Hi,We’re running on IFS CLoud 24.1.4. Accounting is trying to close an old project which dates back from 2018, but are having issues due to project transactions which are not posted.  The transactions in question are shown below, they’re time entered by employees working in another company (multicompany transactions). I’ve tried the “transfer project cost accounting transactions” and “update gl vouchers” to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

What is the correct value to put in Earned Value Cost?I have created a DOP header connected to PJ.Depending on the Structure Depth setting, the Earned Value Cost value is different.Please let me know what value should be set for Earned Value Cost. Pattern A:DOP Parts. Community, We are testing Project Delvierables with parts that are After Delivery Serial Controlled. We are facing issue when final product is to be installed at client site, we have work order to perform this job. since it is to be issued to the delivery structure, per configuration, at this moment the serial no should be identified and captured by the delivery structure, but we have problem doing this, basically we found no place to have this info entered into IFS. We have a very simple delivery structure, top part is a manufactured part, and child is a purchased part, both are after delivery serial tracking. We now have them installed via a work order, see below, on work order material line, i can see this top part RHITEM4 is a serial controlled part. our question is, where we can add the serial no into IFS?  Thank you.

We have Work Orders that were not supposed to be attached to a Service Contract.I’ve reopened the Work Order and was able to remove the Service Contract from the WO, but I’m not abe to remove it from the work tasks.  I’m getting an error message:  Is there another way to unlink the Work Task? The amounts should not be deducted from the Service Bank and should not appear on the Service Bank Report

Hello,I have an activity that I want to delete that has a baseline.  When I try, i get an error that “The Activity is used by 1 rows in another object (Project Baseline Detail).I thought we used to have a selection that said to “exclude from project baseline” but in 21R2, I don’t see that selection.How do I go about deleting an activity if it has a baseline?Thank youPatrick

Receive the error message  -Approve is not allowed when price is missing on any line when trying to approve the forecast.Cannot find exactly where the data is missing in the setup .Need your kind advices on what further needs to be checked.Thanks  a lot .Udanee 

Hello Community,I have two query regarding project. The business requirement is to create a project quote and if won convert it to a project. In IFS which functionality can be used to cater this? Is Project Access the only way to restrict visibility/access to all projects regardless of company they belong to? i.e. User is employed by Company 123, and only has access to Company 123 in permission sets, but can currently see projects for Company 123 & Company 456. Is there a way to set up Project Teams, without having to specify which projects are included/excluded - i.e. at a company level?

Hello -We are using IFS App 10, update 23.  We have an existing company #1where employees report to projects and shop orders and are adding a new company #2 which will also have projects and shop orders.  We want employees from company #1 to report to company #2 projects and shop orders and vice versa.  Each company has it’s own site.  Employees use time registration or shop floor work bench for time reporting. I am looking for some guidance on the setup to make this happen.  Do employees need to have an employee file on both companies? Are they a resource on both companies?  What posting controls are used?  Any help would be appreciated.TIA

Hi All,When defining the project deliverables we normally copy the whole structure as a deliverable. However sometimes we need to change the item type of these items. For an instance, let’s say we have a machine with many component parts, as a project deliverable. If we are to manufacture this machine we need all the component parts created as demands for the project. So the item type for them will be ‘Material’. However, there can be instances where we need to get the whole machine from another supplier. In this case we don’t need the component parts to be created as demands for the project but we need to have them as components listed under the machine, in project deliverables design. In this case we need to change the item types for all the component parts from ‘Material’ to ‘Non-Material’.  But what makes this process difficult is that in cloud, we can only change one line at a time (as per our understanding). Hi IFS-experts,I am experience something strange when connecting a resource forecast to a project resource. On the Project Forecast the ETC value is 0 and, on the Resource Forecast the ETC value is also 0. When I make the connection between the Project Forecast and Resource Forecast the ETC value is recalculated to -99.382.My expectation was that it would be the same as the ETC in Resource Forecast and Project Forecast. I am trying to understand how the logic is working in IFS. If someone can enlighten my knowledge about how this should be working, then I would be very glad about that.

We are working on a process where ALL billing is done from the project.  The process involves creating a Custom Order (CO) from the Business Opportunity (Bus Opp) and then setting those lines to Not Invoiceable.  On the projects side, an invoice plan would be made for an amount that includes the CO Line.  In order that an invoice is not created from the CO, the CO line(s) is set to Not Invoiceable.On the project, the Planned Revenue for these order lines is being included.  It is my thought that if the line is Not Invoiceable that the amount on this line should not be included as a planned revenue.Does anyone have any thoughts on this?Patrick

We plan to use consignment stock and link customer order to a project. Got error message that consignment stocks are not allowed for project connected customer orders. Why is this?Any basic data setup that will allow? Is there a workaround?We are using UPD10.17

When a user is trying to delete time reporting hours on his time card  in LIVE environment it shows an error as “It is not possible to add value for Report Code as it is not defined as a resource criteria”  However, when he tries to delete time reporting entry in Test Environment, it prompts an error as “It is not possible to add value for Employee Category as it is not defined as a resource criteria”  User is in Aurena UPD10 (both Live and Test). Is this a bug in the application or basic data setup missing? Please advise. 

Hi All,I have a question from Project Management related to Gantt Chart and Activity Progress during the project scheduling process. When we tried to schedule a project by having an Activity progress (Example- 50%), we could not see its reflection in the Gantt. Could you please let me know the followingsHow the Activity progress getting reflected in the Gantt? Based on the progress completion, is there any place in the Gantt or screen where we could see the remaining days. HI all,when using supply code “Project Deliverables” in customer order line I have the following question:In this scenario the user has to decide if the part will be reserved, picked and delivered via customer order (if needed inclusive shipment) or via Project Deliverables (PD), in combination with a shipment plan, right?So via PD the manufactured part will be produced and put on project stock, the reservation, picking and delivery will be done via customer order or if needed shipment (with order as source ref type). A shipment plan in PD does not make sense as the part cannot be picked twice obviously.The only reason I see using customer order with PD is having the object customer order at hand (for invoicing and all other functions the order is offering).BUT: would not supply code “Project Inventory” offer the same functionality? so what is the difference to supply code “Project Deliverables”?What is the actual IFS-business-process for su
