Hello IFS Community,

I am trying to change an operation (Report Picking), and I am receiving the following error message:
“There is no shipment location defined for site SC-CP.”    => IFS24 R2

Hi @ZTC ZTC JGOTA,

This could be because you don't have any “Shipment” type locations defined for you particular site under the warehouse navigator.

In addition to that, you can define a default shipment location in Site > Shipment Management.

Hi Uvina,

I am also trying to setup the Default Shipment Location and came across this post. Currently on 24R2 as well.

I have these 2 locations defined as ‘Shipment’ Location Type under Site below.

However, I am not able to select the locations at Site Level.

I was told by IFS support that there is a ‘Default Warehouse’ in Shipment Management that need to be setup, but I am not seeing such field here.

Could you please advise?

Thanks.

Regards,

Terry

Hi @TerryT

A default shipment location can be defined per site and per supply chain relation. A default shipment type defined per supply chain relation has the highest priority. This location is retrieved automatically when creating a shipment either manually or automatically.

Please use the “find” search icon and give your location number as follows. Let me know whether you can see the relevant shipment location.

Hi Nikila,

I posted my question before leaving office yesterday but to my surprise this morning, I can now see the locations for selection.

I was troubleshooting with IFS support for hours without any luck.

All good now. Thanks for your reply.

Regards,

Terry
