Hi @Tharindu Illangasinghe
No — IFS Cloud does not have a standard daily job that applies an Availability Control ID to expired or near-expiry stock.
What exists instead:
1. Expiration date already blocks automatic demand reservation
For automatic reservation, stock must not be expired (Expiration Date must be current). Expired quantities are skipped by auto-reservation without needing an Availability Control ID. Manual reservation can still pick expired stock.
2. “About to expire” is handled by shelf-life days (not Availability Control)
On the inventory part (shelf life / durability):
| Setting | Effect |
|---|
| Minimum Remaining Days at CO Delivery | Auto CO reservation only uses stock where Expiration Date > Planned Delivery Date + Min Days |
| Minimum Remaining Days for Planning | Planning / MRP / many availability checks only count stock where Expiration Date > Today + Min Days |
So near-expiry stock is excluded from auto reservation and planning dynamically — no job stamps an Availability Control ID.
