We have an interest in adding encryption to our oracle databases and need to know if APPS 10 supports Oracle TDE and how we would need to purchase that add on if it does.
If anyone has the answer that would be very helpful.
Does APPS 10 Support Oracle TDE? If it does do we purchase the TDE through IFS or directly from Oracle?

You should be able to use TDE without any issues with Apps10. Please refer to the community article below which would provide you with some input related to this. There is also a link to a Oracle blog that provides performance benchmarks which might be useful to you.
Where to purchase the required licenses for Oracle Advanced Security will depend on how you are currently licensed for your IFS instances. If you are running IFS Oracle ASFU license, you would need to purchase the additional option through IFS. If you are running your own Oracle licenses that is not ASFU, you can directly buy the option from your Oracle provider.,

If you are on an IFS AFSU license model then your Oracle database software is licensed through IFS and you need to reach out to IFS to purchase any additional Oracle products.
If you procured database software directly from Oracle then you can reach to them through your Oracle Support identifier.
Most IFS customers are on the AFSU model.
