How the Cost Elements Are Mapped to a Project

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how the cost elements are mapped to a project? As shown in the attached image, there are two cost elements linked to this project, and I would like to understand how this mapping works.

Hi 

“Top level” answer is per Account code.  

For example, you have a non-stock PO pre-posted to 5200 and value would be included against ‘LABOUR’ (or however you have it set up...)

Just a note regarding the earlier response: It is also possible to use code parts other than Account for the cost/revenue element mapping. The base for the code part is defined in Define Code String.
