Hello everybody,We are going to upgrade to IFS 25R1 and now we have a fresh IFS 25R1 installation. We are testing IFS 25R1 with our data.Unfortunately, we are experiencing troubles when accessing our projects:The project structure tree is not displayed in ‘Project Scope and Schedule’ page The project structure tree is not displayed in ‘Project Gantt’ page When trying to approve or schedule a new project, the following message is displayed:   “You cannot perform this function because your user does not have access to the project or all the subprojects belonging to the project "<Project ID>". Contact the project  manager to review your project access privileges.” This is true for all projects even if I am set as the Project Manager and also the manager of all sub-projects.Currently we are running IFS 23R2 SU 17 without any issues. I can view project structure, Ganttt Charts, approve and schedule any projects even if I am not defined as the ptoject manager, because I have admin priv

Hi,I have a question about transferring data from the Project Resource Forecast to Resource Planning.It’s currently possible to create multiple entries for the same Resource ID in the Project Resource Forecast. However, when I select Transfer to Resource Planning, only one of those entries is transferred. Could you clarify why this happens?Since the system permits multiple identical rows to be created and transferred without triggering any error messages, I would expect all of them to be included in the transfer. However, since this is not the case, there is a risk of inaccurate resource planning- especially if users are unaware that some lines are not being transferred.Thanks in advance for your help :)

We are trying to make changes to an Activity but get this error message: Does anyone know how to clear this? 

When a person uses Budgeting and Forecasting, they will determine estimates that may or may not match the estimates from the Project (Project Monitoring).  Our customer wants to keep these in sync and is incredulous that we don’t have tools to update the project from the budget/forecast.  At least to the best of my knowledge we don’t.  This forces the user to have to update in Budgeting and Forecasting, then update the project, which can be tedious and prone to error and time consuming.It seems that the logic to update the estimate from the forecast is pretty straightforward.  Has anyone done this?  Is there any move by RnD to add this capability?Thank you./Patrick

Hello together,I have the following scenario:Create Project (Cloud) Setup Approval Process (2 approvals, 1st approval my user and 2nd approval another Group) When created the project and I approved (1st step), an automatic approval E-Mail should be sent to the relevant Group (by Group ID, possibly by Custom Event → E-Mail) One of the members can either approve or reject the project Approval By approve of a member of the group, the project should be automatically approved If rejected, nothing happensAnybody experienced with this?Thx a ton, Markus

Hello,We use de Lobby datasource designer and we would like to show the %POC as a percentage and not as a decimal number.  I do  only have Number or Decimal, but not the % ?The  % POC is a CF.Is there any way to achieve this ? BR:/

I defined an operational subcontract for production and linked the work order to the project. When I send the intermediate inventory to the subcontractor, a purchase requisition is created. The relevant requisition line appears to be linked to the project, but it is not linked to the project in preprocessing. The project value is mandatory for the relevant account in the company's accounting settings. Therefore, I receive an error when entering the order on the manual supplier invoice screen. Why doesn't the link appear in preprocessing for purchasing even though I linked the project to the work order? I request your assistance.  

Issue Description : Activity Details Disappear  After  opening  the Project Scope and schedule  Steps to recreate the issue 1. Navigate to  Project Management >Plan and Execute> Activity - Activity Details  - Dropdown option is available for Setup Parameters, Material and Services, Resource Planning and Monitoring  2. Navigate to Project Management > Plan and Execute > Project Definition -  From project details go to Scope and schedule  3 Activity Scope and Schedule > select Activity 4. Now Navigate to  Project Management >Plan and Execute> Activity - Activity Details is not available. 

 Hi!The requirement is to display the absence hours in the ‘Activity Load Details’ in the “Resource Analysis” page (See screenshot 1) when an employee records absence using ‘Attendance Hours’ in the “Time Registration” window (See screenshot 2). When using the “Time registration” window to record absence, it picks ‘Wage Type’ and ‘Wage Code’ not the absence type. However, would like to know how this connection is built and what are the basic data that we must review to ensure the connection. Dear Community,  We use IFS Apps10 UPD21, and we have a lot of projects in the Project module. However we are not fully use all possible capabilities of that module. One question popped up regarding project capacity planning / forecasting and competencies. Is it possible to link somehow the project activities and/or tasks to a specific competency? Main goal would be: With the IFS capacity planning we can foresee the capacity issues, but how can we narrow down the capacity bottlenecks in competency? Like: we would like to foresee, if case of e.g.: welding competency will be a bottleneck in the next January based on the current projects and it’s timelines? I saw probably - if we would have the Work/Service Order module - we can link a Work Order (with required competency) to an Activity, however maybe that is a bit complicated process for us.  Do you have recommendation for business process and functionality? Thank you very much in advance for all your input! Kind regards, Balazs

Hello experts, We are going to IFS Cloud from IFS 7.5. We have been using purchase component method ‘Customer Order’ for one of our sites in 7.5.  Let’s say there is a part which has a component part attached in the project deliverables design, which we need to provide to the supplier. When we create the supply request for the top part and try to create a purchase order from the purchase requisition, we get the following error.   Have you ever encountered this issue? If yes, how did you manage continue the processIn IFS documentation, it doesn’t say anything about such limitation.  Thanks in advance. 

A Customer Order line can be supplied via project deliverables. In this case the supply code is “project deliverables”. Unfortunately, there is no automatism that automatically creates the project deliverables including structure, similar to what happens in the DOP.The idea is that, for example, the project deliverables is created using a button, linked to the activity of the customer order line and the inventory part of the sales part, including its product structure, is exploded in the project deliverables.If the sales part in the customer order is a configured part, the configuration in the customer order should be used in the deliverable and the configuration bom should be exploded. In IFS Standard the user has to configure twice… in customer order and afterwards in project deliverables as well.

Hi! I have a Project Connected to my Request in NGSM. I’ve created a Work Request Task and issued Material against the Request Work Task, I was expecting to see the Material Cost of this on my connected Project but can’t.  Any advice getting the costs to appear on my Project from my Request would be appreciated. I’m assuming there’s a posting control(s) that I’m missing?

We’re actively using Business Opps and recently started investigating using discounts instead of amending the price. We currently use discounts on the customer order lines and are able to enter values with multiple decimal places (we sometimes use 5). However, within business opps lines discounts, it only seems to allow us to enter to 2 decimal places, anymore and it’ll round up.Does anyone know how to override the number of decimal places that can be input within the discount code?E.g.I enter 5.7856IFS updates this to 5.79 LU - BusinessOpportunityLineTable BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_LINE_TAB Some testing:I attempted to enter this value directly into the DB and the output was similar to entering it in the front end. I checked the ALL_TAB_COLUMNS and couldn’t see any strange rounding here and also within the API I couldn’t find any rounding etc.  Any ideas?

Hi,I am trying to create a Project Invoice in a different currency than the base currency of the Project. I defined the required Invoice currency in Specific Sales Price under my Project Pricing but when trying to create the transaction, I see only my project base currency. I read in IFS documentation that this parallel currency is possible, but I am unable to execute this. Could someone please assist if I am missing anything here. Thanks

Hello Community, I have created a SOW Production from a SOW Estimated where Sales Contract was Connected. Then I entered some work recording and tried to updated the sales contract from SOW Production. As per solution it should create AFP for the progress. But i an unable to sync the progress in Sales Contract. The sales contract is in Active status along with the revision & items. I was able to update the Project Forecast, Project EAC, Project Material Plan , Project Resource Plan from the SOW. Does anyone know how to sync the progress to sales contract and sub contract?     

We don’t want to create cost accounting vouchers for some transactions/generate any GL entries.  We are just trying to get the project into completed status.  Normally I am able to temporarily change the ‘create cost accounting’ setting to ‘No’ on the relevant report code to ‘No, Do not update project cost’ via the option called ‘Update Cost Accounting’ in project transactions screen.Example: Report Code SERVICES is set to 'No Do not update project Cost'. However, when trying to update cost accounting, system prompts an error.  Any idea why this error prompts all of a sudden?

We have run into an issue that I would like to bring up in the community. It could be that we have missed a piece of existing functionality or we might face a gap that we have to navigate around somehow.We are using Project Deliverables to design a number of products to be shipped to the customer project site (new address for every project). There are multiple shipments created for a project, up to 40 deliveries (shipments) is not uncommon. I was expecting that a Project Address could be used to define the shipment address. When looking closer at the project address it is our understanding that it only defines the delivery address for purchase orders.If our finding above is correct the first thought is to create a customer address of type Delivery. This is of course possible. However we can’t find anywhere we can set-up what delivery address to use for the Project/Project Deliverables. The only place we have found so far is to create a shipment plan and change the delivery address. But

Just the like the title says, is there a way to reserve and issue material to a shop order from one activity simply by having it in the same PNG without having to do the overhead of a MTR.
