Hi, I am trying to post P13 journals, with user group YE and journal type M. But I am getting the following error message: Ledger Account 1510 is only permitted for Vouchers with Function Group Q. How do I add Function Group Q as well as Function Group M within the Voucher Series per Voucher Type? Thanks!

Hi We are trying to add work location on our employees via projection. By Work Location i mean the work location tab under employee file → Employment → Assignment. Via devtools we find that IFS itself uses this call: /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PersonnelFileEmployementAssignmentsHandling.svc/CompanyPersonSet(CompanyId='XX',EmpNo='TEST1234')/AssignmentEmployeeWorkLocationSet. But when doing this ourselves we have a problem. Because in the request body we are required to send SeqNo. But we dont know how to get this. In the database it is an easy SEQUENCE.NEXTVAL. How do we do something similar to that nextval functionality with projections. The only alternative i can see right now is to do a Get call that gets all Employee Work Locations and then find the highest and add +1. But this seems like a bad solution.We are on 10.8 right now

Hi,We have an assortment with parts that are set to be refilled with Shipment Order:  If we select “Receive into Inventory” for the Remote Warehouse in the Receive Case, it works fine, but obviously, the parts arrived in the picking inventory location as soon as the shipment is delivered.The business would prefer it if the parts were first in a sort of transit state as they want the remote warehouse operator (the remote warehouses are typically work vans and the operators are the van drivers and they use IFS MWO Service) to confirm receipt of the delivery (this must happen in the mobile device) before the parts are made available in the remote warehouse.We cannot use Transport Tasks with move to transit option as the main warehouse absolutely requires the use of “Pick by Choice” which is only available from a

Deare All, i came across a strange situation when creating/updating prices for Service Contract - Service Lines.When we create a ‘New Service Line’ we can use the invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ what gives us the ability to add a Sales Part for invoicing purposes. But I notice 2 issues:The Price always comes from the Sales Part and completely ignores the existing Pricing Logic => this is very confusing and seems to be nonsensical There is no ability to set a QuantityThere is however a business need to be able to put Quantities here. Dear All, I believe I am experiencing an issue with the Price Calculation with Service Contract Periodic Prices for Service Lines.In IFS cloud, we can create a Service Contract. In this contract we add a ‘Service Line’ with invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ so we can select a Sales Part that will be used for the invoicing of this Service. When we use the ‘Expand’ functionality to go into the details of the Service Line, we have a tab called ‘Periodic Prices’ - where we also have the functionality ‘Retrieve Sales Part Price’. When we click this we get a pop-up that says: “Periodic Price and Discount will be replaced with the values based on the Price Logic. Hi, One of our customers use traditional way of picking items from warehouse against the picklist. We have designed a solution to propose a project based scenario. Hi, I can’t seem to figure out what permissions or grants I need to provide to enable the end user to select the Warehouse ID, Bay ID, Row ID etc etc in the Create Count Report screen. These options are greyed out. They can select the Site they have access too but not other options, any advice would be appreciatedThanksRavi ​​​​​​

Currently the soft overtakes using $SEARCH and $REPLACE is only supported in the  PLSQL, PLSVC and VIEWs files.Modifying client/projection core logic therefore requires full overtake even though it can be done using a simple search and replace.In my opinion, this should be available for client, projection and fragments so developers could minimize big overtakes.Creating this as a conversation before submitting as an idea to get other developer opinion since for us, this has beginning to become a problem and we want to avoid customizations with overtakes to maintain evergreen as much as possible.I’m glad to hear others’ opinion on this and the experience so far with cloud developments. FSM Mobile has a limitation on its login screen. Once a user is activated and logs in, it doesn't allow changing the user if another technician wants to use the application. We would like to find a solution so that the user can switch users whenever desired. I believe this is a code-level change, where can I find the class to make this customization and what is needed to have this functionality? 

Currently evaluating upgrading to utilize Lidar laser equipment to measure raw materials in silos.  Was wondering if anyone is currently using this type of solution or another solution that works well.  Would love any feedback.  

Brazeway will send lot controlled materials to an outside supplier that are then cut or machined into a different part that is also lot controlled.  However, there is no way to know what lot number of raw material went into the lot number of the machined part.  This is similar to an “As Built” Structure available on manufactured items.  Oh, by the way, the supplier may not tell us what goes into what.Has anyone encountered this situation and if so, how did you resolve it?  Thanks!!

Hello! My company is exploring options to reduce the number of calls that come in asking for tracking numbers on customer orders. On our Shipment screen, when orders are processed through our shipping software, tracking info is automatically populated in the Master Tracking No column in the Freight Transactions tab. Could we write a custom event that would email the  Receiver of the Shipment whenever that master tracking number is imported? If so, how could we go about doing this?Thanks!

Hello Please is it possible to modify customer ownership during an RMA in IFS Cloud 24R1? 

Is it possible to debug PL/SQL code in IFS Cloud? If so, how does one configure it. I’m unable to figure out how to call the Dbms_Network_Acl_Admin.Append_Host_Ace procedure necessary to create the required ACL no matter what I’ve tried. Build Place obviously. Know Use Places wouldn’t be possible or I’d be surprised if you could.

We are required to log the serial numbers of parts for a new type of job we have taken on. Currently we have a lookup field for the part and a separate field for the serial where we will scan the barcode for entry. We then press a save button which has a  script for a data transaction to update the part_usage table. The issue we have is that the serial number needs to be recorded on the part_usage_serial This would require a separate transaction but the pu_id from the first transaction would be required as a key to link the tables.  Also because the part is flagged as having a serial number the original transaction fails.  In the smart client when you enter the part_usage a box pops up to enter the serial number and it all works. How do I achieve this on the mobile application?

Where invoicing is generated from a Service Contract or a Request Contract, the final invoice does not have a reference to the original contract, which is a common requirement to display on the invoice document.Currently, any invoices generated from the request contract create firstly an invoice preview, then a customer order and lastly the invoice. These are the references available:On the Invoice Preview, the Work Task / WO number is available, but not the Request Contract On the Customer Order, the reference is the Invoice Preview Number On the Customer Order invoice, the reference is the Customer Order numberIdeally, there should be additional references available at all levels to the Request number and the Request Contract number, as well as Standard Command buttons to allow users to navigate to the source contract/Request / Work Task. 

I am trying to add a user to the Invoice Posting Authorizers screen, but the user does not come up when I start to type their name. Supposedly the only two prerequisites for this are that the user exists in the Person window - which they do. And there should also be authorization group IDs defined in the Authorization Combination Rules window - which there are. And this user is parts of that authorization group. Why doesn’t their name appear when I try to add them?

I have created a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that has a parameter @OrderNo. Next I created a custom menu on the Customer Order screen that maps the parameter:  Source = ORDER_NO  Destination:  @OrderNo On doing RMB and selecting the custom menu the @OrderNo parameter is displaying the Order No for the Customer Order that was in view at the time which is what I expected.  However, when the report is displayed no data is being displayed. If I run the report in Crystal Reports and enter the Order No the report displays data. I have tried selecting View on the Quick Report and entering the Order No in the parameter field and again no data is being displayed. Any ideas?   John
