Hi, (IFS Cloud - 24R2) I have a Sales Contract Item that’s linked to a Project Activity. I want the Revenue from this line to appear on my Project Activity as Planned Revenue. I can see the below from the Help Pages - my question is which posting control linked to this set up? The help page is not too helpful at specifying.

Hi Community, Do you have any idea why it is not possible to attach discount terms to payment terms on a sales contract? My customer contractually negotiates discount terms on sales contracts and would not want to manually assign discounts to each invoice linked to the contract. Here is the error message : Any help will be much appreciated on that subject :)

Product Version: IFS Cloud 24R1 In ‘Planned Cost/Hours per Cost Element’ assistant when an incorrect Cost Element is added and when that cost element is deleted, it is available again after re-opening the assistant as shown in the below images. Question: Could this be a bug or is it the expected behavior?

When a person uses Budgeting and Forecasting, they will determine estimates that may or may not match the estimates from the Project (Project Monitoring). Our customer wants to keep these in sync and is incredulous that we don’t have tools to update the project from the budget/forecast. At least to the best of my knowledge we don’t. This forces the user to have to update in Budgeting and Forecasting, then update the project, which can be tedious and prone to error and time consuming. It seems that the logic to update the estimate from the forecast is pretty straightforward. Has anyone done this? Is there any move by RnD to add this capability? Thank you. /Patrick

Issue Description: In project invoices, the net amount appears incorrect on certain lines. While the discrepancies are usually minor, they cause issues when we send the invoices electronically using the Peppol format. This format validates the quantity, unit price, and total price, which results in rejections of these invoices. As a result, we are forced to send them to the customer manually, bypassing electronic invoicing. Hi, One of our customers use traditional way of picking items from warehouse against the picklist. We have designed a solution to propose a project based scenario. The demands are added on the project, we could reserve the parts against the demand and generate a Project pick list but we cannot find a way to report picking of this picklist. Hi folks, I remeber a question from the certification asking, the activity costs and hours can be categorized into three primary groups: Budgetary Targets, Metrics, Actuals. Does anybody know which of the coumns of the Cost Tab in Project Monitoring are included in the group “Budgetary Targes”?Estimates, Planned, Baseline/None/Earned Value, Scheduled Work or Planned Committed, Commited, Used. Functional Scenario: Customer has a sales contract linked to a project. Sends several AFPs. After a specific point a final invoice which has the complete amount on it and also shows the deduction of the already paid AFPs is created. Problems/Issues: Sales Contract does not provide any kind of “Final Invoice” it is always just the project invoice based on AFP and that is based on the certified/confirmed amount. When matching the payment in advance/payment on account with the AFP. IFS automatically creates an invoice. This leads to the issue that we are not able to offset the previously paid AFPs against our complete “final invoice”. We are currently not able to have a process with advance payments via AFP and a final invoice that shows/includes the previously paid AFPs. Are we missing anything here or is such a scenario just currently not designed/considered in the sales-contracts yet? Kind regardsAlex

On my project resource planning i engaged a tool for several hours and so I have a planned cost. Now, how can I have a real cost ? I can’t have a project transaction or a project cost because on theses tab, only resource type = Person_group Is somebody has a solution ? My version is 23R1

Good day, In a new project for 300 devices (projects 7 in total), we have and will have a situation where one warehouse index will be ordered for the entire project. Therefore, costs should be assigned to each of the seven projects, and currently it looks like this: "common" indexes are mainly attached to the first wagon of one of the projects, which disrupts the costs on the projects. We tested the method of attaching the product/index structure, but when generating later, the system does not calculate the full 1 piece, but 1.000000000000001 and it would have to be changed manually each time. Is there another solution for this?

We are using IFS Projects heavily and have found a disappointing set-back that we cannot connect projects to CRO Shop Orders - Disposition or MultiLevel. We also cannot connected the CO created from the CRO SO Repair to a Project activity either. We use Project activity on all our Customer Orders and I am struggling to understand how we seem to be unable to connect projects to CRO repair CO’s

Hello together, I noticed the already existing solutions for this topic, but anyway it does not work for my case: I enabled the option “Required” on the left side, saved, published it and reloaded the page, but in the next step as you can see it did not overtook the setup (right marking). Hi, One of my customer is planning to use MCPR (Multi Company Project Reporting) for a large number of companies. They currently have about 80 companies with in total 2.000 projects. It should be possible for each employee to work on a project in any other company. This results in a large number of MCPR connections. We are wondering if this large number or connections can result in perfomance issues. Do you have experience with using MCPR time registration with a large number of connections? I created a material requirement linked to the project. I generated a supply that exceeds the demand. After going through the PMRP/MRP loops and expiring Inventory PArt Availability Exceptions, I would like to see in the table which project is affected by the oversupply. The system blinds the Project ID column *. What do I need to do to see the project with oversupply at this point.

Hello Source project start 01/04/2025 and early finish 01/06/2025 With new project I use this existing project BUT with Planned start 01/04/2025 and PLANNED FINISH at 01/09/2025 using “Copy based on Early Start/ Early finish” the enterered planned finish 01/09/2025 is not taken into account and calculates 13/06/2025 17:00 as Planned Finish. When trying to approve Project Transactions in IFS Cloud. If I select all of the transactions (960) and click Approval for Cost Accounting I get this error. I can only do 500 or less transactions at a time. Are there limitations to the number of records you can mass update? Hello, we want to add a planning item as Work Task in project deliverables (Engineering-->Project Deliverables-->Plan and Execute-->Project Deliverables Navigator-->Project Deliverables Design). It is not possible as you can see in the following screenshot: Error Work Task We are able to add the other executions types without any problems. We added and checked the Basic Data for Work Task and Work orders without any success. Could somebody get us a hint why this is not possible in this installation? Customer usually list all the demand on the project, then convert that to a purchase requisition using the Create Project Supply option. When using self-service procurement portal within a project, the purchase and material requisitions created will be connected to the project activity just as if they had been manually connected to the project and reporting costs in the same manner. However, this updated only in the supply side of the project. Customer has a requirement where, they need to add a list of all parts required for the Project, and have one place to see this, so they can ensure all demands are met. Here, all other demands are shown apart from anything requested via Self Service Procurement? Is there any possibility for this? Thank you in advance.

We have a customer who needs to review resource availability at different levels within the organization. The first level of output will provide the overall Availability/Occupancy Rate for the entire organization. The second level will drill down into the operational team level, breaking the data down by teams such as Functional, Technical, System Admin, etc. The third level will then break down the operational teams further into domain-specific categories, such as the relevant resource groups (e.g., combining DM leads into the DM team for clarity).
