FSM Web Client - My Teams Escalations

I have a customer that will only be using FSM Web Client and not FSM Smart Client. They have a requirement to view Escalations assigned to their team. The standard screen ESCALATIONSTEAM would meet the requirement, but I am able to view in Web Client. Does anyone know if this is by design before I create a custom screen to do almost the same as baseline?

How to create a substitute maps: Wildcard used for resolving substitution variables in notification messages

Hi experts, I need to add the request.access_group variable in a notification message which is sent when an escalation is created. So, I have thought of starting from the escalation table, then moving to quote table and then moving to request table, and from there getting the access group value. In my notification message, I have included {{request.access_group}}.This is the Substitution map I have created which is giving an empty value in the email.How can I get this to work? FSM Mobile - Updating Travel/Work times on (baseline) task status change

Hi All,I want to capture the Actual Start and Travel Times when changing the task status in the FSM mobile app (via the baseline functionality). So I can use the data inmidiatly after a status change.I now have to wait until the sync message has been sent to the client, which then updates the task status, and then the actual start or travel date is pushed to mobile. This takes some time.I tried to capture the datetime via a Value Change script on the Task Status field, but that won’t be triggerd.

Reason from activity_status not in broadcast

From what I can tell, when a reason field on the activity_status object is updated we are not seeing a broadcast including that field. We are looking to repopulate that field after an initialization as well as track externally the various reasons why users are making changes to statuses. Are status updates typically included in broadcasts and more specifically the “reason” field? How else would we be able to ensure that value is persisted when running the initialization everyday?

Difference between Colour Activities by Activity and Activity Type in PSO

Hello, does anyone know what is the difference between Activity and Activity type for Colour Activities in PSO? As far as I’ve seen in the Legend, there are exactly the same colors for both of them. How to generate GUID in FSM?

Hi,We need a solution to generate GUID in FSM. It cannot be a counter, it cannot be only numeric, it needs to be asymmetric and random. The result of NEWID() sql function is exactly what we need.Currently, in our test environment, we have set up a trigger on the table to create it after-insert into one of user_defX fields.Is there any other way?

FSM Client Script ListView set field read only

Hi Hoping someone may be able to help.what i am trying to do is on the receiving screen if the document is posted i want to make certain fields read only so that the information is not changed after posting. if the field i want to work with is is part of the receiving table i can turn them off with no issue.setControlEnabled("receiving", "way_bill", false);but if they are in a listview it does not look like i can set them readonly using the standard controlsetControlEnabled("receiving_detail", "location_to", false);setControlEnabled("receiving_unit", "serial_id", false);any suggestion on how i might be able to set these read only using a client script?i will need to build this for both SmartClient and Webclient i tried looking through the documentation and the FSM client scripts but couldn’t see anything that would work. FSM Smart Client, locking fields upon status

Hi, What would be the best way of selectively locking fields on a screen on the SmartClient? I am trying to disable certain fields on the project screen depending on the project status. This script below almost works, but diesnt lock the Notes tab records. Is there a better way of doing this? essentially, if the project is approved, the details cant be updated by everyone, only certain people (who use a different project screen).We cant use the app param ‘FREEZE_PROJECT_APPROVAL_STATUS’ as some people will be allowed to update but not others. Request work task status cannot be changed to work done

Hi,I have a question and I need your help.I have a request work task that I have completed it in mobile work order but still, the status in Cloud remains ,,work started,,. If I try to change it manually, it tells me that I have an active assignment, but in MWO the only assignment I had is completed. 'task.tech_signature_id' saving as a negative value in FSM server

Hi Experts,When a technician adds their signature from a mobile device, it is saved in the mobile database as a negative value by default. This value is then sent to the FSM server, which identifies the negative value and converts it to the correct ID based on the sequence of `tech_signature_id`. This process is handled on the server side. As shown in the attached image, all `tech_signature_id`s created on mobile devices are negative values. This helps avoid mistakes when many technicians are working simultaneously.Tech signature id before syncing with the server.However, my problem is that on the server side, the `tech_signature_id` is not being converted to a positive value after the data comes from the mobile device.task.tech_signature_id in web clientThis issue does not occur every time. I had to create at least 10 tasks to reproduce it. The current environment is UPD23, and I tested this on an Android device. I also initialized the UPD23 server into the UPD28 Android and Windows a

Analysis for Service Contract - incorrect values

Hi All, Doing some tests with ‘Analysis for Service Contract’ in IFS Cloud and I am noticing some strange behaviour. Situation:I have a service contract where I Invoiced 2 items:Periodic invoice of 500 USD/Month Preventive Maintenance Work Order charged with a Service Line at ‘Fixed Price’ of 2500 USD Now I check my Service Contract Analysis and I see 2 issues:Incorrect visual ‘Revenue Analysis’ In the Summary I see a field “Revenue (USD)” which says 3000 USD - that’s good. But the Revenue Analysis bar chart only gives a value of 500 USD And next to it we have the breakdown that really shows the 500 USD from the Invoice Plan and the 2500 from the ‘Fixed Price’ WO Why is that 1 bar chart not consistent with the other info? Incorrect Costs My Invoice plan did not have any costs - my work order on the other hand had 1 part and 1 resource used, respectively a cost of 2127.84 USD and 0.15 USD Why does the Analysis overview only say a cost of 2127,84 USD and not 2127.99 USD as I would

FSM Mobile - Fetch data on demand

Hi All,I’m trying to find a solution for the following. The functionalilty is that FSM mobile app users can fetch data on demand.So far I'm able to trigger a Sync rule via a client script, which then sends all the data (Batch All) for that person. The issue here is, that I can’t add any conditional filters, and only can filter on Person ID (but it’s something). The biggest issue is that during the initialisation of the app, the data is also imported, which we want to prevent.Regards,David

Service Contract - Track Cost and Revenue

Hi All, I have a client that provides monthly free-of-charge inspections of their customer’s production line (for which they sold the equipment). The inspection is free-of-charge, but everytime they find a possible problem, they provide a quote to the customer for the replacement and maintenance and thus they make revenue. That is the basic business plan. To put this in IFS I was working with a Service Contract where we have multiple ‘Services’ - 1 free-of charge service that has a PM action on Monthly Occurence - Calendar generated. No issue there.I also made a second servie that is invoiced based on ‘Resources Used’. So whenever a technician is on-site they can create a new WO/Service Request from MWO, connect it to the 2nd service line of the contract and in that way we can track all Costs and Revenue’s for both Services connected to the Service Contract. Now comes the issue: so before they are allowed to execute the replacement, the customer wants a quote. No issue - when the WO is
