Hello,

I tried to add Custom Fields to the SourceLinesAvailableForShipment, “Available Lines for Shipments” in the navigator.

Page Info

Previously in Apps 10 the View for this LU was SOURCE_LINE_SHIPMENT_ALT and was associated to the LU CustomerOrderLine. My goal is to migrate the Custom Fields from Apps 10 to IFS Cloud. I could not find any other entity that has the SOURCE_LINE_SHIPMENT as an additional view.

In the Entity Configuration there is no entry for SourceLinesAvailableForShipment. I also found that the name for this Entity is too long. How can this be? Is this a bug in IFS Cloud?

Tried to define the searched entity

Is there anyone else who has encountered this problem?

Best regards
Christian

Hi @TEFCRFU,

With this query, I can easily retrieve the entity name from the view name entered in the WHERE clause:

select LU_NAME from DICTIONARY_SYS_VIEW_ACTIVE where VIEW_NAME = 'SOURCE_LINE_SHIPMENT'

Best Regards,

Théo

Hi @TEFCRFU,

For creating custom fields on this screen, the entity appears to be "ShipmentSourceUtility".

I don't understand why the entity is incorrect. In any case, you can use "ShipmentSourceUtility" as a basis for creating your custom field.
For your information, the entity seems to only support read-only fields.

Best Regards,

Théo

Hi Théo @TheoB ,

I can create reading custom fields that way:

Test CF

How did you manage to find out that ShipmentSourceUtility is the right Entity??

Best regards

Christian

Hi Théo,

thank you very much for your help. Much appreciated.

I also found out that the comment on the View also includes the LU Name.

Best regards
Christian
