboard of CRM Companion via configuration or other way.For example, add opportunities to the dashboard. Thank you. Best regards,Feng
Hi All, I cannot completed the Pickup tasks prepared for the material purchase. A failed transaction occurred and the status of the Pickup task remained as “Started” even after pick up is performed. Purchase order is closed and the pickup material is shown under the Reserved material. Material can also be issued. However, I cannot complete the pickup.Because of this request work task also cannot be completed. A failed transaction is occurred citing uncompleted Pickup task.It seems everything works well other than Pickup task completion step. This is after the material pickup and completion PO is closedMaterial is reserved after the pickupFailed transaction after Completing pickup task from mobileFailed transaction descriptionAs per this error stack, these are the possible errors. However, we noted PO is closed. @anmise @Alexander Heinze Do you have any guesses on this? Thanks.
Hi All, We are using the MWO application with the Service App name and have observed that the initialization process is taking longer than expected. We raised this concern with the IFS Team, and based on their suggestion, we are considering the use of the Entity field to optimize performance. Additionally, you have advised limiting the amount of data loaded in the Customer tab. However, due to business requirements, we need to load customer address information for service-related activities. We have also observed that the following entities are contributing to the longer initialization time:LocationPartyAddressQuery RequestContactNote MobileCommMethodQuery CustomerInfo ScContractSite PscContrProduct EventLog InventoryPartInStock JtTask StandardTaskResource InventoryPartWe would appreciate your guidance on the following:The correct approach to apply the Entity field for the above queries and entities. The recommended where conditions or filters that should be applied to optimize data lo
Hi All,I have some instances where the Request WT is not updated to Work Done even though the Assignments are Completed. Steps are completed and no unfulfilled material demand. Work is executed via MWO. Another observation is that the sales prices are not fetched when this happens. But, in work tasks of which the status are changed correctly sales prices are also fetched correctly. What can cause this behavior? TIA.
Hi Team,We’ve observed that the current solution in MWO only supports a manual method for retrying failed image uploads, either by reviewing each image individually in the attachments screen or by performing a sync via the Sync Monitor. This approach is inefficient for the customer’s use case, where they upload over 300 images daily as part of their business operations. Therefore, we’d like to request the addition of an automatic retry feature to detect media upload failures, such as those caused by temporary network issues, and reprocess them to sync properly with the IFS Cloud backend. This enhancement would eliminate the need for manual intervention, making the application more user-friendly and effective.Thank you!
Hello, I have tried to test the new functionality Update Allocated Hours in MWO, 24R1. The change was transferred to IFS Cloud. But I cannot see any updates in PSO. The duration is still 2 hours, how it was defined in the first place.Does anyone have any experience with this?Thank you very much. Best regards,Iulia
Customer is having IFS cloud hosted remotley on Prem server. We are able to use IFS MWO desktop windows app but can’t use that app from mobile phones. It thows error “Something went wrong while tryingt o communicate with the server. Please check the connection and Server URL”. IFS MWO Service Classic uses Entra based login from microsoft via login.microsoftonline.com. We use Application proxy to facilitate pre-authentication to services we use proxy for, in this case onprem installation of IFS cloud in a kubernetes cluster. From what we can tell the applications do not support claiming authentication before contact is intiated with the service URL of the cluster. Can this be solved in any other way before it initiates the contact with service URL of the cluster ?
Hi All,One of our clients needs to use push notifications in MWO to use only for certain events only such as priority 1 assignment. They don't want to receive default notifications such as new assignment and pool work. Is there a way to disable default notifications (new assignment, pool work)? As I experienced, we can only enable/disable push notifications feature completely. TIA.
Hi Experts,In ‘Installed app details’ there are two Felds(non editable) available as per screen shot below. Tool tip description are also available. Could not find any details in tech docs as well. Can someone please shed some light on these two fields and explain its use case?.Thank you,Roshan
Hi everyone,we've noticed that the time shown in the header of the Pool Tasks differs by two hours. I’ve double-checked the time zone settings on my laptop, and they are correct. The scheduled start time is also displayed accurately. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this discrepancy? Thank you!
We have a need to remove the ability for users that can create/work on Work Orders and Fault Reports to delete them once they are created.I’ve found that the Database Object tied to this is the ActiveSeparate Logical unit and removing the checkbox next to Remove__ would in theory throw an error - however that particular database object is tied to a lot of other functions in IFS and we would not want it to not work in other areas. There is a chance I am making this more difficult than necessary so any direction would be greatly appreciated.
In App9 from the transfer of work order lines to customer order screen, user selects the line to transfer, RMB to create customer order line and receives an error message: Payer has expired. Check expire date. I cannot find what is causing the issue and have verified that the customer number on the work order is not expired in the customer screen / order tab / misc customer info subtab. Also checked the invoice tab / general subtab and customer number is not inactive. Also verified that in all companies setup for the customer number. Also confirmed the same was true for the parent customer id. We are stuck and cannot proceed with the customer order. Also checked the Customer screen / Payment Tab / Misc Payment Info tab and no payer is entered.
Hi,I’m trying to display the Part ID (from Service Object Details) in the Request Scope tab on the Request page. For this, I created a persistent custom attribute in the SrvRequestScope entity.Added the screenshot below.Current Version Using 24R2 However, this custom field is not appearing in the Attributes dropdown of the RequestScopeitemList in Page Designer. I’ve checked the Projection Metadata and found that the attribute has been added to the "ReqScope" entity instead of the "SrvRequestScope" entity. Could anyone please explain why this is happening and guide me on how to make the field display in the Request scope? Thanks in Advance.
The field technician would best know whether an issued material or time spent should be exempted from a service contract, warranty or pricing agreement. For instance, if a service object was damaged through neglect, then the repair visit as a whole or just certain parts may be charged at full price rather than discounted at 100%. It would be helpful to be able to record the needed adjustment while debriefing the Task from MWO.In 25R1 MWO, the mobile user can enter quantities for usages, but cannot apply pricing adjustments.
