Hi,We are on week 2 of go live. We are having an issue with Request Contract Invoicing. Please see screenshots below: I have highlighted contract line 6. Note the periodic price is $365. Invoice Plan Details are showing a discounted amount, see line 6, the amount is $352.83. We were expecting $365, which is the periodic price on the contract line. We have no idea why the system has discounted the price here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Ed
Hello Experts,We are currently working on IFS 24R1 and have encountered an issue in Request Management → Work Task, specifically under the Material tab when using the Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve option [Service Management → Request Management → Request Task Handling → Request Work Task → Material Tab → Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve].Although the required part is available in one of the warehouses linked to the Site, the system does not allow reservation from this warehouse if it is not the same remote warehouse as specified on the Work Task. It throws an error and restricts reservation unless the part is available in that exact remote warehouse.However, I am able to reserve the same part using the Reserve Manually option under the same menu path. The issue is that the system does not automatically pick and reserve from other warehouses linked to the Site that have the part in stock. Hello,In MWO Service My Work screen, in baseline the ‘StartTime’ and ‘FinishWholeDate’ fields are displayed. There is another field as ‘FinishOnlyTime’ which displays only the time. If we include the field ‘FinishOnlyTime’ in the label value as shown below, it displays a wrong time. Whereas, when the same field is included in the content section, it displays the correct finish time. Why is the same field showing different times within the same screen in MWO? Please let me know.
Hi,The customer is using the Request management flow and they want to change how Customer field and Service fields show their values.In MWO, we can see the customer information and service information as follows. It doesn’t only show the name, but with the ID. Customer information is shown as : Customer ID - Customer NameService Information is shown as : Service ID - Service NameHowever, it is required to only visualize the Name of the customer and the name of the service. Is it possible to achieve that?In MWO DB, the Customer Name is saved as Customer ID- Name. Best Regards,Nethmi
Hello,In MWO service classic application, when we click on the main menu as shown below, it adjusts the layout of the dashboard screens to the right and displays the main menu list. It also had the ability to display the icons for the users to view the list without clicking on the menu.In the new MWO service application, the icons are not displayed directly in the screen and can be viewed only when the main menu is clicked. Also, the dashboard screen is not adjusted but the main menu overlaps with the screen as shown below. Please let me know if we will have the same layout features from the classic application mentioned above in the new MWO service application in the future updates.
Hi All, We can see associated Workflow Configuration of an assignment from MWO. However, this information is not visible in IFS cloud. I think that the ideal place to appear this is the Assignment tab of a Request Task.Further, “Surveys and Answers” are only visible once technician answer to specific surveys. Did anyone try to make this information visible in IFS cloud at certain place? Any work around other than configuration/customization?Customer Need: Dispatcher/Planner needs to see what are the triggered configurations and survey from the Backoffice.TIA.
Hi, My customer has created a page as an action in mwo and added several fields to that page. In one section they have created two fields; a LOV and a Text field. The customer wants to enable to Text field based on the value they add to the LOV.Ex: make the text field visible only if the LOV value in ‘Other’.This has been setup in page designer configuration in below manner and working fine there. However, the problem is that, this change does not apply to mobile. Any idea why?We have initialized the app, refreshed cache and disconnected and connected the app.Best Regards,
Hi All, Do we have a way to create two work assignments for below requirement.There should be two or many assignments where one assignment is primary (task leader) and others are secondary. Only reporting should be done by the primary assignment. Others are supportive and do not report time to the work. It is like booking of few other resources to support main assignee.Crew functionality does not matching with this since these grouping are dynamic and short term. In IFS, if you create assignments all has to complete the work to automatically transfer the work task status to “Work Done”.Is there a way to work with a primary assignment and a dummy assignments? TIA.
Hi,How do you handle situations where you need to request a deposit before executing a work order?I’m looking for a functionality similar to the advance invoice for customer orders, where the customer pays an amount in advance, and IFS takes that amount into account for the final invoice.I want the same functionality for my work orders. Before I start investigating, I need a deposit from the customer. Of course, this deposit should be deducted from the final invoice.IFS doesn’t seem to have such a function. Possible workarounds are:Using an instant invoice, but you need to remember to do this manually, and it's not linked to the specific work order. Adding a sales line on the work task and crediting it afterward.Both methods require manual intervention, which can be forgotten sometimes. Does anyone have a better idea?

Hi all,the “Return Travel” function when completing a RWT in the MWO Service Classic App, creates an entry in the “Times” Action Tab and in the Work Task Clockings in IFS Cloud.But the Time Report does not show up in the Sales Lines of the RWT and has no Transaction ID in the clockings. The problem is, that the missing Sales Line leads to incorrect invoicing and lost revenue, when the return travel is not properly displayed.Additionally it is not possible to assign a default Time Type to the Return Travel clocking.Can you please have a look at this or advise how to use it correctly, if the mistake is on my side.An easy solution for us specifically would be the possibility to simply report times in the “Time” Action tab for future dates.Thanks,Chris

Hi All,We’re seeing some pretty severe performance hits with our Zebra Handhelds since upgrading from Apps 10 to IFS Cloud.These devices are android based and using the scanit app.It appears that if the scanner sits for 48 hours, when it is used again the WaDaCo actions take about 15-18 seconds to respond (each scan or “click”).Our fix is to reimage the device. It then works fine until they go unused again. Then they slow down.These things were rock solid in Apps 10. So this is a bad look for us with the upgrade.Any advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Mike
Hello,In MWO, we have the ‘My Misc. Allocations’ screen. In IFS Cloud, through page designer I’m able to view the related commands for Add, Edit, Delete and Remove Approval for the Misc. Allocation screen until version 25R1. In 25R2 version, I do not see these options in the Page Designer. Even if we configure the projection ‘CommonMiscAllocHandling’ as Read-Only in the permission set, it does not make it Read-Only.Is there a reason why these options were removed? What are the alternatives to disable these commands from the My Misc. Allocation screen? Please let me know.
There is a problem manifests when users attempt to accept or start a Pool Task assigned to a Resource Group. The system raises an internal error (Utility<CreateAssignmentInState>: Failed to read expression value from AllTaskRec.TaskSeq) during assignment creation, preventing the task from being accepted or started.Product Version: 25.2.2
Hi together,when I look into the sync rule for SrvRequestScope, a lot of fields are synchronized to mWO, e g REQ_ISSUE_SYMPTOM_ID : But, when I try to add this field via page designer to the request scope page, the field is not selectable. There are some fields existing, but most the fields are missing. Is there any possibility to add the mentioned field? I am aware, a workaround would be to add a custom field, but this is not my wanted solution.
Hello,While using the Service module > Work Task screen, we have the option to enter a Fixed Price line for a sales part from the Sales tab. Work TaskWhereas while using the Service Management module > Request Work Task screen, we do not have the option to enter the Fixed Price in the Cost Type dropdown. Is there a reason for removing this option from the list? If so, is there an alternative way to add the fixed price? Please let me know.Request Work Task
How do you handle the costs for different time types when using Resource Groups and Job Rate Management?For example, we have a Resource Group ‘Engineers’ which allow you to add one cost value and sales part value. We then assign work to engineers within that resource group via Mobile Work Order.When the engineer books their time they select one of the following time types - Standard, 1.5x, 2x, depending on their contractual hours.How does the costs associated with those time types get added to the work order if the resource group only has one cost assigned to it? Similarly, how does the sales part relating to the time type get added to the work order to ensure the customer is charged the appropriate rate?
