We see no impact on the ‘shop order finish date’ in case of a reconfirmation of an external operation (say the confirmed lead time is 2 months, where the pre-filled purchase lead time is 1 month). Is there a setting/ possibility to see the impact of a reconfirmation on the the ‘shop order finish date’? Kind regards, Bart

We are using V10 IEE. Our business wants to schedule PM work orders out several years, to 2027. The Maintenance Plan for every PM Action we create will only plan work out to the end of next calendar year, Dec. 2025 in this case. This is observed across multiple sites and calendars used, even when the calendars are generated well past 2027.How do we get the Maintenance Plan to push planned work out multiple years ahead?  

Hi Experts:We have resource A where he is normally working for two types of jobs, Active and Passive. We have one dataset for ACTIVE and other one for PASSIVE.Question is How we can allocate the same resource into two datasets but job allocations should not conflicts?EX:If the resource A is allocated to a Task in dataset ACTIVE, at the same time he should not be allocated for any job in Dataset PASSIVE. Good Day,We are currently running FSM 6 U25 and using mobile iOS.  I have been asked to provide synchronization history by certain device id or person id.  I have located login and logout history, but I cannot find any record related to sync other than last synchronization date and time in person mobile which is overridden with the last dttm each time synced.  Any options already available to capture this data?Thank you!

Hi All,We’re trying to figure out what the data source for this is in PSO: If I make changes to this in Scheduling Resources, it doesn’t seem to have an effect on the shift start/end I have tried sending the changes to the dataset, but that didn’t seem to change anything. Thanks,Rob

Hi All, As a case I am a Service Technician trying to report a Work Order performed for a customer.In IFS Cloud I used the lobby ‘Service Technician’ to travel to the customer and start my work. Now I want to issue materials that I am using during my job. I succeeded in issueing materials that are ‘Company Owned’ but how do I issue material that is ‘Customer Owned’?I’m in ‘Work Details’ and I click on ‘Material’ Here I can add “new material”But there does not seem to be an option to say that the material is ‘Customer Owned’ (because I used an unforeseen part from the customer’s own stock, but I would still like to track that it has been replaced at this intervention)  What is the solution here? How can the service technician easily report back to the back office that a piece from the customer’s own stock was used to repair this machine? Best RegardsRoel

Hi,I am hoping someone can answer a few questions we are having with regards upgrading our current on premise FSM environment to release FSM6U25.IFS Support tells us to go to IFS Consultancy who immediately price up a SOW just to look at envionment or else to ask questions here.Initial installed was by IFS consultants. Just trying to initially upgrade DEV envionment. Our Webclient/Mobile clients are run off a DMZ App server and our App server behind firewall is running smartclient and is on same subnet as DB server. DMZ App server has following virtual directories.FSMServer, FSMDEV, FSMDEV_MOBILE, FSMDEV_WEBCLIENT, FSMTEST….The options on the upgrade screen are FSM Database , FSM Application Server Web/Smart clients  and FSM Mobile Service.After selecting FSMServer and c:\intepub\wwwroot\FSMServer, upgrade DEV envionmentIt then asks to connnect to SQL DB server and FSMDEV db.As far as I know there were no ports open for named pipes between DMZ and backend DB server, but yet it was inst

Hi All, What is the easiest way to extract a list of Spare Part Usage on Functional Object ‘X’?So we have a production machine that is currently a Functional Object (It’s not a Serial Object because it was never serialized). And we would likt to know what parts were issued on the Functional Object in the last 5 years (from Work Tasks).And if possible we would extend the search to multiple machines so we can get an overview of average spare part usage and possible abnormalities where a spare part was significantly quicker replaced then average.best RegardsRoel

Hi All, I’m wondering about the process of using a Work Task Template for a Service contract (through PM actions). I noticed that I can enter my Work Task Template when I create the Service Contract Line, but that does not seem to do anything… I need to add the Work Task template again when I am creating the Pm action > ‘Jobs and Templates’, otherwise WO generation does not use the Work Task Template. So my question is: what is the use of adding the Work Task Template under the Service Contract line  ‘Execution’ ? What is the added benefit?    The details process steps I used:So I started to create my Service contract and adding Service Contract Line. Hello, does anyone know how to change the colour of the shift on the gantt, so that travel time can also be seen? For my dataset, the time between the activities is coloured with dark grey, so the travel time is seen only when I hover on it. Usually, there is a light grey, as far as I’ve seen. I have tried various colour parameters for my profile, but nothing seems to work. I am probably missing something.Thank you very much.Iulia

Hi Team, I would like to know about possibility of restricting access to outside vendors. This vendor portal can be used to see the tasks which are assigned to vendors in bulk, and they should simply be able to update task completion status from this portal.In our case customer doesn't want to give access of FSM 6 platform to vendors.And don't allow them to access to IFS mobile too. Can someone help us to understand the ways to implement above scenario. Thanks,Vamsi.

Hello, Is there a way to disable the “hover” capabilities of the global menu? Currently if the user’s mouse passes over the global menu icon it automatically “flies out” their short cuts.  The user must then click it repeatedly to get it to go away.   Thanks,Dan

Hi,I have upgraded a test environment to 6.12.0.15.Everything in terms of services etc. are working. However I am having an issue with the PSO Workbench. I can see Error’s stating there is an Invalid Time Value. Everything in terms of set-up sys params etc. have remained the same, but post updated the Workbench is throwing this error and when in the workbench I cannot see Resources, Activities, Events, Applications etc.In the scheduling workspace the time is showing as;I have a regular time update set to go from FSM also to move the day along. Any idea what I have done wrong? Ady

Hello,In audits, it's been observed that resources are being sent to PSO from Cloud End, however, there seems to be a discrepancy as these resources are not visible in the PSO WB. Can anyone shed light on why this might be happening or offer suggestions for troubleshooting this issue? 

Hi!Is there a way to pass a value into a client script that’s called with the executeScript() function with the Smart Client?I’d like to use a script like a function.  Pass a value in and get a result out.The last time I tried this I used a non-database field on the screen to store a value.  The downside to this was the client would ask the user to save when the value changes even though “In Database” was unchecked for the field in custom metadata.Thanks,

Hi , I am not able to save start date and end date as filter , every time I login I have to manually add them. Is there a way to save it ?
