Solved

Hi There,Could someone please put me in a right direction on the below issue. No recourses ( work center & labor class employees) loaded to PSO workbench after executing finite scheduling due to which shop orders are not getting scheduled.

Hello IFS Community, im fairly new at working with Custom Entities and we are currently trying to add a new custom entity to Audits, we are copying this new rows from a different custom entity using a Custom Event, in this custom Entity we are adding rows and one of columns is  the Audit ID, the goal is that the user only see the Rows with the Audit ID related to the Actually Audit where this new row is being added. as you can tell in the picture below, the user can see Audit ID from different audits, in the example below, we are in Audit ID = 1 and in this list below, the user should only see Audit ID = 1. i was told that using a Entity Association in the Projection Configuration would do it, but it still doesn't work, what am i missing, your help will be truly appreciated. we are in 25R2.

My customer is using the Self-service Procurement and the Punch out functionality. The customer needs to do some extra stuff when each cart line is created. This is solved by a custom event which is posting a background job, which is running some logic doing the extra stuff. The above works fine when you add parts to the cart from the catalog. Each created cart line, creates a background job by the event. But, when using the Punch out, the background job ending upp in error: “FndUser does not exist”. Looking at the background job you can see that there is no user added inte “Fnd User”-field. To me this means that the session that creates the cart line (from the Punch out), and at the end also creating the background job by the event, is some other user. I don’t know the logic behind the Punch out-integration, but it seems like cart line is created by a “ghost” user, at least not normal Fnd users. Can anyone bring some light over the Punch out-integration and maybe explain “who” is actua

In IFS Developer Studio, I’ve got one module with a few entities and a couple utilities in it. Is Group/Sum option in Advanced Search functionality available in IFS Cloud version? There are several topics posted covering this topic. As the below entries were few years old, I was hoping something might have changed in between. Can I know that, will this Group/Sum option included in upcoming cloud version. If it is already available, is there any material on how this is done?Missing Group/Sum option in IFS Cloud #GSDTECH# | IFS CommunityAdvanced search (i.e. group, count, sum, etc) | IFS Community One of IFS customers has raised this question again and In App9 & App10 user had the possibility to conduct advanced searches by grouping values and summarizing values in table views. They wants to know whether this will be included in a release in the near future. Business Impact: User will have to use longer methods to find information that is required. Thank You & Best Regards,

Hello, I am new to using IFS Cloud in the cloud. I have always used IFS on prem. I went through the necessary steps and have received the ability via ifsinfo and ifsdbreadonly to get into the database via sql developer to do some select statements. However, I am coming across the problem where I can only do a SELECT statement on some views and not others.EX: IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER returns nothing but IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER_ADDRESS returns normal information. There are many more examples. Why is this? Or how am I able to query all of the views without issue? Thanks, Eli

IFS Cloud 25R1 SU12, on-prem, Manufacturing. No Constraint-Based Scheduling. We have an existing Work Center 1 (a press). We are adding Work Center 2 (a kitting station) that will physically sit inside Work Center 1's operating area. Both take machine and labor clocking. They are separate work centers for costing and capacity reporting, but because they share the same floor space they cannot run shop orders at the same time. Initially Work Center 2 will run on the opposite shift. Later they may be physically separated.Standard infinite and finite scheduling treat each work center as its own capacity pool, so nothing stops a planner or the scheduler from placing an operation on each at the same time. Today the only control is the planner watching for it.What we are testing: separate work time calendars per work center covering only their shift, with Finite capacity on both, so the scheduler cannot overlap them. Fallback is a Quick Report that flags overlapping open operations on the two

Our users report the following: In IFS, when an advance payment is managed via the PO by inserting the advance payment, and the PO is still in the draft / unauthorized status, the advance payment can simply be processed by AP. Why does IFS allow payment against a not authorized PO? Are we doing something wrong? Who can advice?

Hi All, I need to create a lobby element which shows not cerated external customer invoice load IDs per company in last 10 days. I started with a Projection type datasource.Projection: ExternalCustomerInvoiceLoadInformationHandlingFilter: (LoadDate gt #TODAY#-10) and ExtOutInvLoadState ne IfsApp.ExternalCustomerInvoiceLoadInformationHandling.ExtOutInvLoadState'Created' It works upto here.I need to show the  no of load ids per company.the group by condition I need to use is: ((Company),aggregate($count as LoadIdCount)) URL would be:.../main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ExternalCustomerInvoiceLoadInformationHandling.svc/ExtOutInvLoadInfoSet?$apply=filter((LoadDate%20gt%202026-08-31)%20and%20ExtOutInvLoadState%20ne%20IfsApp.ExternalCustomerInvoiceLoadInformationHandling.ExtOutInvLoadState%27Created%27)/groupby((Company),aggregate($count%20as%20LoadIdCount)) URL is giving correct results but the datasource designer gives an error with the aggregate. It seems like the aggregate is not supp

Hello, I am attempting to create an arrival to receive a Purchase Order line via REST API. I am inspecting the endpoint calls that Aurena makes during the process, but i’m unable to figure out which call is actually performing the receipt. I see calls to CreateReceiptSet but the payload doesnt include the information from the arrival line (PO #, Line, Etc). I also see CreateArrivalReceipt, but it only uses what i assume is the OBJKEY that is returned from CreateReceiptSet. I know this is a little tricky because an assistant is involved, but I cant seem to make sense of the calls that are happening. Any tips for figuring out how this assistant works?

Hi All,I am aware that from version 24R1 onwards, IFS Cloud (Remote Deployed) customers are limited to using only Database and File storage.I have a defence customer hosted on-premises in the UK. They have operations in both the UK and Australia, and due to legal requirements, they must store documents in external storage within their respective countries, not in the database or cloud. Is there any limitation whereby remote deployed customers are restricted to use one File storage location? If so, how can IFS address these legal requirements given that only File storage and Database options are available moving forward? Thanks,Chamath

I am using the STDSIN2 external file template to load PO invoices, where the PO matching parameter is based on the Receipt Reference. My requirement is to load multiple PO lines with multiple receipt references under a single invoice. However, when I upload an invoice containing two different receipt references, the system considers only one receipt reference and ignores the other.Could you please advise whether there is a way to load multiple PO receipts against the same invoice number so that each invoice line can be matched to its respective PO receipt? Please find the example below for reference. At the line level, all four lines have been loaded successfully. However, in the Supplier Invoice Posting Information, only one receipt reference number is populated because the system considers only a single receipt reference from the invoice header.

Hello everyone, An issue appeared on one of my environment when I try to create resource connections :As you see, there is no connections for this resource but this message is displayed. This was working fine last week, and I don’t know what happened. Do you have an idea ?Thanks, Simon

Hi All,I am trying to unreserve items that are reserved to a Customer Order Line which is supplied by DOP. The reservation was made by performing DOP Netting in the DOP Header connected to the customer order line. According to the documentation, un-reserving can be done by following steps given below. From the Inventory Sub Tab of the Supply Tab in DOP Order, right click the reserved stock line and choose the Manual Unreserve option. It takes you to Manual Netting from Inventory window. From there Qty Res value can be reduced to unreserve Reserved Quantities.  However, I am getting the error Qty Reserved Can’t be Less Than Qty Delivered.  This is due to Reserved Qty being delivered to Parent Order Is there any work around that I can use to unreserve these reserved items while the DOP Header/Order is still open?

Has anyone found a way to reliable retrieve Sales Part Base Price of a sales part via the pricing hierarchy?  Sales Price List: Customer Agreement: This will ultimately be used in the various invoicing reports and customer order confirmation to show discounts without calculating an actual discount percentage aggregated from the discounts applied at the various pricing source and additional discounts applied at the customer order line level. I’m trying to avoid pulling the Sales Part Base Price directly as that can change over time where two renders of the same invoice could disagree.

Example.  I have two shipment lines attached to a Shipment.  Line 1 with qty 10 has 8 in my first handling unit and the reminaing 2 in my second handling unit.  Line 2 of my shipment is not in a handling unit. Is there a way to complete this Shipment?

In Apps 10, which mechanism allows the Planned Delivery Date to remain fixed while the Planned Receipt Date is recalculated forward when the Mode of Delivery is changed on the PO line?

Are there modules or processes in IFS cloud for continuous NPS or other type of customer satisfaction surveying? Currently we have been using an external survey tool, which is triggered to send a customer a short survey, by an order being marked Invoiced in IFS. The integration is not the best and we have had problems throughout the course of the surveying. Desperate need to find a better way.

Hello,I currently have the “Poland Country Solution” documentation for IFS Applications 10 Update 28.Is a similar or updated document available for Update 30? If so, could you please let me know where I can find or download it?Thank you in advance.

We are on IFS cloud 25R2 and have turned the parameter “Create Part Revision for each Eng Revision” to “NO” on Part Transfer Template screen. Why the system never wants to update the first part revision even if it is with a tentative structure and not in effect part revision 1 ?For a purchased part (with empty structures), the fact that a second part revision is systematically created when transfering eng part rev is a problem.Actually, with 2 differents part revisions for a purchased part, you have to make a distinct counting on each rev when inventorying. If we have decided to manage a technical modification of a purchased part by usage of a new revision instead of a new part number, this is really because we don’t want to make a different stock management on this part..Thank you for the explanation about the specific behaviour of 1st revision

Hello All! Quick question. How do I find out what Container feeds the data of a form when that form is a fly-out panel, like this? Flyout PanelI know that with standard forms you can inspect the metadata on Debug → Page Info. I’m also aware that there are Chrome Extensions that facilitate that information for regular forms. But I don’t know how flyout panel Container information can be obtained. Thanks!
