Hello,

I am looking for guidance on the settings we need to enter in the Mobile Integration screen in IFS Cloud to allow our engineers to link to the Amazon Business App on their Android devices.

Appreciate I need to use APK as feature type, but struggling with the Application ID and Unform Resource Locator values to be entered.

Appreciate any help anyone can provide!

Thanks

Shaun

Have a look at IFS Cloud - MWO Service demystified (24R2) | IFS Community

Feature Type=APK was relevant before iOS supported deep-links. The Feature Type setting is no longer relevant. If you wanted to call MWO FROM another app, it would e.g. be

ifs-ifsmwoservice://ServiceEngApp/MyWork

To link MWO to another app, the mobile integration link would be intent://business#Intent;package=com.amazon.mShop.android.business;scheme=amazon;end  (on Android, according to ChatGPT… )

@Alexander Heinze Thanks for your response, we are currently using 23R2, but in the process of moving to 24R2 in the coming months. In these versions, I believe we still need to specify the feature type along with the other two field values?

I did check the MWO Service demystified (23R2) document but it doesn’t give any clear direction on how to set up other than a screenshot of one setup.

I don’t think it was different in 23R2 and it anyway only applied to iOS, not Android. Have you tried creating a mobile integration entry with the above URL?

@Alexander Heinze

The below setup did not work on MWO after refreshing the cache, and re-init of the MWO app:

I think the problem is not on the MWO side, you need to find out what the right target URL is. Apparent ChatGPT’s initial suggestion was wrong, see the excuse below…. 🤔
