Hiding lobby elements

Hi all,

Apps 10, upd 11.

Bit of an odd use case but i was wondering if anyone knows how to hide a lobby element from a group of users but not the rest?

Cant do it via profile to my knowledge.

Have tried it via permission set by hiding the element ID presentation object but that does nothing. Seems to be once they have the lobby granted to them then it doesnt matter if they have the permission to view the element itself.

Im trying to avoid duplicating lobbies for the sake of a few elements that need to be hidden from some users otherwise will end up with too many lobbies.

Also don't wish to have X’s all over the screen so they need to disappear.

I don’t believe you can switch out or switch on/off lobby elements based on either permissions or profile.

You can control with two different lobbies sharing the same elements, one with the full set for users who are allowed to see, other with the limited version and different permissions for both.

OR

Same lobby but with permissions removed for the underlying data for some users but as you say, this will result in errors or x-s over the data.

I believe those are your only choices.
