We have quite a few customers where we use Alerts - often because we need to contact them a certain time before a PM. But it is often difficult for the technicians and/or dispatchers to see this. 

In Mobile Edge the alert is shown here - so the SA has to open the order to see it 

 

We would really love to have it in the Work List somewhere. Like: 

 

And if it is possible to show it someplace in Dispatch Console as well, my users would really applaud 

 

For the mobile side of this, we don’t have a way at the moment to display the Alerts icon on the Work List card (the MOEs -10212, -10213 and -10214 only control when they display once the tech is in the order and it can’t be done through the Mobile Customizer application).  Log a RFE (Request for Enhancement) ticket for this and we’ll consider adding it for a future development sprint.

Is your need to have the alert linked to the work order or just get a message out to the field engineer?  If the latter, you could consider using the Communication Center to send SMS (if you have configured your system to use Exchange for SMS messaging) to the engineer.

It would not be linked to the work order specifically but would get a message out to the mobile user.
