Hi all,

a few colleagues reported crashes of the MWO App classic on iOS when trying to complete a Work Task visit and starting the Service Report signature.

One example is from an iPhone 16, iOS 18.5 and Client version 25.4.1460.0

Are problems known? I only found 3 year old conversions with no result posted.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Please try the same on a device running iOS 17.x or another officially supported version to help isolate whether the issue is related to the iOS version. Additionally, clearing the app cache or performing a reinstall may help resolve any potential issues caused by corrupted data.!--endfragment>!--startfragment>

Hi maheshmuz,

as this happened to a few colleagues I doubt it will be corrupted data. But I will ask them to do it.
From two colleagues I got the iOS version (18.5)
On Ipad with 18.5 as well it works without error.

Regards,

Chris

Now tested with iOS 18.6 and there the same problem occurs.

Couldnt get hold of a device with iOS17.X yet.

Is someone working on this problem and fixing it?
For half of our technicians the app is not usable at the moment.

I have seen in another community post that someone else experienced a similar issue. It seems this is an issue where we need support from the IFS team.

I tested it now again with iOS 17.4.1 on an iPhone 13:

First I was able to finish the work and display the service report
Then I was able to open the pdf viewer in the completed work, but nothing as displayed
Now the App crashed every time I want to open a Service Report

What needs to be done that someone from IFS is having a look into this?
