We are having a problem where cost set 3 (latest purchase price) and 4 (average purchase price) is not populating (showing as $0.00) on all parts. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this issue?

If you want the Total Accumulated Cost in Cost Set 3 to be updated with the Latest Purchase Price, there are two steps to accomplish that.

  1. Calculate Purchase Costs as mentioned by Christy will populate the column for the Latest Purchase Price - but only if the Cost Set itself has ever been calculated
  2. Then to move that to the Total Accumulated in Cost Set 3, you would have to calculate Cost Set 3 for that part.

(see example below - CS4 has not been calculated, so you don’t see LPP or APP for that set, but 1, 2, 3, and 7 have been calculated and when the Calculate Purchase Cost routine is run - you have to run it twice, once for average, once for last purchase, then it will show for all calculated cost sets)

Cost Set 3 was 0 (because we don’t use it) until I just calculated it.

Hello -

The calculate purchase costs needs to run before the average/latest purchase costs will update.  You can find this in the navigation menu.
