When we raise a work order in MWO it creates a temporary work order number, Originating System Id in the work order general tab on the EE work order,  which when synced to EE converts to a standard work order number.  The system will replace this originating system id on the tablet with the EE work order number but it is not consistent.

 

Does anyone know what task synchronises these such that the originating system id in the tablet changes to the EE work order?

The photo shows what appears on the tablet. Both work orders were raised on the tablet and one has converted the other hasn’t.

Hello Richard,

In mobile work order it is set in a column called mobile_task_id.(Check below).

But if the workorder /worktask created from the mobile has not synced yet, check the Failed transactions first to see if there is any blocking errors and should process accordingly.

Thanks VinuP for your reply.  Appreciate it.  I think all of this is set up correctly as the data from the tablet is creating and updating EE correctly with no errors.  If left long enough and for an unknown reason the EE work order number will update the originating system id on the tablet.  Just I cant work out what does this as I would like to update this faster.  We use the Wadaco functionality to issue material and it wont accept the originating system id wanting the EE work order number.  Slows down the process as the store operatives have to look it up rather than the fitters quoting it.  Any other suggestions would be gratefully received.  Thanks Richard

Both the WO’s rasied at the same time?   
If you check the synchronization rules you will see default delivery method - ususally it’s Push and Batch and should have every 15 mins. You can test it by clicking on ‘sync now’.

Yes the mobile feeds EE almost immediately and I can see the relevant Push and Batch messages.  I have tried Sync but not initialize as I understand this should  be used sparingly with no joy.  The strange thing is that it will replace the MWO work order number eventually just cant work out how to do it so I cant schedule more frequently.  If I initialize then it will replace it.  Thanks for your help
