Hi, In IFS Cloud Dispatch Console, is there functionality to assign multiple work tasks/ assignments to a Crew simultaneously, either via drag-and-drop or direct assignment? We are managing numerous similar tasks that need to be dispatched to a Crew efficiently. Additionally, assignments are expected to be handled individually within MWO for reporting. Bundle Tasks in 23R2 does not meet this requirement, as it lacks the necessary MWO functionality.

Is there a possibility of service tech to do communication with the customer through MWO app? Is there a data limit when it comes to attachments (image/video/documents?)

Hi, We are currently using IFS Cloud 23R2 SU14 alongside the IFS MWO Service app, and was wondering if we were able to hide/remove the Initialize button from our engineers through page configuration or another means? We are finding our engineers are clicking this button despite numerous attempts to communicate and prevent this, as we are aware by clicking this button it will remove all transactions from the device which have yet to be sync to the back office. Appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks

The version is 24R2. Cloud. I’m studying the MroTechnicianTaskExecutionHandling.svc for some time and I have a hard time to collect data about specific Assignments using a generic integration user to authenticate with. Do you have any hints on calling this API to return data ? Hi, We have an assortment with parts that are set to be refilled with Shipment Order: If we select “Receive into Inventory” for the Remote Warehouse in the Receive Case, it works fine, but obviously, the parts arrived in the picking inventory location as soon as the shipment is delivered. The business would prefer it if the parts were first in a sort of transit state as they want the remote warehouse operator (the remote warehouses are typically work vans and the operators are the van drivers and they use IFS MWO Service) to confirm receipt of the delivery (this must happen in the mobile device) before the parts are made available in the remote warehouse. We cannot use Transport Tasks with move to transit option as the main warehouse absolutely requires the use of “Pick by Choice” which is only available from a shipment (hence Shipment Orders). Deare All, i came across a strange situation when creating/updating prices for Service Contract - Service Lines. When we create a ‘New Service Line’ we can use the invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ what gives us the ability to add a Sales Part for invoicing purposes. But I notice 2 issues: The Price always comes from the Sales Part and completely ignores the existing Pricing Logic => this is very confusing and seems to be nonsensical There is no ability to set a Quantity There is however a business need to be able to put Quantities here. For example for certain ‘Subscriptions’ where a customer pays a fee per Machine withint the Service Contract. So I want to be able to select the Sales Part that gives me the price for 1 machine, but I also want to add a Quantity so we can easily multiple with the number of machines (Objects) that we will connect to that service. Dear All, I believe I am experiencing an issue with the Price Calculation with Service Contract Periodic Prices for Service Lines. In IFS cloud, we can create a Service Contract. In this contract we add a ‘Service Line’ with invoice Type = ‘Invoice Plan’ so we can select a Sales Part that will be used for the invoicing of this Service. When we use the ‘Expand’ functionality to go into the details of the Service Line, we have a tab called ‘Periodic Prices’ - where we also have the functionality ‘Retrieve Sales Part Price’. When we click this we get a pop-up that says: “Periodic Price and Discount will be replaced with the values based on the Price Logic . Do you want to continue?’. Unfortunately I must conclude that the Price Logic is not correctly followed (or at least => it does not match the Price Logic used in the ‘Price Query’). Hi all. I’m testing UPD24 Apps10 with MWO Maintenance 10. As i try to attach a picture from camera, the app is stuck in Media detail screen and does noting after the message: “Getting location data. Please wait.” All the permissions are given to the app. No powersave set up. Tried with motorola(androd 12) and samsung(android 14). Already clear cache and data, also deleted the user’s device. Is there anything else I can do or it may be a bug? tried android and windows.

Hi community, One of our users came across the following error when trying to initialize the MWO Services app in IFS Cloud. I’ve tried looking into this any haven’t come across much information. Does anyone know what may cause this error or how to go about fixing it? The user logged in again and the app has been trying to initialize for over 4 hours. They have successfully logged into the app and used it in the past, but recently had been asked to sync again because the database configuration had changed. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Hello, I'm working on IFS and I'd like to put indicators on the IFS home page or new tabs. I know that this is in the padlock at the top right. Once you get to this page, there are lots of new pages and possible indicators. My question is: Do you have a document that relays and explains all the existing lobbies/element? Hi all, I am trying to find a solution for this requirement in the Service Management module but I haven’t found a way to do it in Cloud yet (I’m using 24R2). The situation is the following: when the engineer goes on-site and spends more than 1 hour, only AFTER the first hour is invoiceable. For example: The engineer spends 0,5 h → free The engineer spends 1 h→ free The engineer spends 1,5h → we charge 0,5 The engineer spends 3,5h → we charge 2,5 I have tried to use the price breaks and add the sales part “Resource” to the price list with this condition: However, when trying to raise a job, although for the job which last less than 1 hour is free (which is what we want), if we raise a job and keep open for more than 1 hour, it charges the whole time. Do you know if there is a standard way to set up that only the first hour of resource time is non-billable? In other word, only time exceeding one hour will be invoiced. Thanks in advance. Irene

Hi, We are trying to setup a Database Task Schedule for Recurring Service Request Generation. We get a background job Error everytime we run the job. The fault message is: Argument SERVICE_DELIVERY_UNIT_ must have a value, because default value do not exist. Can’t get to the bottom of this issue. We have a default Service Delivery Unit. Hi, In the SLA Commitment screen, there is a field “SLA Template” but the value displayed is the revision (not the SLA Template ID or description) Do you know if there is a plan to show the template id instead in future releases? Thanks.

We have recently started using MWO (we are also using IFS Cloud 24R2). While we have spent quite some time to ensure a good performance in terms of synchronization, we have received feedback that the user experience is suffering from slowness to navigate within the app. For esp. Android users, pages takes on average ~5 seconds to load, so if you want to report time: From the start page, go to My Work, select an assignment, go to actions, go to time. This will take in total ~20 seconds of pure loading times. Similarly, it takes 20 seconds of loading times to go back to the start page. We have looked at if the performance may be related to the type of Android phone, but even if you are using the latest Android OS, on a flagship phone the issues remain. At the same time, we do not have any complaints from any iPhone users. We have tried to remove any unused functionality such as location tracking, but this has only had a minor impact. Receiving a fault message “It is not allowed to modify a Sales Line after creating service Invoice.” Is this standard functionality. I could have swarn we were able to modify a sales line after creating service invoice. Message occurs when we select ‘New Credit Lines’.

Hi All, Is there any way to accessing a link mandatory which is inside Mobile Integration in IFS MWO. We want to generate message like “Mandatory step is missing” If a technician forgot to click a link in Mobile Integration before completion a work assignment. TIA:

Within the Workflow Configuration the fuction of “Mandatory” for Attachments seems to be not working. Expected results is when a workflow has select of “Mandatory” for attachments the Request should not be allowed to finish without an attachment.

I’m encountering the following error when trying to log in to the customer use place environment via the Scan It app: "An error has occurred. Exception of type 'android.content.activitynotfoundexception' was thrown" All the necessary Wadaco client settings have been correctly configured, and the required permissions are granted for my user. Additionally, I have downloaded the latest version of the IFS Scan It app from the App Store. I’d appreciate it if you could provide a resolution or guidance to resolve this issue.

Hello, When I select a Work Task to see the details in the Dispatch Console, it shows all the request tasks for the REQUEST, and sometimes it’s a bit confusing. In this example, i want to see the details of the task 83: However, i get all the tasks for the original request: Is it the intended functionality? Hi, When creating a new Work Task in Service Management, it’s selected the option “Create from Standard Task” by default. If I select “New Work Task” and again “Create from Standard Task” the list of standard tasks is duplicated. This is a test case: After select “New” in Request Work Task, I have 2 standard task in the list: I select “New Work Task”: Select again “Create from Standard Task”: The list is increasing if i do it several times.
