I created a new file reader, including the routing address, routing rule and transformer etc. Then I added this new file reader to the [CONNECTORS] of CONNECT_SERVER1. But it doesn’t work. It never read files from the specificate path. So do I need to restart the CONNECT_SERVER1 to let the new file reader effective? If so, how to do this in APPS8? Thanks in advance.

HiIn EE it is possible to filter the fields in a LoV selector by a value in the main form using a SQL query search similar to the following:CUSTOMER_NO = i_hWndParent.frmOrderQuotation.dfsCustomerNoDoes anything like this functionality exist on Aurena yet?  The only way I have found is to click the Find button on the LoV and then search for the Quotation No in this example.  This is a number of extra clicks and will not be appreciated by our CustomersThanksGareth

Hi, I've recently noticed with some shipment ids that the handling unit view on the shipment screen > handling unit structure tab changes between HANDLING_UNIT_SHIPMENT and HANDLING_UNIT_HISTORY_SHPMNT. Is there a reason behind this happening? we have custom fields on HANDLING_UNIT_SHIPMENT that get used in some documents which is not pulling to the _REP view depending on the shipment id. 

Hello, I’ve been trying to find some literature on the difference between Copy Link and Copy Data Link and the practical use of the latter. I understand Copy Link can be shared with another user (as long as they have the right permissions) to share your search. What is the function of Copy Data Link?

We have a custom logical unit populated by another system that has a list of codes for suppliers. Custom LU attributesVendor Id Code Number DescriptionA supplier can have 1 or more codes, but the user needs to select a single code for a Purchase Order based on a sub-select of codes for the supplier of the purchase order. I’ve created a custom field on the purchase order which is a ‘Reference’ to the LU view. But I’m stuck on how to get the LOV to only show the values for the specific supplier (it currently shows all the rows in the LOV view). Should I be using a Custom Enumeration instead? All of our existing enumerations are static, so I’m not sure if it’s possible to have dynamic enumerations. TIA

 Hello,I am trying to add a custom field on a custom page on IFS Cloud. There are already 40 custom fields that are being displayed by default in the table view.However, the newly added field appears in the page designer but not on the page.I have to go to the Table View Settings and add it manually.Each user will have to add it manually so that the field is displayed.Is there a limitation in the number of fields that are displayed by default or is there a way to make the custom field appear by default in the Table View? I am using  - IFS Aurena client version: 21.2.1.20211105061905.0Thanks in advance,Mélanie

Hi All Will you know if the Row Level Security is evergreen ?SO to speak, at the time some WHERE clause are added to standard views, at the time a new relasse of IFS Cloud is installed, does the installation will keep the WHERE clause in the customer environnement ? Best regards and take care.Eric

 Hello. I have a problem with Crystal Reports. (IFS 10 UPD9)I can’t run crystal reports in Aurena.  (Only AURENA)I get error 500 :  I tried to reconfigure IFS and reinstall Crystal - it didnt help. In Enterprise Explorer reports works without problems. 

Hello,When I use the current External File upload it validate with the missing Rule Types and pops up an error. I need to by pass that and enter correct records relevant window and , get an output file with the success and failed records. Could any one suggest a way to implement this scenario?Thanks,Janu

Hi all,It is documented here where to copy the certificate file to to be automatically deployed into keystore (for instance, during AutoBuilder): https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/foundation1/020_installation/400_installation_options/003_security/020_configure_outbound_ssl/default.htm That is fine.My question is:Is there a way that the certificate file is put into Harvest, and then during AutoBuilder or delivery package creation it automatically gets copied to that import folder?It would make its deployment easier at customer sites. ThanksJanos

Hello Everyone,I have found a couple different threads regarding printing and receiving this “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” error.  Unfortunately I’m not sure that any of those were able to give me a solution.We have a process that is supposed to print a new Crystal report we created.  If it runs through the process it receives the error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”.  However if I then just reprint it sending it to the same printer there is no issue.  This can be seen in this screenshot: Would this be some type of permissions issue with the report that I am missing?  I looked at the presentation object that we created and IFSPRINT does have authority to the presentation object.Here is our crystal log if that helps as well, but it actually looks like there isn’t any

Hi,I am trying to authenticate with IFS 10 using Azure AD. That authentication works correctly when Aurena or Entreprise Explorer are used. When trying to access from an external .NET program, it is not working. The token seems to be wrong and an "Error 401--Unauthorized" error is returned. The original program is a WPF application but I written a console app to extract (and rework) the authentication logic but the result is still the same one. Do you know how to combine two branches and make one topic environment?I have a situation where an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch1 (CRIM1) ends with an installation error, due to a missing column in one of the tables.This column is added in Branch2 (CRIM2), but an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch2 (CRIM2) results in a DB generation error, because it does not find a file that is in Branch1 (CRIM1).So we have a deadlock.From what I have already learned, I can combine two branches into additional one (third branch) and only then create a topic environment.Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this.Could someone describe step by step how to do? Should this extra (third) branch later be merged to Master?Thank you in advance 8-)

Hi , currently we are using IFS Cloud 22R1 , and we want to inbound CSV via IFS Connect FTP Reader , then pass it to PL/SQL type Address. While, seems IFS only  has package to process xml and json:Plsqlap_Document_API.From_Xml https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/060_development/200_all_ref_manuals/api_ref_itd/plsqlap/document_methods/#parse-an-xml-document-to-a-document So, is there any package to process CSV file? any example?  

Hopefully this is a quick question. I have some logic that changes the shipment inventory location on pick lists using Customer_Order_Pick_List_API.Modify_Ship_Inventory_Loc_No after they are created. It only needs the pick list # and the new location no. I’m running it with Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call to avoid mutating tables. How do I pass those parameters?
