Configuration from Customer Order in Project Deliverables

A Customer Order line can be supplied via project deliverables. In this case the supply code is “project deliverables”. Unfortunately, there is no automatism that automatically creates the project deliverables including structure, similar to what happens in the DOP.The idea is that, for example, the project deliverables is created using a button, linked to the activity of the customer order line and the inventory part of the sales part, including its product structure, is exploded in the project deliverables.If the sales part in the customer order is a configured part, the configuration in the customer order should be used in the deliverable and the configuration bom should be exploded. In IFS Standard the user has to configure twice… in customer order and afterwards in project deliverables as well.

Request Work Task Material Cost on Project - Posting Control Set Up?

Hi! I have a Project Connected to my Request in NGSM. I’ve created a Work Request Task and issued Material against the Request Work Task, I was expecting to see the Material Cost of this on my connected Project but can’t.  Any advice getting the costs to appear on my Project from my Request would be appreciated. I’m assuming there’s a posting control(s) that I’m missing?

Apps10 Business Opportunity lines - Discount

We’re actively using Business Opps and recently started investigating using discounts instead of amending the price. We currently use discounts on the customer order lines and are able to enter values with multiple decimal places (we sometimes use 5). However, within business opps lines discounts, it only seems to allow us to enter to 2 decimal places, anymore and it’ll round up.Does anyone know how to override the number of decimal places that can be input within the discount code?E.g.I enter 5.7856IFS updates this to 5.79 LU - BusinessOpportunityLineTable BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_LINE_TAB Some testing:I attempted to enter this value directly into the DB and the output was similar to entering it in the front end. I checked the ALL_TAB_COLUMNS and couldn’t see any strange rounding here and also within the API I couldn’t find any rounding etc.  Any ideas?

Project Invoice Currency

Hi,I am trying to create a Project Invoice in a different currency than the base currency of the Project. I defined the required Invoice currency in Specific Sales Price under my Project Pricing but when trying to create the transaction, I see only my project base currency. I read in IFS documentation that this parallel currency is possible, but I am unable to execute this. Could someone please assist if I am missing anything here. Thanks

SOW Production Not Updating Sales Contract AFP

Hello Community, I have created a SOW Production from a SOW Estimated where Sales Contract was Connected. Then I entered some work recording and tried to updated the sales contract from SOW Production. As per solution it should create AFP for the progress. But i an unable to sync the progress in Sales Contract. The sales contract is in Active status along with the revision & items. I was able to update the Project Forecast, Project EAC, Project Material Plan , Project Resource Plan from the SOW. Does anyone know how to sync the progress to sales contract and sub contract?

Create cost accounting cannot be updated for customer transactions

We don’t want to create cost accounting vouchers for some transactions/generate any GL entries.  We are just trying to get the project into completed status.  Normally I am able to temporarily change the ‘create cost accounting’ setting to ‘No’ on the relevant report code to ‘No, Do not update project cost’ via the option called ‘Update Cost Accounting’ in project transactions screen.Example: Report Code SERVICES is set to 'No Do not update project Cost'. However, when trying to update cost accounting, system prompts an error.  Any idea why this error prompts all of a sudden?

Project Deliverables - Shipment Address

We have run into an issue that I would like to bring up in the community. It could be that we have missed a piece of existing functionality or we might face a gap that we have to navigate around somehow.We are using Project Deliverables to design a number of products to be shipped to the customer project site (new address for every project). There are multiple shipments created for a project, up to 40 deliveries (shipments) is not uncommon. I was expecting that a Project Address could be used to define the shipment address. When looking closer at the project address it is our understanding that it only defines the delivery address for purchase orders.If our finding above is correct the first thought is to create a customer address of type Delivery. This is of course possible. However we can’t find anywhere we can set-up what delivery address to use for the Project/Project Deliverables. The only place we have found so far is to create a shipment plan and change the delivery address. But

Can you reserve project from another project in PNG without doing a transfer

Just the like the title says, is there a way to reserve and issue material to a shop order from one activity simply by having it in the same PNG without having to do the overhead of a MTR.

Planned cost on project vs part unit cost

Hi All,I’ve an issue that I’m not able to understand: i systematically have a gap between the part unit cost and the panned cost on a project. The cost of raw materials (prod structure) is missing In this example we can constat the issue between a customer order and a project:But i have the same problem withshop orders and misc demands, Does anyone has an idea about this issue? Thanks in advance :) Antoine

Can't Increase the Project Activity duration (Early Finish Date/Work Days)

Hello IFS Community,I'm currently facing an issue when trying to increase the ‘Early Finish Date’ or the ‘Work Days’ of a Project Activity. And the same Activity is in ‘Released’ state and some transaction have been already reported. Would you kindly help if this can be avoided or what functional limitation is blocking me ?(using IFS APP10 Upd 22). Many thanks for all your kind suggestions 😊 Tried to increase until 2025-5-31 Summary of the cost transactions already reported on the above Activity.

Trying to approve 960 lines in Project Transactions screen getting error

When trying to approve Project Transactions in IFS Cloud. If I select all of the transactions (960) and click Approval for Cost Accounting I get this error. I can only do 500 or less transactions at a time. Are there limitations to the number of records you can mass update? Ressource capacity and absence

Hi Community, I am currently exploring some features related to "Resource Management."I have created a resource as a "person group," and the group's capacity is based  individuals within it.I planned the resource on a project and made an allocation for one employee in the group.Based on HR calendar, the employee has some days OFF.I don't understand why the scheduled capacity does not consider this absence in its calculation.When using the "Resource Analysis" screen, project managers can view resource scheduling, but it appears that the capacity is not adjusted for absences.Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is this expected behavior?

Issue with CCO line

Hello folks,I have a concern regarding the Contract Change Orders (CCO) functionality in IFS Cloud. In a CCO, when you add a line, I am unable to see the connected project information. Since the CCO is originating from the sales contract, I would imagine that the project/sub project/activity connected to the sales contract should be automatically fetched to the CCO line as well. Otherwise the user will always have to enter this information manually which is not a good user experience IMO. (Please see the attached screenshot). Why is this functionality built this way? Is there any particular reason why the project information is not automatically fetched to the CCO line or can this be improved ?Kind regards,Ashani

problems saving shortcuts in time posting

Is anyone experiencing problems saving shortcuts in project time posting after the 24R2 update in cloud? Our user saves the shortcut, but it disappears the next day.

Why do the resource not deactivate in resource group on resource structure when employee is terminated

Hi When we terminate employment on IFS Cloud the resource still remains active in the resource groups on the resource structure. Only the resource capacity validity period is updated on the termination but the resource can still be allocated to projects. Yes the system gives a warning that the employee is terminated but its still available. Also the employee/resource is not removed from the existing project allocations. How can we get the termination to remove the resource or deactivate it?

Voucher Date Transfer Project Cost Accounting Transactions

The parameters Start date, End Date van Voucher Date in the Run Task ‘Transfer Project Cost Accounting transactions’ are derived from the previous accounting period.If I run the task today (28-7-2025) IFS sets the Voucher Date to the end date of the previous period, being 30-6-2025: Is it possible for IFS (Apps10) to default fill the Voucher Date with today's date?

How can we connect the employee absence with the resource analysis

There is a requirement of showing the capacity drop in the resource analysis window, when an employee is on leave. As shown in the screenshot, when the employee working full 8-hour days, the capacity line appears flat. When employee work partial hours (for example, only 5 hours), the capacity line drops accordingly, reflecting the reduced hours. Similarly, if an employee apply absence on any working day, the capacity should drop to zero (0) hours. How can we build this connection between employee absence and capacity in resource analysis in IFS cloud application? Appreciate your support. Shipment Plans for Condition Code enabled parts

In Project Deliverable flow, I’m trying to create Shipment Plan for Condition code enabled part.the System prompt an error saying, “It is not allow to create Shipment Plans for parts with condition code enabled.”It seems the flow is intentionally prevented.If so, appreciate a proper approach for delivering condition code enabled part via project del flow.

Restrict Project Transactions to Time Reporting Only

I know it seems counter-intuitive but does anyone know of a way to restrict project activity to Time Reporting only - ie disallow raising POs, SO etc?   I know there is the allow/disallow on Manual Connections but that only works when trying to connect an object created outside of the project.  It doesn’t stop objects created within the project from being created. I’m wondering if going down the Indirect Jobs route might be a better option?  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received.  ThanksLinda

Creation of Shipment plan for part with Condition Code enabled

Create Shipment plan for part with Condition Code enabled. The Condition Code setting is very important for structure items that will be processed in the subsequent MRO process.The IFS Shipment as a business object takes this part property into account, so the only missing step is this:IFS Project Deliverables Item --> IFS Shipment Plan --> IFS Shipment Line Steps to Reproduce:1) Created a Product Structure of having a Manufacturing part (SN-MP) & Purchase Part (SN-PP) and make it buildable. And enabled the SN-PP for condition code. 2) Created a Project in Project Definition (SN-MODELA) and included Sub Project (SN-A) and Activity (SN-A1) and approved the Project. 3) Navigated to Project Deliverables Definition and created a new Project Deliverables (SN-MODEL-PDD)4) Navigate to Project Deliverables Design and include Component (SN-MP) and under defaults include the Activity. 5) In Project Deliverables Design under components add SN-PP6) Next navigate to Shipment in left side
