Solved

Hi, we are using V15.4.2.0We have had a few users report that Service Orders that they created via PM Batch and have already allocated to an SA, have disappeared later.  They are not in history or cancelled, just gone from the system.  I thought perhaps they had made a mistake but we have had such accounts from several different areas now.In a recent case, they knew the exact SV number and we could not find it with Order Locator at all and when we searched similar numbers, we found that there was a gap in the numbering for this SV (i.e. SV2310230098 was missing but SV2310230097 and SV2310230099 were there).I know that you can get a gap in numbering if you start to create a new SV and then abandon it without saving but once saved, I don’t know any way to delete any order, without trace. We have not found any way to replicate this so far and it happens rarely.Has anyone else heard of cases like this?  Any idea why or how it could be happening? and of course, how we can stop it?Thanks, eve

I am trying to have a standard SOP attached or linked to every Purchase Requisition.  Essentially, when you create a new Purchase Requisition, you can access the Procurement SOP.  The below link explained how to do it in Apps8 but it does not appear to work the same way in Aurena Cloud 23.R1.Any help is appreciated.

Hi,I was wondering if there exist a solution for the following case:A customer is having several organizational changes for the 01.01.2024. Unfortunately, this is the time most employees have entered their absences for the holidays. All absences for 2024 are connected to the old Org Code.Is there a way to update those absences at once? Or do I have to cancel and recreate the absences individually? Thanks for your feedback!KR,Anny

Hi, I was trying to create a new theme 1 week ago on the test environment. I made some changes in the themes.zip file. There was no problem until yesterday. Our partner pushed a delivery to our test environment. After that, this problem occurred. I can’t reach the application. There was a backup of themes.zip. I used the original files. It still throws the same error. I signed the application with F1MAGE. I couldn’t solve the problem. The error text is below. How can I solve the problem?  ERROR DETAILS Following errors were detected during this operation. * [8.12.2023 09:16:48] System.Deployment.Application.InvalidDeploymentException (HashValidation) - File, themes.zip, has a different computed hash than specified in manifest. - Source: System.Deployment - Stack trace: at System.Deployment.Application.ComponentVerifier.VerifyFileHash(String filePath, Hash hash) at System.Deployment.Application.ComponentVerifier.VerifyFileHash(String filePath, HashCollection hashCollection) at

Hi,In the transaction PM scheduler batch :Is there a way (a setting)  to consolidate SV for installed items when they are on differents contracts ? You can have a Site with multiple contracts (OOS = installed Items)  and when you perform the PM for installed items in the site,  you want to group your service orders even if they are on many contracts. Thanks and Regardsantony

According to the release schedule for IFS Applications 10, update 22 was released yesterday (December 7 2023). I have tried to find information via the Product Updates pages on the Community without luck. Where can I find the release notes for UPD22?Thank you!

Hello everyone, Where can I find the patch report for Applications 9 Update 17?

We have a product deployed at the site of multiple customers and that application is using IFS 9/10 and the .NET Access Provider to connect to IFS. We have 2 customers that are still using IFS 9 and both have connection problems to IFS 9 since last night. There was no change to our product and both customers use different versions of our product anyway. Is there any changes done to IFS 9 like an update or an end-of-support date that happened recently? The error is (URL/username were edited):Cannot connect to IFS using URL 'http://ifsurl:60000/' and username 'IFSUSER'.Unexpected error while calling server method AccessPlsql/InvokeThe URI http://ifsurl:60000/main/compatibility/clientgateway cannot be found. Please contact your system administrator. The access to IFS 9 itself - using Entreprise Explorer and the same login information - is correct in both sites.

The employees are able to clock on shop orders that are closed. Is it possible ? If yes what is the logic behind it.

Hi All,  There is a requirement to limit one of the fields drop down values in the tab level.I was able to achieve this in the header level using the below script in the Client script.if (size(codeList) != 0) { if(codeList[0].code_value != null) { var option1 = []; for (var i=0; i<size(codeList); ++i) { var codeValue = codeList[i].code_value; var description = codeList[i].description; var opt1 = createCodeTableOption(codeValue, description); arrayPush(option1,opt1); } setControlOptions('model_param_rules', 'hierarchy_code', option1); } }But it seems the above code is not working in the tab level. Another similar thread related to the same question. Limiting DropDown value based on specific parameter | IFS Community Any idea or the example code, how to achieve this requirement in the tab level? Thanks,Hasara

Hi, I have to update my IFS Cloud 23R1 Update 5 to Update 7. I don’t find any documentation on the “Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud” site. Do you have any link about this procedure ? Thanks.

Hello,I would be really interested to hear thoughts on the following situation. I’ll use a ready meal process as an analogy. We have a process that creates a product (mash potato), from a blend of potato A (peeled potatoes) & potato B (skin on potatoes) . Both types of potato are bought in as raw material. This blend can be a range of 30%-70% potato A, but varies each time the process is run, as done by eye as exact ratio is not important. Over a year it balances out at ~50% which can be the assumption for costing. The mash potato is then immediately used in 10 different end products. E.g. 250g in 10 different types of ready meal. From a costing point of view, assuming the mash is 50% of each type is ok. However from a planning point of view, we need to work out the best way to handle & consume inventory of Potato A & Potato B, so we can trigger the reorder process. Currently, the material isn’t back flushed or issued, the inventory value is adjusted manually after a daily st
