Does anybody know if the HTTP Certificate expiry date is held in a view/table? The reason for asking is I wanted to set up in Application Monitoring a query to advise when the certificate is coming up for expiry, e.g. 30 days notice. Recently, only by carrying out a delivery installation did we get notice that this was due to expire in 9 days. I don’t want it to be this close again. I have a notification in Outlook Calendar but just wondered. Thank you for looking.

Search available fields in configure search dialog

Hello, IFS has added search capability in the column chooser, and the very handy “go to column” right mouse option. One place where it would be nice to search is in the search dialog, Configure Search Fields. Are there any plans to add the “search” option at the top of the available and show columns?

Migrating my changes from an environment A to environment B

Hi,I am new in IFS system and I have huge implementations that involves many windows. Is there an option to export/import to migrate between many environments?Somebody that works with me told me that I need to replicate manually all my changes in each environment. Calculating Custom Fields - Apps 8

HiI have created 3 new custom numeric fields, 2 will be manual entries and the 3rd I would like to add the numbers from the first 2 fields. Is this possible in Apps 8?If so does this need to be done via a custom event? Would be much appreciated if it is possible for some to send a screen shot of how. Below is a screen shot of the fields I am referring to, and the one circled is the field I want the calculation to appear.

Showing Coordinator of external customer order in shipment as custom field within IC workflow

Hello all,we want to see the coordinator (authorize_code) of the external customer order in an inter-company process in the shipment-header of the supply site.I created the following three-step-logic which is working ok. But does anyone of you have a smarter way of finding the right coordinator? Is there someone that knowns any problem with sql server and updating of the IFS cube. We use SQL server 2017 and IFS 10? We find that the database is being updated by the scheduled jobs but the cubes aren’nt.

Functional vs End User Permission Sets

I know the topic of IFS permissions is never as black and white as we would hope, and each business may have a different view on how it should be implemented.We are now required to comply with SOX due to US ownership, so Segregation of Duties (SOD) plays a big part in regular audits! In addition, the existing permission sets developed previously have become unmanageable for the team and is difficult to report on access to management or auditors. This has effectively triggered a re-build of our permission sets across our business. I have started to build new functional permission sets to group specific access together which is common across the business. For example, MANAGE_PUR_ORDER, MANAGE_WORK_ORDER, AUTHORIZE_PO, VIEW_SUPPLIER, APPROVE_INVOICE and MANAGE_CASE which within has all the relevant screen/database access for those areas. We know around Finance, HR and Payroll modules we may need to be more granular with the functional PS controls. These functional permission sets are then

Conditional Formatting on Material Status

Hello, I am attempting to make it easier for Shop Floor users to understand when there is a material shortage on Shop Floor Workbench. Currently, on the materials tab, there is a red exclamation if a certain material is short. Is it possible to use conditional formatting to highlight that row to make the problem more visual? I have not seen a way or column on that tab where it could be setup. I’m assuming there is something that enables that status alert, but I cannot find the column to use for CF. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,I’m after a printed report.Once a report (in my case an invoice) has been printed I can find a table with it’s XML, but not the PDF document.What I would like to do, is to create a document of the report once it’s been printet.Is there a standard way to set that up or could it be done with code?

On trying to log into IFS the user is receiving Contact the Vendor instead of the login screen. I have managed to get the user going by changed the default web browser from Edge to Internet Explorer. Can you please advise.

Errors when creating permission sets in IFS10

We have are seeing some strange behaviour when creating and testing permission sets and was wondering if anyone else has seen this.After creating a functional permission set we assign it to an empty test-end user role. We then in turn grant this end user role to a test end user.Sometimes when logging in we get error messages such as the one shown below. When checing the functional role we can see that all methods for the quoted API are granted. This happens for any random functional role and any number of API’s.The only work around we have found is to re-assign the functional role to another end user role and then assign the end user role to another end user. After having refreshed the security cache we no longer get the error message.We have also tried to refresh dictionary and reference cache but that makes no difference. IFS have even provided us with a script that clears down the whole dictionary cache, but even that made no difference.

How can I place multiple elements in one green box in Lobby design-mode?This is for visual layout. I noticed this Lobby has it, but can’t figure out in design mode how they did it. 3rd Party API with IFS Connect

Hi, I was hoping someone could help with setting up IFS Connect to send time registration to a 3rd party api. I have created a test custom event where new or changed time registration information is submitted to IFS. My 3rd part company has an API for create time sheet eg https://api.company.com/createtimesheet . So I need to send the API key and respective time-sheet data from IFS. I am just ensure of the routing address/application message setup part. Would appreciate some screen shots of working example if possible
