Hi everyone,I wanted to reach out to the community to get some clarity and perspective on a topic that recently came up in a discussion with IFS.During a recent conversation, I heard a statement that “Nexus Black Resolve is intended to be the long-term replacement for MWO.” But i did not hear any specifics - it sounded bit vague, however it could just be me and plans may be in place. I’m Seeking some Clarifications as this raised a few important questions, and I’m hoping the community can help me to clarify these: Has this direction been formally defined? Is Nexus Black Resolve officially positioned as the successor / replacement for MWO, or is this still early-stage direction or regional guidance? Is Resolve included in the official roadmap? If so, where can we find formal roadmap visibility or release plans? Is there any official positioning or documentation available? Product strategy Sales positioning Target use cases compared to MWO Where can we learn m

Hi, I would like to know why is it important to timely clear error messages from Maintenance Posting Analysis. What impact does it have if we dont do it timely.
Hi,We have an assortment with parts that are set to be refilled with Shipment Order: If we select “Receive into Inventory” for the Remote Warehouse in the Receive Case, it works fine, but obviously, the parts arrived in the picking inventory location as soon as the shipment is delivered. The business would prefer it if the parts were first in a sort of transit state as they want the remote warehouse operator (the remote warehouses are typically work vans and the operators are the van drivers and they use IFS MWO Service) to confirm receipt of the delivery (this must happen in the mobile device) before the parts are made available in the remote warehouse. We cannot use Transport Tasks with move to transit option as the main warehouse absolutely requires the use of “Pick by Choice” which is only available from a shipment (hence Shipment Orders). We tried to use “Receive into Arrival” in the Receive Case. When the shipment is completed, the parts arrive into the arrival location and they ca
Is there a separate permission set for IFS NotifyMe (IFS Cloud 25R2 SU3)? When trying to connect i’m getting an error ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR.
Our company uses work order and work task processes. We typically use one work order with one work task. A user has changed the work task status to Work Started and is now unable to change back to Released (it was changed in error and for our flow needs to be in Released status and update a value in the Work Stage which is how we’ve overcome the lack of work task status). The work task in question has a connected Maintenance Purchase Requisition which is Closed Status. This was used to create a part requisition line for an external service purchase order which is in released status. This error message is received when attempting to change the status back on the Work Task or Work Order. ERROR: It is not possible to initiate a Tender flow when one of more connected Work Tasks are in status Released or above.Turned on debug console and found the error is due to WORK_ORDER_REQUIS_HEADER_API starting at line 1379 where it’s attempting to use Get_Create_Rfq. Hello,I’m trying to add a navigation command from an Online screen ‘ServiceEquipmentDetailOnlinePage’ in MWO to a standard entity ‘TechnicalObjectReference’ and existing screen ‘TechnicalReqPage’. The screen works fine when I try in Cloud but in MWO it displays a blank screen without any data. I’m in 25R1 IFS Cloud version and also have the latest MWO Service app installed. Is this a limitation through configuration or am I missing something? Please advice. MWO

Hi All, We are experiencing an issue with generating SLA commitments from SLA Templates connected to Service and Request Contracts. SLA commitments are created when an Urgency is defined for a Request. The Service Catalog item was created as shown below. SLA Template that is attached to a Service item Different SLA Template is attached if the Urgency is 1 Creation of service request are show in below. First, without an urgency. No urgency used. Normal SLA template is fetched from the service. This is shown in the New Request assistant. However, When we created a Request, No SLA details are shown. The creation of a service request with an Urgency. When we select Urgency = 1, Urgency related SLA Template is fetched and it is shown in the New request Assistant. SLA Commitment was created. We experience some SLA commitments issue when we connect a contract to a Request as well.Any idea on this behavior? Are there any intended functionalities with SLA templates? Or are we missing something
Hi all,In 25R1 mobile work order (via maintenance app), when trying to enter a new measurement, I have below error.function<GetNewmeasurementInfo>: Failed to read value from EquipmentObjectTestPntRec.descriptionNew measurementError Also noticed the description inEquipmentObjectTestPntRec looks like below.EquipmentObjectTestPntRecA colleague checking on a different environment verified the same issue in their environment as well. Did anyone come across the same? If so, is this something we can fix as individuals for our environments or is it a bug that IFS needs to fix? Many thanks in advance

Hi, With the transition to the MAUI platform, it has been observed that the current mobile applications (MWO, Notify Me, and Scan IT) do not provide the same level of Insight Logs that were available in the MWO Classic (Xamarin) application. This limitation makes it challenging to clearly understand user actions and accurately identify issues encountered during application usage.Although the application parameter EXTENDED_CLIENT_LOGGING can be enabled, it currently captures only a limited set of logs, which is often insufficient for effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Proposed ImprovementsTo enhance observability and support efficient diagnostics, the following improvements are recommended: Enhance Device Log Coverage Introduce more comprehensive client-side logging to better capture user interactions, application flows, and error scenarios. This will help in understanding user behavior leading up to an issue. Include Timezone and User Region Information Capture the de
Hi,I am unable to login to the IFS MWO Service App. After entering the server URL, its redirected to the login page, but after entering my username and password, its throwing error :- An error has occurred("error":""code":"ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR""message":"Aninternal server error occurred,Contact administrator.","details":[("code":"PROJECTION_IMPL_EXCEPTION","message":"")])),
Can someone explain how to give access to the IFS Call Center Module so that external customers can report their issues directly to IFS. They should only see the cases/tasks from their organization only. I believe this can be achieved using Case Access Groups and B2B customer and user setups as explained in below posts. However, case access group with ‘Restriction Type’ defined as customer does not work even if the user has access to the B2B Customer. User cant see the cases from customers which they are connected to. Therefore, I would like to know whether there is anything else that should be setup for this to work.Below post also gives some insights. However, I’m unable to figure it out yet.
I have tried to setup IFS 10 TAS server in web farm and followed the installation quide firmly. Still same issue. I have tried to switch places on the node but it’s always the node the sertificate is imported to that failes with ExecuteAuthentication.CryptographicException: Error occurred while decoding OAEP padding..Running on windows 2022 server. We are having a problem where we are unable to generate request as something has change in the Recurring Service Program that requires the schedule to be regenerated. We have a database task that runs to create the request. The issue is if the schedule needs regenerated a request is not created and there is no visibility to the issue until it is discovered at a later date. In a test environment I put a RSP into a state of "Regenerate the Schedule" by toggling the "Floating Schedule" on and Off.There doesn't seem to be an overview with that information.I attempted to find “Regenerate the Schedule” in the view: RECURRING_PROGRAM_SCHEDULE and when I created a query for that view, there doesn't appear to be a column that suggests we need to Regenerate the schedule. Is there an easy way to know whether we need to Regenerate the Schedule for a particular RSP without searching one by one through thousands of RSPs? Is there an overview or lobby element we can view to see this information
Hi together, when I refill a remote warehouse (van stock) via “Refill all putaway zones” I can specify in the remote warehouse assortment if the refill source should be “transport task” or “shipment order”. When I choose “transport task”, it is possible to execute the transfer from mWO. So far so good. But, when I choose “shipment order”, it is not possible to receive the shipment via mWO. I would expcect to find the pending receive unter “Receipt” in mWO. I also checked the sync rule Of ShipmentOrderLine, it seems it syncs only shipments connected to a work task - which is not the case in this process. Of course I can set the option “Automatic receipt” in the shipment type. But, then the stock quantity of the van stock is not correct when the part is not yet picked up by the technician. Is this how the systm works or is there another possibilty which I have overlooked?
Hi All, We recently installed PSO and set up necessary data to run it. We plant to use PSO for manual scheduling. A dataset is created as shown below. Dataset is linked to some resources and service delivery units. Capacities were calculated and scheduling activity (marked as manually scheduled) types were created. After activating dataset, activities can be seen in the workbench but not resources. No errors are shown in application messages. But we cannot see resources in the workbench. This exception can be seen also. Can you guide me to solve this?TIA.
