Hi all,

I have a Company and Service Organization set up with a certain time zone, but the Scheduling Dataset does not have the same time zone and I cant change it in the creation of a Scheduling Dataset.

Company Time Zone
Service Organization Time Zone
Scheduling Dataset Time Zone

In the Dispatch Console all the Request Work Tasks created for the Service Organization are displayed in the wrong timezone and have a shift of 8 hours compared to the plannable time sections.

How can the time zone on the Scheduling Datasets be corrected and set up?

Thanks,
Chris

Have a look at https://community.ifs.com/field-service-management-fsm-planning-and-scheduling-optimization-pso-249/ifs-cloud-scheduling-demystified-25r2-63814?fid=249&tid=63814

Time zone should not be set to the actual region, but rather to the IFS Cloud server time zone. This is to make sure that DateTime values are correctly sent to PSO. You cannot change the time zone on the Scheduling Dataset, but on the corresponding Scheduling Optimization Dataset.

Hi,

sorry to come back to this:
What if we dont use the PSO, but do the planning manually with the Dispatch Console?
What use do time zones have, if only with the server time the display of times is correct?

Thanks

For a DC dataset, the Scheduling Optimization Dataset and the time zone are not considered. The Gantt will look at the user’s time zone only and allow you to specify a secondary and tertiary time zone.
