Say that I have a requirement where I need to write a custom command or a command in the Cust layer, to fetch all the Customer Order Lines that has same ‘Planned ship date’ as the one that I have selected. So I write it as belowclient CustomerOrderLines;component ORDER;layer Cust;:command CGetSameShipDate for CustomerOrderJoin {   label = "Get Lines With Same Ship Date";   execute {      navigate { page CustomerOrderLines.List {filter(PlannedShipDate, PlannedShipDate);}}}--      navigate "page/CustomerOrderLines/List?$filter=PlannedShipDate eq $[PlannedShipDate]";}But writing like above or as a Custom command just doesn’t return any data because the entity CustomerOrderLines has timeZoneawareness set in the entity definition as  TimestampTZRef "site(Contract)";For example below line has Planned ship date/time as ‘6/28/10, 6:00 AM’ But the navigated form has the search value as ‘2010-06-28T04:00:00Z’ (and the URL query string is main/ifsapplications/web/page/CustomerOrderLines/List;$filt

Hi Experts,In IEE, user profile settings display a specific set of Order Reports based on the permission sets granted to a user.In Aurena, the same permission set is assigned through the configuration context, which should ideally result in the same set of reports being available. However, in the Aurena client, the Order Reports list displays more reports than what is shown in IEE, even though both are using the same permission set.Should the system display the same set of Order Reports consistently for a user across both Aurena and IEE based on their permission sets?

Hi,There is a requirement for an order report to be generated in Excel format. I came across an IFS document mentioning that this can be achieved via Report Plug-ins (Excel Plugin). Could someone help with this or share any documentation on how to proceed with the development? Thanks in advance.Regards

Our database is growing rapidly, and one of the key tables, EXT_FILE_TRANS_TAB, has exceeded 20 GB in size and continues to grow significantly. The standard External File Template process RemoveTrans does not appear to be purging records from this table. While transaction details are removed from Aurena, the corresponding records remain in EXT_FILE_TRANS_TAB.  The table contains entry from the external file templateSELECT segment_name AS table_name, ROUND(SUM(bytes) / 1024 / 1024 / 1024, 2) AS size_gbFROM dba_segmentsWHERE 1=1 AND segment_name = 'EXT_FILE_TRANS_TAB' AND segment_type = 'TABLE'GROUP BY segment_name; Based on the documentation :https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/030_administration/030_integration/330_ifs_applications_business_components/190_ext_files_i/?h=external+file+template#file_template_removetransThe removetrans external file will remove the old transactions. We have tried it on STDVOU file, the removetrans file did work, we are no longer able to see the tran

Hi everyone,I have some general questions regarding how MSO handles shop order and operation statuses. As far as I understand, MSO mainly considers shop orders in Planned status. However, the Planned status only exists on the shop order header level, while MSO schedules the individual operations. This is where I am currently a bit confused, especially regarding the interaction between the shop order status and the operation status. My questions are:When material is reserved, the shop order header status changes to Reserved. How does MSO handle these shop orders? Are they still considered for scheduling/rescheduling, or are they treated differently? When material is issued, the shop order header status changes to Started. What is the expected MSO behavior in this case? Also, what happens if an operation has already been started, but material has not yet been reserved or issued? How should MSO handle such a scenario? From my understanding, operations that have already been started should not

Attendance note are available in IFS APP10 as follows and they can be visible in time card as well.  How does this work in IFS Cloud? Is it still available?

Hi TeamWe are currently planning the migration of our IFS Cloud 24R2 environment from on-premises VMware infrastructure to Azure Virtual Machines, and we would like to seek your guidance on the appropriate migration approach. We are evaluating the following two options: Lift-and-Shift (Rehost): Migrating the existing VMware-based environment directly to Azure VMs with minimal changes. Redeployment (Rebuild): Rebuilding the IFS Cloud environment natively in Azure following recommended architecture and deployment practices. Our key questions are:Does IFS recommend Lift-and-Shift for IFS Cloud 24R2 environments, or is a Redeployment approach generally preferred? From your experience, what are the advantages and risks associated with each approach in the context of IFS Cloud?Additionally, since the IFS Cloud ERP application stack involves Kubernetes-based components, we would like to understand:If we proceed with Lift-and-Shift, could this introduce any potential issues with Kubernetes cl

One of our customers upgraded to 24R2 recently. The release upgrade started on 1/22/2025 and build place was updated on  3/7/2025.Now, in their Build place (DEV) environment, the application version and framework version are different. However, in the relevant TEST (useplace) environment both application and framework versions are the same. Could you please clarify,How something like this could have happened What is the impact this will have on future deliveries/fixes. What can be done to get the useplace and prod environments to the same framework version as dev.

When a Shop Order is Infinite Scheduled (unscheduled by MSO) the Operation Start and Stop Times are consecutive. Each operation step is to begin when the one prior completes. When I run MSO, the last operation step is not scheduled to begin right after the one prior. The first 2 operation steps are “Set Up” and “Test Piece” and have machine set up times. The last operation step (COA) is the actual production run and uses machine run factor. Each operation uses the same work center, resource and labor class. Each shop order is backward scheduled. The only interesting thing I have found is that the first 2 operations, when scheduled by MSO, are scheduled to run at the Start Date and leaves the 3rd operation step for a day before or day of the shop order finish date. What am I missing here?

When attempting to use the IFS REST API Task in Workflow, internal API calls always result in a 500 response error. This doesn’t occur when other, external APIs are called the same way (like https://postman-echo.com/post) which run as expected. Calling internal APIs always returns the same 500 error. The APIs worked when called through Postman, however when using the Workflow and attempting to replicate the API request, it fails. For example, here’s the api request I use to get the a Bearer token which fails in IFS Workflow but succeeds in postman:

Hello,I’ve created some workflows, deployed them and everythin OK. But when I want to undeploy them (deploying a new version of it), how can it be unlocked?Locked by Another UserThank you

We are starting to use service contracts (IFS 8) and some of our customers pay for one year in advance. Is there a way to have the service contract set up to show monthly the consumption of the prepaid dollars and then start charging when the year is used up?

Good afternoon,we updated our IFS to 25R2 since 2 weeks now and I realized a sudden change, that customer orders are falling more frequently into Blocked status due to credit limit being exceeded. The Credit limit is not new to us, but I am surprised how customer orders that have been shipped will still fall on blocked status.I noticed this because the Incoming Delivery Notifications go into status Stopped. In my opinion, if an order is released and free to be shipped, the credit check should not be applied to those orders anymore. The check should only happen at the Release stage. Anybody else having this experience with 25R2? I couldn’t find anything in the release notes, so I am not sure if it’s a bug or intended by IFS.

Hi All,Is there a way to navigate to an assistant by passing in the parameters from a lobby element. For example, Warehouse Manager Task Planning. We are trying to populate Site and Location group when navigating to this assistant.

Hi All,I wanted to check if anyone here has implemented a third-party Sales Configurator, specifically Tacton, integrated with IFS Cloud. We’re looking to better understand: How the Tacton integration with IFS was designed and implemented Key considerations during setup (e.g., CTO vs non-CTO approaches) Challenges faced during the implementation Lessons learned or best practices from your experienceAny insights, recommendations, or examples you can share would be greatly appreciated and will help us evaluate the best approach for our requirements.

Hello!I'm hoping I can get some assistance on this questionFor reporting purposes one of our branches would like us to create a GST-Exempt tax code with 0% tax and ensure this will reflect on the Tax Transactions screen. This is currently what we have set up for them, but the NA does not pull on the tax transactions If I were to create the GST- Exempt 0%, how would I ensure this gets reflected on the tax transactions report? Thanks in advance!

Please guide me through to get rid of following error and to succeed with the deletion of this record.Thanks/

It seems that you need an existing record in the Register Arrivals screen in order to select that line and then use the line-specific commands to Create the PO.  What if you’ve never created a PO for this PN?  In this case, when you search the Register Arrivals screen, there are no records and when there are not records, there is no line to select to enable the command to create PO. Thank youPatrick

Hello,We are upgrading from IFS 10 (IEE) to Cloud.  Some of our “10” users access the Time Clock from their laptops.  Is it possible for an IFS “end-user” to access the the Cloud Time Clock?  We have Time Clock IAM (service user) Clients working but would like the added flexibility. Thanks!  Troy

Hi, I have Project Misc Demand on an Activity, which I used to create and receive material in against a PO. Now I have material within the Project Inventory. I created a Work Order & Work Task connected to this activity. I then created a Material Req on the Work Task (Supply Code Project Inv) and reserved and issued the part on the Work Task. I was expecting the Project Misc Demand to also show a quantity issued of 1 but it’s still showing  in Project Misc Demand Issued Quantity of 0. Is this expected behaviour? Do I need to manually (or automate) the issuing of project misc demand, even if it’s been issued on a connected work task?  Thank you
