IN APPS 7 we had a set up that an invoice couldn’t be registered if the PO was raised in a different entity.  However in APPS10 we can currently log an invoice with a PO from different entity and only get an error when trying to finally post How can we set up that IFS will warn/reject invoice before being registered?

In Apps8 environment trying to run a report for an annual audit to show all financial transactions from Oct to Dec 2020. The report path is Operational Reporting > Order Report > General Ledger Report With Counter Account. Running the report is very slow, and November could not be run successfully even after waiting 3 hours with the process running in the backgrounds. There is another way to run an excel based download of all journals through the “GL Voucher Analysis” function. This returned 102,237 records which took about 4 hours to extract to excel, but  that excel file only has 100,000 rows of data implying some are missing due to output channels maximum no of row limitation. Can you advise the best , most efficient way to get these reports run for auditing?

Dear reader,With Posting Type M100 and Control type C58 you can set codeparts to ‘mandatory preposting for Purchase Requisitions (PR). This is useful for manually entered Purchase Requisitions. However it is not wanted on PR’s on for instance Shop Orders (Ship WIP to Supplier).Unfortunately with this setting also the PR at Ship WIP to Supplier must be preposted first before you can proceed.Is there a way to avoid this? I have thought of excluding ‘system-defined’ Requisitioners (the PR for ship WIP to supplier is created with system-defined requisitioner SO). Is there a reason why we would not b able to see a customer in the Customer Credit Analysis report? Have populated this screen and we have a customer who doesn’t appear, is there something that needs added to their set up?

Can I create Income Statement Based on Code part in Business Reporter. Client requirement is to create code part D as a profit center so they want P&L based on profit center for a month. Not sure how to set the logic.

Dear IFS Community. I am interested to know if it is possible to Calculate Fixed Asset depreciation based on usage. I.e. if we have a fixed asset that is an engine worth 500,000 can we depreciate it based on the amount of hours it has run. For example its life is 5000 hours so for each 100 hours it runs can we depreciate the fixed asset, rather than to a calendar as the usage is not linear in line with dates, Thanks, David. 

We have a situation where customers make payments for invoices, but as invoice amounts are the same they are incorrectly allocated.What is the correct functionality to use to modify allocated payments? The credit control team have been using customer payment roll back, but they are unable to do this when the bank reconciliation has marked the payment as ‘matched’.Any guidance appreciated, the workaround of putting on a 0 value payment we are using isn't the greatest.   

Is there anyway I can get the complete list of Standard Financial Reports (AR/AP/GL/Cash)  and some samples if possible?  

We are setting up an integration with Vertex O Cloud and they are using Company Code as they key to determine what environment it is coming from (TEST, PROD).   Since we copy our Prod Database to our Test environment we have the same company codes on our orders.     How are other people setting up their test environments to work with vertex?  

We have an organization position that’s used in a matrix organization structure for two companies which is not used. There are no employees assigned to this position.When trying to delete it, the error ‘The Company Position ":P1" is used by another object/s.’ is displayed and when checking the business logic, I can see that there is a record in business_unit_relation_tab which is preventing the deletion and popping up of the said error.I’m struggling to remove this from the application as I can’t find a window from where to access business_unit_relation_tab record. Is there any documentation on how to delete an unnecessary organization position? Or someone who has done this before? I couldn’t find anything relevant in the F1 Help.TIA

A user created a parked payment which we are now trying to correct and move it to a customers account.  We have not used this feature before and not sure how to do this.  Does anyone have experience with these transactions to provide guidance on how to accomplish this?    We think she somehow created it by unmatching a payment she incorrectly entered.  Mixed payment form right click canceled matching.Essentially we would like it all cancelled so it can be reentered however would settle for it being moved to the customer’s account.Thank you! 

Higood day;i need a supplier report to display the supplier payable , GRN balance , Advanced Balance, Net Balancefor each supplier.is it available in the system or not ?if not  what is the required sql statement ?we are using IFS9.Thanks in advance. 

We would like to recognize purchase price variance on receipt of inventory vs when an invoice is processed.  Is it possible to do this?  Is there an associated posting control that we can setup to help us with this?

Hi,An invoice has been created and printed but not posted to the ledger.Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M28 control type C15 code part C in company AEL.I have added the required detail since the error was created, how do I now get the invoice to post?

We have noticed that the State Message ID field on the Posting Proposal window is not updating after the po has been received. the PO Status is Closed, but the State Message Id and detail information still indicates that the Arrival is missing on the entered Purchase Order The Lines have been entered on the Invoice and when we RMB ->Match PO Receipts per Line the details are returned in the Post from Purchase Order window so the Register Arrivals have been done.  

 I’m using the company assistant to create company.system display this error.

Can we change the theme color in Apps10 other than these 4? Or can we modify the colors as we like for one of these four?Thank You

When producing Customer Account Statements there is a checkbox on the Options tab “Batch Printout”.  This is checked by default. When checked we only get 1 pdf file of ALL statements.  Whereas when unchecked we get 1 statement for each account.As we want to email customer statements we would needs separate statements so the user would have to remember to uncheck the checkbox each time they are produced.Is it possible to set the default to ‘unchecked’? Thank you for looking.

Our account changed from ledger/tax account to manual bookings account. Now it’s not possible to change setting in IFS or book with M voucher. I tried to remove marks from Ledger Account and Tax Account, but when saving I received the message below:

We recently implemented doing automatic payments (ACH) transactions for suppliers.  I would like a report similar to the Supplier Check Payment Report for these payments.  Does anyone know of a place or at least a query where I can get a date range for automatic payments?The 1099 report isn’t working correctly, so I need to know what we have paid suppliers with the automatic payments to get good dollar values for the 1099’s.
