The online documentation indicates business rule operators:to days, to hours, to minutes, to secondsConvert to days, convert to hours, convert to minutes, convert to secondsBut there is no example as to how this is actually implemented.  to_minutes() does not work.I am trying to calculate the duration (time difference) between two dates in a business rule. Thanks in advanceBen

Is there any documentation about how to use XML_MESSAGE, VALIDATION_XML_MESSAGE, VALID_IF_FOUND and ALTERNATE_XML_MESSAGE?I have written some simple rules using only XML_MESSAGE, but If I wanted to use the other fields how do they work. My First question would be Does the VALIDATION XML run before or after XML MESSAGE?When does the ALTERNATE XML run?How do I use VALID_IF_FOUND? I’m Working in FSM 6.5Thanks!

We have quite a few customers where we use Alerts - often because we need to contact them a certain time before a PM. But it is often difficult for the technicians and/or dispatchers to see this. In Mobile Edge the alert is shown here - so the SA has to open the order to see it  We would really love to have it in the Work List somewhere. Like:  And if it is possible to show it someplace in Dispatch Console as well, my users would really applaud

Hi all,Apps 10, upd 11.Bit of an odd use case but i was wondering if anyone knows how to hide a lobby element from a group of users but not the rest?Cant do it via profile to my knowledge.Have tried it via permission set by hiding the element ID presentation object but that does nothing. Seems to be once they have the lobby granted to them then it doesnt matter if they have the permission to view the element itself.Im trying to avoid duplicating lobbies for the sake of a few elements that need to be hidden from some users otherwise will end up with too many lobbies. Also don't wish to have X’s all over the screen so they need to disappear. Cheers

Hi I created an External File Template for a Bank Statement upload. The input file processes correctly with all records going to Unpacked status. When I run the External File Assistant I now get the below error message where as you can see the Statement Date parameter is shown defaulting to the SYSDATE.Does anyone have any ideas as to why I’m suddenly getting this error message? I’m sure I’ve come across this previously but can’t remember what causes the issue and what the resolution is. ThanksAlan

Hello,Is there a way to specify a default filename when printing client reports? (FSM 6.5)When we use the print button we see a preview of the PDF version of the report and the default file name will be something like: REQUESTS_SERV_67c439a7-e9fc-413d-8d4c-44879a55ff4e.pdfI’d like to change that name, or at least remove all the extra stuff so we get REQUESTS_SERV.pdf to match the rdlc file name.  Ideally we could append the request ID, or some other useful value. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi Team,Please let me know how to receive same inventory part with different costs from receive inventory part window and using purchase orders.(What are the pre requests needed in inventory valuation method etc.)

I see points listed on the leaderboard. How do you earn points?

The requirement is like this: mWO users should be grouped and work assignments (work task) should be transferred to mWO users which are assigned to a group. If a user accepts the assignment, it should be removed from all other users. It should be possible to define several groups of users. This sounds pretty much as the pool functionality in our mWO. But if a work task is transferred to the pool, all mWO users which have access to the site of the work task see the work task in the pool. Only the mWO users of a specific group (Team? Resource Group?) should get the work tasks of their pool (group). Is there any possibility to define different pools/groups and how it could be defined in Apps 10 UPD 9 or greater?Thx in advance for your support

Hi all,We are considering using smart TVs as information screens around the company. Our idea is to have the TV’s running Aurena Lobbies.Anyone has experience with this?

HiI'm not able to find “the usual” information about new, added functionality compared to previous versions, Is there such information yet, or are there any guess when it will be presented/downloadable from here.

I have been asked by my team if it is possible to move some fields from one sub-page to another. Specifically they want the field Billable moved from the Material Info page to the Material page. for Service Orders I have been able to move fields (within a given page or between sub-pages) by deleting them and adding them again in the desired location. But not Billable. I assume this is because this field as additional logic to it (if you chose Fixed the Price field automatically appears)? To be precise - I can move the fields, but the functionality is gone (value is NULL)

Hi,Anyone that can inform me about one-time-suppliers and I would be forewer greatful.I dont quite understand  how to use it. It seemes like I have to open the supplier site and register the suppliers data. What is the point then? I would like a form of “shortcut” in the manual suppliersystem where I could register the onetimesuppl. and the payment will show in the paymentproposals along with the other invoices at due date. Then they should remain in a separat log so they are searchable later if needed. That was my wish now back to reality, h ow does it work?  Mvh BM

Hi  Everyone, i need create a folder for Include mi Custom Bd Package for Can Selected in Method for Create a DB Task , how can i create this folder?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to establish a cycle count program using count reports and I’m having an issue with the business logic being used to add lines to the count report. I’m finding a disconnect between the cycle interval on the inventory part, and the last date an inventory part has a COUNT-IN or COUNT-OUT transaction. It appears the ‘Last counted date’ which is being fetched by the Get_Last_Count_Date function,  is populated on the inventory part in stock, but is granular down to the part/config/location/lot/serial/ecn/wdr/handling unit combination. So if I count a part at a specific location, then move it, the last counted date will be lost.  My interpretation of the cycle interval logic is as follows. If the cycle interval on the inventory part record is 60, and the part is counted on October 1st, then the next time the part would be fetched and added to a count report would be December 1st. (our distribution calendar is 7 days a week @ 24 hours a day). My testing has completely

Hi IFS gurusIFS10-UPD9:I am trying to create a script which is flexible to import 2 depreciation amount lines if ran at the end of the year or 1 depreciation line if run in the middle of the year. From IFS screen, i can successfully save 2 lines like following: with script IFSAPP.FA_OBJECT_TRANSACTION_API.NEW__( info_ , objid_, objversion_, attr_ , 'DO' ); is not adding second line and i get following error. following is my sql script.  with count(*) cnt_ will get 2, as i have 2 lines for the same object_id with 2 depreciation amounts: SELECT count(*)into cnt_      FROM MACTAB_FA_OBJECT_IMPORT2 t where t.object_id =rec.object_id;      loop client_SYS.clear_attr(attr_);   client_SYS.add_to_attr('COMPANY', '01', attr_);     client_SYS.add_to_attr('OBJECT_ID', rec.object_id, attr_);   client_SYS.add_to_attr('BOOK_ID', 'INTERNAL', attr_);    client_SYS.add_to_attr('FA_YEAR', rec.fa_year, attr_);    client_SYS.add_to_attr('FA_PERIOD', rec.fa_period, attr_);    client_SYS.add_to_attr('AMOUNT'

Hi all,I’m working with a client in Aurena (Apps 10 UPD 13) who would like the ability to toggle through multiple different Sales UoM on the Customer Order Line. For example, for the same part number/site, they may price the material by various weight UoM such as metric ton, lbs or short tons.   Is there any method this can be achieved via standard functionality in which I am missing?  If not, any alternate suggestions from other customers looking to achieve something similar? Thanks!
